I want to say Germain is in reference to Saint Germain, a historical figure known for Alchemy and somehow immortal.

Would not be surprised tbh, especially considering I had to do a double-take when finding out Germain's name given Saint-Germain is an alchemist antagonist in Symphogear.

Gigist, I recall a few people I know mentioning theories that his name is derived from Hermes Trismegistus.

My guess regarding Gaelya is either that it's from "regalia", as in something for which the value is determined by societal norms rather than its properties, or that it's derived from the name of an alchemical symbol of some kind.

I could just see Clotho being injured and Tamami tending to her wounds & feeding her, until she gets kidnapped and both Gotchard & Clotho battle it out as she witnesses the fight.

Dread and new daybreak look amazing far better then dumb gaudy rainbow

So we're seemingly getting Dread Troopers (Idk if they're called that, but y'all get the idea), new forms for Gotchard and Daybreak surprisingly, as well as Geryon getting a Rider(?) form.

Personal thoughts:

The Dread Troopers use Dread's Helmet with the Horseshoe Crab Raiders chest and shoulders, and good golly they do not work together in the slightest.

The new Gotchard forms looks pretty nice. Daybreak getting one that doesn't repaint/remold any of regular Gotchard's suits is a legit shock since I did not think that they were able to use the budget for it.

Geryon's new form seemingly uses the chest and shoulders from Greese Perfect Kingdom. I want to see it in motion first, but from initial impressions it looks pretty typical

Anybody have thoughts on what'll be good creatures for Vistamps of Gotchard & Geats?

There's more to Riders than getting toys and form changes. Acting like a character is only good or worthy because they get toys is kind of childish.

Legitimately feel like despite people getting tired of the toyetic nature of Rider and asking for less toys, they still want to latch onto toys = importance to fulfill their own complaints. It's a double standard that needs to be addressed tbh.

Form changes in the show help show how riders get stronger

Sounds like that's on you.

Bandai figured out that only the Main Rider + Legend Rider stuff sells. Why do you think Valvarad only has two actual items specific to him? Not even his Rider form is exclusive to him because of the attachment being primarily shown off by Gotchard in its debuts.

Feel like this realization should've hit once we got to Revice where that shift really became apparent. The only real course of action here is to take it up with Bandai itself, not a bunch of strangers on the other side of the world from their operations.

I remember when we used to show Riders getting stronger by just them getting stronger, and also when new forms were actually organic to the storyline.

However, I will agree that Rinne and Spanner are underutilized, ESPECIALLY Spanner. It's clear that the writers just have no idea what to do with them at times, as if they have to come up with new reasons as to why they can't be involved in the episode's plot. It's a common issue that later Heisei and all Reiwa Riders have: the casts are too big.

I'll agree to disagree in regards to Rinne. I feel like she's been pretty solid in terms of her focus and she's been around more often than not. She has presence in terms of the cast.

Spanner though lol, yeah he's kind of just there. He gets his moments but he is not as entrenched in the ongoings of everything as Houtaro and Rinne are.

I do think it's a mistake to even lump the two together because Rinne absolutely feels like she has more prominence than Spanner in general. But also I think it's just insulting to say they're only "meat shields" is missing the point and it feels like a case of not watching the show if that's the takeaway.

The only REASON Rinne has any reason to be around is cause her dad is the creator of the driver

When do we see them AT ALL they need help each other or get help from people stronger then them

And when Hotro is around they get help with the gotcha brothers

Rinne is definitely much better off, but her storylines with Atropos and her dad have pretty much stopped and there's the recent two parter we had where they used an admittedly really fun gag to write her out of the plot. They also had that plot device where she had to charge her Alchemy Ring, so she couldn't even become a Rider until the winter movie was out long enough. Again, not nearly as bad off as Spanner, but they still have done some stuff to downplay her role.

See with this here I'm willing to attribute this to this likely being endgame/finale related stuff and this is also a weekly show. You gotta be patient and give it time. It's not going to come instantly.
