I personally think a new Kamen Rider they could have a huge success rate would be the main writer being huge well, not a fan himself or herself and then suddenly he or she is thrust into the world of Kamen Rider

Anyway I think its a good time to start discussing the secondary rider, I suggest Ice-age creatures with excavation tools as weapons

I think it would be cool to have her be a cool girl in high school who has an interest in science a la Jotaro Kujo.

For the secondary rider I was thinking of it being a guy in high school who has a love if paleontology. I want him to be a sidekick-like character who looks up to Paleo. I think we should make the tertiary rider female.

Why not the secondary rider a female? I mean we did talk about it early on.

Plus, a rider that looks up to the main one would be better for tertiary than the secondary, as secondary is usually the rival.

I never really agreed on the female secondary. I've always hated the secondary and main rider being rivals, I want them to be like Batman and Robin.

But them being rivals adds a dynamic aspect and makes it all the more worth it when they finally do team up.
I mean you can have rivals that will work together with the main like Akira Date.

Why can't the tertiary and main riders be rivals? It doesn't have to be main and secondary.

You know I think it would be a good idea to get the police,the goverment,and the military more involved in the story..eventually working with the museum to develop anti- extinct weaponry. And be just as or even more competent than Paleo at protecting the public, with Paleo starting of as an unrespected newb / guinea pig , who then eventually evolves into a someone worthy of leading the military to battle against an army of extinct.

As for the secondary, we could make him the stoic,reluctant badass normal who's comically forced by his bosses to babysit Ray and making sure he doesnt do anything stupid and teach him how to do his job while differing in values and personality. ( somewhat a mix of the classic rival and the friendly types). Eventually gets jealous of all the power Ray is getting which makes him volunteer to be a test subject for the new driver.

As for the Tertiary, how about a humanoid extinct taking the form of a dead girl it befriended (by possessing her corpse) hoping for a way to bring her back to life. who transforms into a kaijin-like rider form before getting a proper driver that gives her a more heroic rider form

I love that idea Yuu! Getting the military involved seems like it can really add more to the story. The idea for tertiary rider sounds good. It reminds me of the Worms from Kabuto. How about for the secondary rider, it's the military leader's teenage son that Ray has to babysit and train.

I would wish that the main hero would go through a "Hulk" vibe. If he turns into a kaiju like Eiji did.

As for the secondary rider who'll take on ice age beasts. Which ones will he use?

I'm thinking definitely Mammoth, Saber Tooth, and Teratorn. Maybe Megaloceros.

also, to respond to an earlier comment from Helios, i don't think it would be a good idea for secondary and tertiary riders to be rivals, because then you run the risk of Paleo having to be the one to make them get along and in turn become their babysitter.

Actually its the other way around. Its Ray that has to be babysitted by the secondary right from the start after Ray gets involved in the whole extinct mess.( he is a civilian after all). So basically a snarkier Kagami

no, I meant that if the tertiary and secondary are rivals, we might as well have Ray either be the competent one, or not be there at all since he doesn't matter to them, IE, being a babysitter and getting the job done instead, or not be the main character at all.

like, keeping the idea of one of the side riders as an admirer of Paleo would be good, but it kinda would need to be worked a bit since Japan doesn't really have a massive military (it has a strict law that says Japan can't have one) and instead has a defense force.

As for the rider my ideas are:

Paleo- since he was just a delivery boy, I figured he be a nice guy with a dorky side who's not really special combat wise due to lack of combat training and thus relies more on his power ups (at first)

Secondary- a more mentally mature and somewhat stoic agent who got forced into keeping close watch on Ray and give him some training, unlike most secondaries, he serves more like a mentor to Ray instead of a rival despite not getting along very well.

Tertiary- a humanoid extinct who befriended a high school girl who found and took care of her after just being born. Took on the appearance of said girl after she was killed by other extinct ( because extinct are supposed to hate humans) as an example and vowed to defeat all the other extinct to avenge the death of her friend. Eventually begins to idolize Ray after seeing his abilities. So she's somewhat a mix of Hiyori and Nadeshiko

I get your idead more now. If the others are cool with it, I say let's do it.

As far as a brand new Kamen Rider I still like to see more bug riders in the kr kabuto line up. I always thought ia mix of kick hopper and punch hopper called combo hopper or something like it would be pretty dope.

Stinger - identity unknown based off of wasp think of a s.i.c. esque design sort of distorted dark blue instead of gold and yellow

Let's do this like how we did Paleo. In a series of stages. First is obviously name and background info. Second is the belt. Then forms with the weapons for each. Finally, rider machine.

For the name I was thinking of Kamen Rider Ice Age or Kamen Rider Glacier. I know it's not creative but, it can work.

Will he use amber stones also? I would like to use them again, but for a different belt though.

Hmm giving him an ice aged themed name straight out says ice feels a bit restricted and misleading to what his powers are , Maybe we could name him based on how he fights like if he uses tools then we could name him something like Kamen Rider Digger, Driller, Excave, Hunter, Terrakion, etc. Or we could name him KR Pleisto(cene) which if I read wikipedia correctly is probably the ice age

We need to combine those two motifs somehow for his name. You're correct about Pleistocene though.

We didn't do the second Rider. We just mentioned him/her. No work done on them.

I know that, I just wrote the post incorrectly. What I meant to say was that the secondary rider is just an extra project that connects with Paleo. We finished the main thing, we just left the extra part incomplete.

How about Kamen Rider Hunter?

He'll be based on Prehistoric-Ice Age beasts.

I love that name. It's simple, but great.

I was thinking Archaeo, myself. Even though his power-ups are based on Ice Age creatures, he's got an "early human civilization hunter" theme about him and uses arrowhead artifacts with "cave markings" of the beasts chiseled into them for his collectibles.

Both names sound good. But since we have Palo, why not use Hunter? Archaeo goes with the theme of using era-like names. But Hunter seems more fitting for the style and type.

As for his powers how about we make them similar to Paleo but make it

Mammals (tigers,mammoths etc) as a counterpart to Thero
Insects -counterpart to Quadro (because insects have armor and weapons)
Fishes and Reptiles (gonna need a better name for this one) - for Aqua
Birds for Aero

And his final form could be called Evolved as to Paleos Extinction
