Can't find the source but I've read it's more AR world BS. Producer has said that he's still going with the "Every series is it's own world" stuff (Despite previous Phase 2 Directors going out of their way to connect ATLEAST Phase 2) but Zi-O's world has every show happen on it as well.

That's the same as every Rider fighting in base form rather than their upgrades. You'll most likely still see the original Decade Driver in most crossover appearances of Decade that don't actually feature him as a focus character since it's the one actually used in his show (unless they actually changed the original prop and don't have it anymore, but I doubt that). It's also the same reason you have Black and Black RX appearing separately in most crossovers.


That comment was about the tv show itself, it has nothing to do with the movie. Shirakura hasn't been involved with tv Rider since Decade and sees every series as their own world since he clearly didn't follow the work done by other people afterwards. He even initially said that New World Build was different from the Build in Zi-O since there are no Riders in New World, before stepping back and correcting himself some time later since that contradicts a statement from Build's producer regarding how New World is the world with the other Riders.

And I'm not talking about the connection of Zi-O to the previous shows anyway, I'm talking about tv Zi-O and Zi-O in Heisei Generations Final. It will be really annoying if those two can't match up (Zi-O meeting Build in the beginning of the movie and acting like everything is normal while Build was never restored in the Zi-O tv series). The future changing soon does give me some hope it'll work out though.

Honestly, the showrunner's intent can't really fix 'every series is it's own world' stuff regardless of which direction they want to go in. If they're in the same world, why is nobody paying attention to obvious stuff (global freeze, Helheim attacks), if they're in different worlds most of the crossovers don't work.

I am going to be really bummed if we don't get an Another Owner out of this.

If I'm not mistaken, and I very well could be, didn't the scans show that Woz's Driver had a lever mechanism to it in some fashion?

According to Sunred's translation of the scans, the process is:
1. Set the miride watch on the right side of the Beyondriver.
2. Press the button on the watch and the doors on the watch opens.
3. Close the lever to henshin. So basically, the lever is pushed frontwards bending at 90 degrees.
Special attacks
1. Pull the lever back and then close it again pretty much.

Oh! The face of the Miridewatch splits in half? That makes the whole thing make sense.

So clicking the watch's button will go "Future Time! Sugoi! Jidai! Mirai!" as a jingle? And then closing will go Kamen Rider Woz! Woz!?

Though I don't think we've seen all the extra future riders. Still seems like one in particular is missing based on their concept premise.

Not necessarily. The Hei Saber can use other rider powers, but that doesn't mean it'll be the direct go to in destroying "Another riders".

Take Another Kabuto theoretically for example. The Hei Saber by itself wouldn't work because of Kabuto's innate Clock up feature the Another Rider would inherit. So a Kabuto form that could match that would be needed, especially for extra emphasis on Hyper Kabuto's extra speed to be faster. So we may see something that makes that obsolete long term as is prone to happen per series anyway.

Though also, even in destroying Another Ghost, Zi-O still went Grateful full form Ghost too through Decade. So we saw several uses of the ride armor even with the Hei saber in play. Which will likely be common going forward in Q2 for a bit.

Plus there will likely be other Another Rider powering ups too long term. Not every rider is equal in strength, and we do need an excuse for Zi-O and Geiz, as well as maybe Tsukuyomi to get powered up forms beyond the Decade upgrade. This is only the first "upgrade" in power forms. We should still get one for Q2(which we've seen the Zi-O and Geiz enhancements for that), and Q3(likely Tsukuyomi and Woz's extra power ups there) as well. With Q4 surprises maybe(new King form?).

And that's not counting whatever upgrades the Time Jackers get too.

So we might start seeing 'final form another riders' as the monsters escalate. But unknown on that.

So I really wouldn't assume the Hei Saber makes the ride armors obsolete at all. Especially as various another riders have unique properties that only their Ride Armor can match like Kabuto for example.

Am curious if Decade is going to get a K-Touch upgrade to Hei Touch though for a new Decade Complete.
As well as if we'll see the return of his "another rider" form from his own series that he and Diend had.

Super speed could be used through a different Watch, like maybe Decade + Drive or Faiz.

The toys for all Riders are already out too, so they have no reason to contrive a situation where the old toys would be needed rather than the newer and upcoming ones. For example, we're getting Kamen Rider Woz with powers based on future Riders, so it seems very unlikely the main cast will be facing Another Riders based on the existing Heisei Riders in the next few weeks, which would make Woz useless in his very debut.

We just got an arc where rather than an Another Rider we got a standalone enemy, "Kasshin" too.

That said, there are still those Final Form Watches, which are the only collectibles in q2 outside of the ones packed with Woz. They didn't have form designs in the toyguide, but I doubt the show will ignore the only q2 collectibles (the toyguide also only had Decade/Build and we got more than that - maybe Decade can be used alongside the final form watches too?)... the main issue is that the main DX ones are just for the W->Build Riders, not the early Heisei ones.

Now I want an Another Kivat if they ever got around to a Kiva arc.

Interview with Zi-O's producer, talks about the differences between Heisei and Showa Riders. At one point he addresses how the show's story is confusing and gives this answer:

I can accept having an actual complex plot but Zi-O's feels confusing as in poorly written. I think fair enough kids can still think it looks cool, want the toys, etc without fully getting the plot.

Also, the head writer hasn't worked on the show in the last 7 episodes (Kyuranger's writer did the last 7 and will do the next one). I imagine this also makes having a consistent voice kind of difficult.

the role of Kamen Rider Shinobi will be played by Hideya Tawada, best known as "Starninger" from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.

Honestly, having Toku alumni return to play these future Riders is super cool and has piqued my interest just a little. Starninger is Shinobi, which makes sense. Wonder who they will get for Quiz and Kikai though?

Really didn't expect the Future Riders to actually be full-fledged riders, with a civilian form and everything.

Well, it's the ninninger writer writing zio. Lupin is written by the zyuoh one. Both are kind of disappointing. I'm not the rep of the target audience and major fan base, but plot as bad as these still affect sales despite all the actions and bad design from recent years. The future riders wouldn't be interesting without these cameo gimmick to pull viewers in. All of them look like they're from ghost.

Kamen Rider Shinobi's name confirmed to be Rentaro Kamikura.

I respect the fact they haven't just pulled an SPD Omega Ranger and actually gave us a human face for the Rider. The fact that it's Kinji only makes it sweeter.

Would it be nice if Hongo Takeshi/Ichigo shows up to Sougo as the "Jay Garrick" of KR? Like show him the path of a hero if he wants to become a good king.

I am a damned fool. First, because I didn't notice that the actor is the same one who played Kenji/StarNinja, and second, because I didn't immediately notice how twee it is that they'd cast a shuriken-ninja-Sentai actor as the shuriken-ninja-Rider.
