:lol that Nappa is hilarious. Excited for Krillin and Freeza!
|
I wanna see better pictures of (well all of them really) 18. She looks a little funny. Lord knows I'll buy 'em all up anyway though. I also hope Nappa has some snap on saiyan armor. I'm super excited!!
|
It's not the pictures. They just didn't bother posing 18.
It shows how weirdly long and lanky her arms are. Should've put her in an action pose or something better than "Standing there." |

Here's hoping Nappa's body will be used for Broly as well. Oh yes, and snap on armor please :) |

Nappa, Cell, Frieza and normal Vegeta are all must haves for me. Guess I can't avoid this line any longer and should probably pick up SS Vegeta and Goku at some point :lol
|
I just noticed something about Nappa's face. It's his face from when Goku one hit KOed him. Between that and Vegeta's meme accessories, Bluefin is proving they know exactly what fans wants.
...now how about a pokeball accessory for Nappa? :p |

Nappa and normal Vegeta? Well, time to link my bank account to Bluefin.

I am so glad I do not have the money or room to collect the Dragonball Figuarts, because if I did, I would be buying every one of those.
|
Only DBZ Figuarts I have is SSJ Vegeta...well because it's vegeta, and I got a pretty decent price on him.
Only other one I'd buy I think is Kid Goku from the original Dragon Ball, since that' the DB I grew up with. |
I am the same way...glad I'm not a DBZ fanatic...they are really sweet though...
on a totally different note I had a rocking though...If bandai did this lord knows it would sell..but they should really do a generic effect set, flaming punches, fireballs, rider kicks etc, if they made that and packaged it with a stage set (act what ever number they want) I am so sure that would sell.. |

Forgot to mention that my cousin called me earlier today from the BlueFin booth at SDCC, to ask which was the figure I wanted. So looks like I'm getting me a Gohan!

dude! not goin to get us anythin! jerk. lol |
Well, he probably picked up a couple extras, but he also might be considered by many to be one of those scalpers mentioned above. Then again, he did have to go to considerable effort and cost to get there, so I find it understandable to ask over the original price for the exclusives.
If you want to buy one off him, let me know your offer and I'll pass it on to him. |

You are right though, Bandai should have credit too. Kudos to both. |
No no no! sorry, I didn't mean to make anyone feel like a jerk. He and I have had discussions about scalping before, quite recently in fact. He's a member on a toy forum, he knows how people feel about scalpers, and for the most part, he's a fairly polite one, he doesn't always take everything from a store. He's by no means the worst example of the scalper archetype.
But exclusives are a big part of how he pays for his trip to SDCC. Curiously, the stuff that gets him the biggest gains are the freebies. Some people pay hella stupid money for things like free posters and crap. He made off like a bandit a couple years ago with free Twilight posters, people were paying $70 for those things! When DC Direct did those ridiculous rainbow Hal Jordan figures, he tried to get them for me (and extras to sell). He spent hours in line trying to get those stupid things, and he never did. It was a huge waste of his time. Since then I've cut back on how much I ask him to get for me. The DCUC exclusives of past years have often been a pain for him (and I didn't offer to pay more than than the sticker price until this year) I'm hoping to get the Bruticus, but Hasbro lines are sometimes quite bad too. Anyway, I really didn't mean to make you feel bad for call him a scalper, I've called him that, and worse, before too, and we still hang out every week. |
Hey, you do what you have to. I've been to cons before and bought the exclusives (one for me and one to sell) and made good money off that extra. I don't begrudge ANYONE who does that. You were at the con, you waited in line, your money time and mental anguish went into getting it. You sell it for what you think is fair based on your involvement. I don't think that's scalerpish, I think that's fair. Depending on what his after con price is on a Gohan I'd be interested too.

Lol makes sense. He doesnt sound bad at all. So long as hes not swapping toys or ripping build-a-figure pieces out of package. lol those dudes are the worst.
Any idea on Gohan sales limit? |

Well I ordered AkibaRed from BBTS since they had him instock.
|
I've got a Gohan coming my way!!! I hope you guys are able to track yours down soon? What the after market looking like? I wonder how the original release will be effected.
edit: Oh the sddc release is an easy double the retail. LOL |
Sheesh, seems like these days any fool with an iphone is making a video review of something.
Hey, look! I made a video review! I bought the R&M Knight Darkwing and SH Darkwing to compare to the SHF Darkwing. Guess which one is better. Review #9: Comparing Darkwing - SH Mirror Monsters vs Riders & Monsters vs SH Figuarts - YouTube |
I just bought Urataros on eBay for $42 ($52 BIN - $10 eBay bucks). Seemed like a good deal to me. :D

Yeah, I'm having fun. I spent a couple hours last night filming all my SH Den-O figures. It's going to take forever to edit the footage together and cut it down to a reasonable length, but it was fun.
Meteor, I don't know. I think I don't like the design. Granted I have only seen the first episode of Fourze where he appeared, becuase I'm watching that one really slow, but so far the costume is just odd, and the toy looks the same. But I'm sure I'll end up getting it eventually, Figuarts are just too much fun. Good review, I would make a suggestion though, the noises the plastic tray made were picked up really well by the camera, I had kind of a hard time hearing you when you were moving the tray around. But other than that, I enjoyed watching your video. |
THANK A LOT! I love getting feedback! I was almost tempted to spend the whole day reviewing. I think I'm ganna do some dbz figuarts next!
|
