Yeah, but Hasbro's also been known to save money wherever they can, so if they can cheap out by just essentially re-issuing a MMPR Pink, I could see them taking it.

It'd most likely be a Putty Soldier; The fusion of a Putty and a Foot Soldier that shows up in the comic.

That'd also be assuming that everyone who'd buy these already own the MMPR LCs, which isn't the case.

I don't own or want the LC MMPR releases, but I'd want these including a pink ranger April.

SPD pink is probably the body we should expect for any female rangers going forward.
I still dislike the arms and thinner joints but beyond that not bad.

They didn't do the lining for the visor. While I personally like the silver lining on the figures in place of white(at times), I would like consistency. Same with the collar situation.

Still leaves us with SPD yellow.

DT Blue is the MVP of this line even if Zeo Green was out.
Solid presentation all around.

His accessory was a big thing I wanted to see and it's solid.
Needs some paint but it's not undersized and the spike can extend/retract.

Though the morpher being white is strange. They actually have to insert that thing.
Why not make it blue plastic or make them detachable like SPD Omega?

LG Red, no major differences from the two pack version except the red ring around his neck is bigger(LG Blue has the bigger ring too). I like this because it was too smaller before.

The helmet plastic is a little darker as well. Something I notice with all these rereleases. No quasar saber. Comes with the launcher. I thought the launcher might be able to extend but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Something about how Hasbro took photos of the head. I think the new one looks better. It seems like Hasbro is leaning more into an "animated" type of head. They aren't trying to go for one to one realism. There is more play with the expression and hair. The neutral face and some attempts at making a neutral face smile have been problematic at times.

Not that the old head is bad. It still looks fine but it's this super serious older looking face(like the actor at 40) in comparison.



If you already own LG Red, I don't think you need to buy the new figure unless you want all the new accessories. Or if the paint job on your figure isn't up to snuff.

No not really. Since we've gotten so few female characters we've had a limited idea of how they'd handle the bodies for certain teams. SPD lacks those long gloves. If they were going to make any changes to the body, they would have done it here. Like the guys have a slightly altered torso with SPD.

Now that we have the Dino Fury adaptation of Ryusoulger, how likely is it we get a Max Ryusoul (or whatever Dino Fury equivalent) Lightning Collection figure?

I don't know much about LC, like if its following a timeline or anything.

LC is kinda random and all over the place and takes ages to come close to completion on anything. For instance, in the two years it's been around; it's only just recently finished Zyuranger and Neziranger, and those are the only two teams it's finished -- just to give you an idea of how long it takes them to get to completion on something. We've also seen no super forms yet (unless you count armoured tyrannoranger; but either way I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two eventually), and despite knowing what their waves as far as August looks like there isn't even a leak for any Ryusoulger figures. Base forms are also far more important to the target audience than super forms for probably obvious reasons.

Basically... not totally out the realm of possibility but unless they really surprise us, I think you'd be waiting an extremely long time. I'd look into the basics range instead.

I'd settle for a Max Ryusoul 6-inch figure in that other line. Hopefully that one keeps good pace with the show.

Usually I'd warn that it's likely to have very little paint, judging by the Go-Busters' powered custom mode figures from last year...

Reviews of Wave 8 are starting to pop up, and most seem to agree that DT Blue is the best of them. The most notable thing being that his neck is slightly longer than most other LC figures, making him look less stumpy and allowing his helmet a bit of extra movement range. Hope it's the new standard going forward.

Yeah DT Blue is probably one of my favorite overall releases in the line yet. Ethan came out stellar.

I know it’s oooooold news, but I finally got the In space 2 pack and I love the red ranger ( which oddly enough, is the red ranger design I hate the most after Turbo in the Saban era....) and Astronema sure is reusing the feet parts of the Ranger Slayer, so I sort of have the same problem I had with Ranger Slayer with Astronema.
Also....errr she doesn’t look like the actress at all.

Got Zeo Green from Bestbuy.

This wave overall isn't the most spectacular as we've seen all these teams before, so it's generally an accessories comparison(and more much paint Hasbro will apply).

DT Blue wins the accessories game.
So next wave it's either Big Bird or your preferred ranger.

Just received Zeo Green from Amazon. Might be jumping the gun a bit, but I think it's probably the best Lightning Collection release in the entire line.

He poses extremely well. They've fixed the issue with some helmets sitting too low on the body (I believe they did the same modification on Zeo Red). He can actually put his arms straight down, something that's been a bit lacking on many LC figures (can't remember if the other Zeo Rangers had that issue). He comes with his signature weapons unlike Zeo Blue. But what really sells it for me is how immaculate the Johnny Yong Bosch headsculpt is. I'm in awe. It seriously rivals import companies. It almost feels like a waste to have him posed with the helmet on when his unmasked head is this good.

I could also be biased since Zeo Green/Adam is very near and dear to my heart as the original Auto Morphin' figure is one of the first Ranger toys I ever owned. But the fact that Hasbro knocked it out of the park (no pun intended) makes it that much better.

P.S. I'm also realizing that we kind of have a lack of Green Rangers in the line. I believe Bridge will only be the 4th unique Green Ranger in the line (one of them being Psycho Green).

Hasbro Pulse now has a UK branch so you guys in the UK can get those exclusives too.

I checked it out earlier -- their only LC stock thus far are the two upcoming waves, and they don't have exclusives. I take that to mean though that they're just not putting any previous stock in there and we will get future exclusives... and honestly, I'm not really gonna lose sleep over psycho green, shiny pink and 2 putties. So yeah, this is cool! It's also a nice way for us to actually get the recent waves when they come out instead of like 8 months later!

They do have some Transformers exclusives too, including those Headmasters. Tempting...

Technically old rumors. We've seen the code "MERCURY" before, which lead people to believe that Mercury Ranger was going to be an upcoming figure at one point.

My hunch is that VEL MERCURY is either Ninja Storm Green or RPM Green. They'd be two solid Rangers to kick off a team. That or Dino Charge/Time Force would be under new codes.

I think Ecliptor has been a figure of speculation before, so a possible answer would be the Red Ecliptor/Burning Yugande redeco. Just a thought.

The only other answer I can think of is Maligore/Dark Specter, but there isn't a lot of difference between the two and that might complicate the marketing.

Yeah, these were basically my guesses as well. I could see them doing Ecliptor as a way to help promote the upcoming comic.

So we have a lot of PR stuff to be unveiled in the next few months if all those listings are correct.

You have Gi Joe, Transformers, and Marvel legends announcing a ton of new figures.

Power Rangers just really gets the one. Big event where the truly new figure is just the one Sentry.

But it seems like there will be another event before the end of the month.

Yeah, Transformers had a lot of exciting stuff -- Rhinox, Tracks, Core Soundwave... their entire wave 3 and their titan, in fact. Lightning Collection just had this guy.

I thought the whole Fan Fest was kind of underwhelming, but the Power Rangers segment was by far the worst part. Plus if I wanted those figures (I don't) I can't buy them anyway because they're exclusives! They fixed MMPR Red's helmet at least, that's... cool.

It's very strange we haven't gotten any LC Dino Fury announcements or even teases, even then I'm not confident they'll do the whole team

My running theory is that their LC Go-Busters didn't do well - hence why we've seen absolutely nothing from that season since wave 4 - and they're taking that to mean they shouldn't cover the currently airing season.

Such a shame that the only two BM members they haven't done yet are the two best characters of that team, too.

Though Hasbro really should have thought about it better.
They decided to rush out three Beast Morphers figures.
For Wave 2, five of the eight figures were Beast Morpher.
Then Wave 3 -three BM Blue.
All the while they had these same figures next to the budget line of BM figures.

Supply and Demand with way too much supply.

They should have spread them out more or lowered the quantity. Hopefully they've gotten over this strange idea that any figure should be three per case.
