WAtching Kill La Kill and currently on episode 2, and oh man is this Anime all sorts of fun packed with action it's quickly rising up on my top 10 list. Wish I could've watch this sooner.

Stupid Gundam question but why do people call Kira from Gundam SEED "Jesus" Yamoto?

Two reasons actually.

1. He's a god tier Mary Sue (at least in Destiny, in SEED he's perfectly fine) who never does anything wrong and strikes down those who he views as evil.

2. He gets himself into three separate situations that are physically impossible to survive from and comes out of all of them alive against all odds.

Both suffer from different issues. Daigo was entertaining but stole the focus from the rest of his team, Kira was a fully fleshed out character when his series ended who later hyjacked the focus of someone else's story only to realize he had no where left to go.

Kira is fine in Gundam SEED, but my god I hate him to death in Destiny. It's like the writers did not know how to develop Shin so they made Kira the main star of the show again in between their 20 episodes of clip shows.

and that right there is the biggest problem with SEED Destiny. I still love it to death but god damn it has problems you could fly a Destroy through!

Gundam SEED is one of those rare instances where the dub is better then the Japanese version. I can't stand Kira's Japanese voice, when he cries it sounds like nails on a chalk board.

Started RIN Daughters of Mnemosyne earlier. First episode was good, but I don't understand why she decided to help that guy out in the first place...

There was a lot of fanservice, but at least it made sense from what was going on and wasn't forced in
