Skull is also a W retool, right? Either way I could see them doing Eternal before anyone else because he's hella popular, something today's Kamen Rider poll results only reinforced
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...34/unknown.png |
Yeah, Double honestly has a lot of retool possibilities given how so many of the suits in the show were just retools/redecos of each other (although we've already went through half of them). I suspect we'll probably get Fang Joker at some point, maybe Fang Trigger as a P-Bandai in the future as well? Maybe if the anime is popular enough I suppose. As far as Accel is concerned, this once again goes back to how they'll release the extra riders/more unique alt-forms, given they're currently focused on the main Heisei 20 (aside from mostly exclusive easy retools).
|
I'd honestly love to see them do villains like Eternal and Shadow Moon. I've always liked the idea of having a small villainous Rider collection at this scale but it was always impossible to justify due to the price of SHFs; but FRS would be perfect for that

Highly doubt it, especially for a black repaint. If they couldn't even do it for Fourze's black lines I would not get your hopes up

Monday's is FRS Amplified, right? So I'm betting we'd just see Rider on Sunday
|
FRS, Digimon, 30MM, Full Mechanics, SD World, Entry Grade and Real Grade!? Holy hell that's a lineup. Only missing MG to really send the hype into orbit.
I hope the next Rider is either Kiva or Gaim. Also in the TFW Gundma thread is was mused that with the Black Sun continuation coming out we may see a FRS Black or RX to tie-in and segue us into Showa. |
Still holding out for Double Riders myself!
What I am expecting - and I hope I'm not getting my hopes up too much here - is some kind of 'surprise' that's not just another main Heisei Rider; whether it be another bike, a Showa, a Reiwa, a secondary, a final form... something. This is by far the longest they've gone without a new reveal in a while (usually they reveal something new when there's two more retail kits to come out; but their last known retail release - OOO - is out next month). We could be seeing something pretty big or more than we usually get from this. Still, I'll be happy with whatever we do get! It will probably be at least two retail kits that get revealed so that's something |
Which bike would you guys like to get next? Personally, Lazer (given that it can double as a rider and a bike). The Hardboilder or Auto Vajin would also be quite cool. Maybe the Machine Builder as well.
|
Hardboilder, and if they ever do the Riders for them; New Cyclone and Battle Hopper. I think I'm pretty good otherwise!
|
Auto Vajin for sure. Maybe the Rideshooter.
Some bikes I really really like and others do nothing for me. I think the ones with a very obvious gimmick would pull me in. Otherwise, I'd be afraid they'd never complete all 20. |
On which point I'm pretty glad with them just doing Kuuga. The first Heisei Rider's bike and by far the one where the bike is the most important? If they just stuck with that and maybe #1/#2's New Cyclone then... that would feel okay

Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika. Please give us Gaika.
Because we don't have a lot of choppers in Kamen Rider and that thing's a beauty in retrospect. |
I would like to order from the menu, uh...
A FRS Wizard... A Machine Decader... and, oh, Kamen Rider Ichigou in his original colors! |

It's probably going to be a main rider or a rider machine, since there's no P Bandai label on it
|
Definitely want the Hardboilder next.

Machine Decader is a grear choice, but idk. W, Faiz, and OOO were far more prominat using their bikes. Imagine we get an FRS Tridevendor before the seihou? That would be wild. |
Bandai would be insane not to keep making bikes. They're the perfect alternative to the tough sell that actual Figuarts bikes have always been, with a scale approximate enough to SHF that at least SS figures could ride them and not look at odds. (if the bike is a little oversized it's not that hard to notice, only if it's undersized)
Actually, if they could, can anybody who owns both post a pic of SHF SS Kuuga with the FRS Tri-chaser? |

Attachment 61319 The scale is definitely off, but from the right angle it looks fine. |
Oh, damn; I'm very happy to be proven wrong! Are there any balancing issues? Which hands are those; does normal Mighty come with them?
|
It's quite top-heavy so I'd want to be careful getting it into an action pose but with a couple of tamashii-style stands it should be stable enough.
This is the Mighty Form (Decade Ver) which comes with the same set of hands as the original release. I'm using the less open set of relaxed hands - second from top/third from bottom in this picture (not mine): http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zdT9J1MrMO...ert%2BTray.JPG They aren't dedicated holding hands but as long as you're not posing it upside-down they'll do well enough. |
Fantastic, thank you!! :) I was thinking I'd have to make do with FRS Rising Mighty on mine but knowing this can work makes me EXTREMELY happy
|
NP :)
I'm still deciding whether or not to buy another base form Kuuga to go on it along with my Rising and Amazing Mightys... |

Yup, it's a little oversized but not bad. Certainly a worthy stand-in. |
Built Fourze today and he's pretty good but those orange stickers are just a mess. They don't really adhere and they crease on the chest right at the center. There's orange on the runner, why couldn't these be separate pieces? Yeah it wouldn't be the exact shade but it'd be close enough for most straight-builders and anyone who paints will just have an easier time without having to mask.
I'm getting tired of Bandai's constant corner cutting. I get things are tighter but I'd honestly pay another 300-500y if it meant a better quality kit. The drill module has big, hideous stickers on the little silver section that easily could've been one in-set part. No stickers are included to back the eyes and they look really weird without them, so I ended up painting the white sections underneath silver. Aside from those examples the parts separation is actually fantastic with the black, silver, and white all being separate parts (on the main body) with no stickers except for the arm pits. It actually makes the lack of orange for the stripes stand out that much more. I also feel like the construction overall isn't quite as good as, say, Agito. The arms are double-jointed but the design really nerfs the lower joint, the hands fall off quite easily and the stalk for the ball joint is quite long and obvious, and while I got the antennae in without issue I've heard more than a few people have broken theirs. So yeah, good kit but frustrating in a lot of ways. The negatives aren't detriments so much as just odd drawbacks that only materialize in contrast to the rest of the kit being genuinely fantastic quality. There's even a gloss finish on the "hard" parts of the suit compared to the ones meant to represent fabric, complete with a gloss black runner just for the face alone! And of course all tat pre-painted silver. Makes me excited and worried for OOO, since I know a lot of details will be stickers just from the sheer number of lines on that suit. I'm actually thinking o getting Build and Zi-O as my next kits so I can get the "old" ones out of the way. Build in particular needs to be painted, and Zi-O uses stickers for all the solid pink, so those are both going to be pretty involved when I eventually get to them. |
Yeah Build and Zi-O are both pretty bad by today's standard. I wish the price of them would lower to match. They just don't compare to the new ones. I would honestly hold off on Build as long as you can and hope for a remake. Out of my collection of FRS Kamen Riders, he is the most unstable and has the weakest joints.
Regarding Fourze, those chest stickers definitely bring the kit down. They are just so obvious. I regret not painting them, but was not looking forward to attempting to paint the same matching colors to black and white parts. That's a nightmare. OOOs is supposed to come pre-painted, but there's only so much they can do, so I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath. Fingers crossed! |
