It was probably just promo shots to sell the new riders and at the time everyone was against Yggdrasil.I'm not 100% sure where the series is heading,but I do know there are quite a few factions.

1.Yggdrasil,basically Micchy and Takatora
2.Whatever group Ryouma's is
3.Kaito.Yeah,he said he is with Ryouma but he has never helped them out and has been using them to find the Overlords,that's it.
4.Kouta.He's basically by himself.Only one I've seen help him is Knuckle.
5.The freelancers,Baron and Gridon.

This is going to lead to a major battle in the end,which is always a good thing.I still believe Kaito is going to betray Ryouma's group when he gets what he needs,and I think once he fights against Kouta,that's when Kouta will get his final form.

I think that Takatora and Micchy are both on their own sides because Micchy is really only looking out for himself and everyone else has their own agendas that Takatora doesn't even realize he's by himself.

Knuckle is really on Kouta's side because Zack just wants to help people.

I don't know if anything has really changed because I haven't seen episode 25 yet.

You know everyone else might lose their powers or die and it could end up like how it was in the first episode. I hope not because I love Knuckle and the Energy Riders but it is a possibility.

It looks like it with the pointed hat-kind-of-thing and the elf-like ears, however, this picture does not match up to the "one-horn sticking up" silhouette.

Crest is definitely a different design, but I think it's still a bit excusable. Something may have changed in production or they may have just modified stock photo for the teaser silhouette.

Yeh, I would probably go with this rather than the stretched out theory as like you said its clearly different and the way its stretched it couldnt have made that pointy head.

But, if Kiwami arms does look like that i would be happy, the head/helmet is not as fancy as Kachidoki arms but it simpleness looks good, the 'horns' reminds me of some dragon whiskers.

So everyone remember how the previews for next episode featured Gaim teaming up with Zangetsu? Well some rumors say that apparently... the ...next episode after, Micchy somehow steals Takatora's driver and attacks Kota, causing Kota to distrust Zangetsu, apparently knocking out his own brother to do so...Fuck. You. Micchy.

But why wouldn't they be? Logically there's no reason they shouldn't be. If the less powerful Sengoku Drivers are then why wouldn't the Genesis Drivers be as well? I don't put much stock in this rumor.

I literally laughed my ass off when the sponsor screen was re-shot to include lock seeds instead of locks, and you can quite clearly see the reflection change to his normal helmet squished as he moves slightly to remove the distortion, instantly proving everyone who thought it was a new suit wrong.

And some people STILL think it's a new helmet? I am in tears from laughing so hard. It doesn't even match the shape of the final form, and people still hold on to it being a new suit.

Sengoku drivers were only locked for testing purposes, so that any information gained was uncompromised by different users. Normal Sengoku Drivers are not DNA locked, and the Genesis Drivers aren't for testing, so there's no reason they should be DNA locked.

I do. Even if the Genesis Drivers are DNA locked, guess what? Micchy and Takatora are brothers. The Genesis Driver would allow Micchy to use it because they have the same DNA.

I think you're missing the more likely scenario, however; who does Micchy have on his side?

Ryoma. And as has been stated over and over, Ryoma is just the right kind of manipulative paranoid madman to build killswitches or backdoors into all of his creations. Especially in the case of someone he's planning to inevitably stab in the back. My guess is that he "unlocks" Takatora's Genesis Driver, or at least re-codes it to allow Micchy to use it.

Given that he did receive data from them, it he should be able to. Which brings up a point- why doesn't he just disable Kouta's SengokuDriver if he's still being a pain in the ass to them? :lol

If the exchange from #19 is anything to go by, he still wants to see what Kouta can really do- more importantly I think he's just doing it because Kouta amuses him. Note that the only time he was really shocked was when Kachidoki arms was deployed, and even after, what with Sagara's revelations, he's still intent on using both Gaim and Baron to test his hypothesis.

Really it seems like Micchy and Sid are the more frustrated with Kouta than Ryoma is.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? PINECONE ENERGY?! How does that even work?! And is that him fighting Baron in that pic above or a trooper? I assume it's Peco. Or maybe he's helping him, who knows. Probably has something to do with Baron vs Knuckle, which I'm pretty excited to see.

Looks like Baron Lemon Energy Arms set the stage for more new Riders/Forms that werent planned up until now. Really like the new variation of Kurokages Weapon that Peco is using.

Saw something mentioned on HJU that Pinecone energy might be a movie thing...whuch makes sense I guess. But also...it has a pic of Micchy wearing Takatora's genesis driver or at least a facsimile of it so that's confirmed. And something else was mentioned: on the pic introducing Kurokage Shin, Ryugen's nowhere to be found. So IF they're sticking with Micchy as Zangetsu Shin, what the hell happens to Takatora?

I think it's interesting that in the movie scans,the one silhouette is Gaim's final form,but they showed the coloring of the visor.

I'm sticking by my theory that Micchy kills Takatora by accident (or on purpose) and that Takatora gives Kouta the Melon Energy LS.The visor looks like a mix of Melon and Orange,so maybe the Melon Energy LS connects to the Kachidoki LS in some way.

This would also give Micchy a reason to turn full evil,not just out of jealousy.Seeing his brother,who he tried to be like,giving the person he hates the most pretty much his legacy before dying instead of giving it to him.

Okay, these developments have confuse me even further. I knew they couldn't hold that level of awesome just as soon as Hase bit the dust. They haven't really hit that high point again for me, yet.

I'm beginning to lose sight of what Gen is trying to do here, but I do hope he can pull it off without being meddled into debuting too much merch over pursuing good plot.

Ah well, I knew it wasn't going to be perfect going into it, because let's be honest, no work of fiction is totally perfect. Fan fiction wouldn't exist other wise :lol

I have just came up with this.
If the Melon Energy Lockseed and the Matsubokuri Energy Lockseed were made out of a Melon Lockseed and Matsubokuri Lockseed Respectively, then that means that the other three Energy Lockseeds were made with a Lemon Lockseed, Peach Lockseed and Cherry Lockseed. These unseen lockseeds might be located in an unknown part of Hellheim ( that might be the reason why they have never been found by an armored rider or Yggsrasil( well not onscreen)).
My point of all these is that these lockseeds might be next to debut in the show.

The Lemon and Cherry Lockseed currently I dont have an idea of who could use them.
But I have an idea for the Peach Lockseed.

That with a Peach Lookseed and a Sengoku Driver being given to Mai (either a mass-produced version modified by Dj Sagara in order to have a yellow strap and Rider Indicator or a Yellow Strap version given to Mai by the Mysterious Girl) she might transform into a new armored rider that would be in fact a armored rider version of Marika.
How could these fit into the history?
Well with Mitchy being totally evil and supporting Ryoma, Sid and Yoko in their unknown plans, everyone wanting him to open his eyes and realize what is he doing, everyone realize that the only one who could really help Mitchy is: Mai.
So Dj Sagara gives Kouta the task to prepare Mai for that.
In order for Mai to be able to get back Mitchy she must become an Armored Rider.
Dj Sagara ask Kouta to destroy Marika`s Sengoku Driver, in order to keep her for transforming again, steal another Peach Energy Lockseed and a mass-produced sengoku driver. Then Sagara using his special abilites(the ones that he used to create the Kachidoki Lockseed) to fuse Marika`s suit data in the mass-produced Sengoku Driver(in the process giving the driver a yellow strap and more power like the original drivers being used by Kouta, Ryugen, Baron etc,) and mutating the Peach Energy Lockseed into The standard Peach Lockseed. Thus Mai uses this to transform into a new armored rider and she will fight against Mitchy( in ryugen´suit) defeating him with Kouta preventing Duke and Sigurd from interfering. Mai defeats Mitchy because in a crucial moment when he had the opprtunity to defeat her, he could not bring himself to harm her, realizing what he has been doing begging Mai and Kouta for forgiveness declaring that he was so jealous of the feelings of Mai for Kouta.

Micchy stealing Takatora's driver and becoming Shin Zangetsu sounds so fucking dumb. I Know I see a picture of him wwearing the driver but damn it I hate the idea. To see Urobochi just throw belt swapping into this show halfway through, undermines all of his "masterful" writing he's done so far.

Some times I just don't understand. One second Kouta is teaming up with a rider the next their enemies. I wouldn't mind this if wasn't so sudden most of the times.

I just wonder how long Bravo, Gridon, Sigurd, and Marika are gonna last. I really only see Gaim, Baron, and maybe Ryugen lasting. Zangestu is kind of iffy. If Micchy decides to kill him, then i really hope he dies as well. I can kind of see Kouta and Kaito battling it out as the last two riders.

I guess the thing is that there are no factions. Like in a war, factions change all the time, depending on who can assist who at any current moment. The important thing is that their principles are at least consistent, even if the methods of achieving their goals may change.

Just a thought. Remember when Baron used to summon Invess without a care, treating it as part of his moveset? Considering his current attitude is "I don't care, unless you're strong", do you think he can still summon Invess as an energy rider, or is he somehow not able to now. Better yet, will Urobuchi remember that this was his thing and have him do it again, or is that plot point done? He could definitely piss of Deemushu by sending his own mooks after him, after he initially summons them.

But when was the last time he did that? Can they even summon Invess like that in Hellheim? If the Overlords come out to the real world side, then I can see Kaito tryin that one.

I'm reasonably certain the Overlords are actually capable of assuming control (sorry) of summoned Inves, though. Someone as studious and clever as Kaito would have probably figured that out already; someone less in the know, like Jounuichi, Oren, or Mai, probably would try that trick ONCE and have it backfire spectacularly.

Speaking of Mai, as there was some talk a few pages back about her possibly receiving a Driver either in the series (not likely) or in the AU movie (possible), I'm wondering if she'd get either a direct variant or offshoot of Orange Arms; the Musou Saber and Daidaimaru combine into a Naginata-like weapon and, traditionally, what's the weapon of female nobles/Samurai's wives?

Given his blind grab for power, Im not sure what Kaito thinks anymore :lol

Id hope it would just be a Peach Lockseed normal version and she gets a normal driver. Maybe Micchy bites the dust and gets his rewritten. We can hope right?

I mean if we have Melon and Matsubokkuri Energy seeds, whats stopping us from having normal Lemon, Peach, and Cherry? :lol

I don't know if Micchy needs to bite it if he takes on Shin Zangetsu full time from now on. Oh. Hmm. That does put the opening in a new light...

Anyway, Duke and Marika at least have precedents for their base forms; Duke is a recolor of Baron, and Marika of Ryugen. Sigurd/Cherry Energy doesn't really have a Sengoku equivalent, the closest I can think of being Gridon due to the shared Viking motif.
