Ah. Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Makes me wish even more that the Tridoron was getting a retail release. I know Itassha was clearanced everywhere by the end, so maybe that's an indication it didn't do too well? Perhaps that scared Bandai off of high priced Figuarts retail releases.

I'm going for Thor first, as I doubt I'll have the money for MK 43 on top of other stuff, just to test how he stacks up to the Figma. If that goes well, then I'll go for the rest of the Avengers. I may just save a paycheck to finance Tridoron, it just seems like a must have as the second SHF car, and first for the Riders. And Luke...well, just cause.

Any chance if Faiz will get a renewal? I hear the original figuart was hit or miss. With Faiz being in the recent Spring Rider movies lately, I hope it's a possibly now.

I certainly hope Faiz doesn't get one before OOO or Decade. The original figure isn't perfect, but I don't necessarily think it needs a renewal just yet either.

Shinkocchou is an excuse to release the Riders figures using the suit actor's body proportion instead of some random good looking template.

Yeah, a Faiz Renewal would have to blow me away to justify replacing my current Faiz, especially since mine is the Glowing Stage set.


Decade, OOO, W and Wizard all need a Renewal first.

It's only been a couple years, but I'd really like to see how they'd approach a Shinkocchou Wizard. Especially how they'd figure out a good solution for the coat. It'd certainly be interesting.

Has anyone order from JC Collectibles before? I notice they have some good prices on Figuarts and Chase is still up for pre-order on that site if anyone missed the pre-orders on Ami Ami or NY.

I like the Wizard Figuarts more than others, but I'd be up for a fancy renewal down the road if they articulated the skirt like how the SICs have bee done.

(Even with that, yeah it's a much lower priority after stuff like renewal Kabuto Riders, Hibiki Riders, renewal Diend, renewal Ws, renewal OOOs, etc.).

I would love a renewal Wizard, but the current wizard isn't so bad provided you don't pose him standing still or in his piece of shit normal coat skirt. I mostly use the bonus kickstrike skirt that came as a preorder bonus because it just looks so much better being all dynamic than the default one which just makes him look chubby.

I'm just waiting for Kiva dammit, my old souchaku henshin kiva's metal parts have flaked so badly that it's just sad to look at :(

Also my black beet hasn't shipped yet either which I'm surprised since it's also bundled with the dragon lockseed which I'm pretty sure came out earlier, hope NY get on that soon, it's all SAL so it'll take a while to get to me.

Flame Style looks faithful to the show but he suffers from major QC issues. He's my least favorite figuart in my collection. If they can reissue him by fixing all of the QC issues or renewal him then I will buy it for sure. Flame Dragon and Infinity Style are already solid figures. No need to renewal those two in my opinion.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on N-Y to ship that Lock Seed and the Decade card set. At least they got my Black Beet in the mail.

Edit: Tridoron, Heart, and Cruiser (and the Cruiser/X two-pack) are up at N-Y.

Oh man Tridoron Preordered, most expensive Rider purchase ever. Even though I'd like to get Heart right now, it'll be too much altogether in one month and to be honest I expect him to pop up quite easily on mandarake or jungle, same with Drive's alt forms.

Which is great that the series isn't as popular as gaim, makes collecting so very easy going.

As for NY stuff no sign of Beet and the lockseed shipping yet, though my MP star saber did whoooo

Usually I wouldn't spend this much on one item that isn't a giant ass chogokin mecha but it's such a beautiful piece, the added fact the driver's seat can detach as a stand alone display is just icing on the cake. Plus I'm determined to get every Rider's personal vehicle in SHF form.

I'd also like to know when preorders for regular releases go up. I've always sorta stumbled upon them by accident when late night browsing and seeing everyone on here go PREORDERS GOING UP SOON GUYS etc.

@Thessair Oh man I've been shopping with NY for a while and I've never gotten a discount code :(

It's the discount system they started a while back. You earn XP from orders and you can eventually request a discount code. This is the first time I've had enough to request one. Knowing my luck it will end up being 1% or something ridiculous. :lol

I hope it's not something low like that, especially when you have to buy so much to get even close to getting a code D:

I've noticed this year is fffkin ridiculous for figuarts. I thought April was just gonna be my mad figuarts blowout but then all the avengers figuarts and luke are coming out pretty close to each other.

Yeah, this year is going to be rough. I don't imagine it will be much easier next year, either, now that we're proving we can generally keep up with the releases. Oh, the N-Y discount rate ended up being 2.5%. It wasn't even enough really to push the Tridoron price back down to MSRP. Still, I saved a few bucks. :shrug:

Shoot. I was hoping their discount program would be more substantial. Once they ship out my Star Saber/Black Beet/Ace Robot order I'll be up to 10 "experience points" on top of the other number and had been planning on requesting a code for a Tridoron/Birth/Tsurugi order.

The whole N-Y discount thing bothered me a bit at first, because I had a ton of orders before the change that weren't paid/didn't earn points for. Then I realized.. it's not going to worth much, and really any discount is nice. I cashed mine out too.. 2.5%. I'll use it on April's order if I can, unless it has to be a new order.. which I won't be doing anytime soon since I use a different middleman now. (nothing against N-Y either, great store).

It's part of their new system, you earn "discount points", which can be redeemed for a discount code.
