If you already got the Mew from Gamestop the code won't work, same as the recent Hoopa.

You'll need to sign up before June 1st, and the newsletter will be sent out sometime in June.

Think that's a cool thing to do since some people either don’t have a Gamestop in their area or in my case one in the whole city which runs out of codes either the day before the event officially starts or in the first 5 minutes of the story opening. G4 Pokemon got me back into the series since I did stop for a while after G3. So a remake would be cool, but I don't think it will happen until 2019.

Anyone hope for normal evolution for older pokemon? I feel a bit burn out by Mega Evolutions. I feel like not every pre-G6 Pokemon needs a Mega Evolution. I would be okay with some new Mega Evolutions like Mega Yanemga, Mega Flygon and Mega Golem. I would like to see Pokemon like Heliolisk, Arbok, Weezing, Octillery, Kecleon and Seviper get a normal evolution.

Oh I always hope for that. Jynx still needs one damnit.

I hope that Pokemon with only 2 stages of evolution get one more before jumping on the mega bandwagon.

It'd be strange for a Pokemon like Heliolisk to get an evolution...

I want Dragonair to get a branch evolution so it can remain pretty rather than become a derpasaur.

Heliolisk feels so unfinished. He feels like a middle evolution and needs to evolve into something bigger.

I remember the day that episode aired man, spent the whole day breeding Sevipers in hopes one of them was an Ekans... Never was i more disappointed.

I've heard that apparently Eviolite would prevent that by making everything too bulky hence why the only new evolution was an Eeveelution. Arceus knows why, if Eviolite was that big an issue they wouldn't have made it in the first place.

Under absolutely no circumstances does that make even a speck of sense...

I hate when I see HGSS get so much praise online and see BW and B2W2 get so much crap talked about them.

Sure HGSS did some cool things, but they also did some terrible things or didn't bother to fix some things that were bad in GSC.

I talk shit on Gen 5 for one very particular reason.
I didn't have fun.

Put plain and simple, they were the first Pokemon games to just bore me as games. The plot was a complete bore and too heavy handed for it's own good, and by giving N fucking 9 hour long monologues it felt twice as long as D/P. The twist was so predictable that I actually forgot that they were trying to set one up until it was revealed.

Gen 5, as games, were fine, I guess. They're main Pokemon titles, it's hard to mess up. But, as main Pokemon titles, they were a chore and just droned on and on. I give the series props for tackling an interesting subject, but by having the main villain just be generically evil (Also, look at him) and then turning them into terrorists in the sequel just bogged down the entire story.

HGSS was a recreation of my favorite gen, but with the better changes Gen 4 brought. It also changed enough to not feel like I was just playing Gen 2 with upgraded graphics, and just a ball of fun. Could this just be rose colored glasses due to GSC being my favorites? It's possible, I'll admit.

Gen 2's biggest failing is that it introduced so many boring and weak Pokemon. It really makes me hope that Sun/Moon introduce some straight Evolutions for Pokemon like Girafarig, Magcargo, Granbull, etc, as well as some Mega Evos for Pokemon like Xatu, Quilfish, etc etc.

And my god, don't even get me started on the ultimate space waster, Unown...

Yes Quagsire has been good ever since it got Unaware and Scald. The thing went up to OU recently on Smogon.

If I remember right, they found a way to boost Shuckle even more. I believe it used Ice Ball, and did over 1 Billion damage.

Rotom Pokedex had me excited, then I saw a clip from the Japanese site showing it being used in the overworld to the seeming effect of a very, very obnoxious handhold. (Showing a map and telling you where a building is in the town not far away at all.) That's a little lame and hope we can turn it off. Potentially being able to use it to communicate with other Pokemon sounds cool though. Edit: Oh, its description on the English site confirms that's what it does. YUCK.

I get the typing for Solgaleo, but still wish it were Fire/Steel heh. But both legendaries look cool in action.

Rotom Pokedex looks silly. I love it.
Solgaleo being Psychic and not Fire is strange, but I'm down (If I didn't know he had an association with the Sun, I would've never even assumed he was part fire to begin with). Also kind of disappointed his ability is just Clear Body with a different name.
Lunala being part Ghost creates stronger ties to the dream catcher vibe, so it's not too shocking. I hate how he's stronger than Solgaleo since Gen 6 nerfed Steel so that Ghost is neutral against it...
Region looks nice. Can't wait to play.
I hope the "Mysterious Assistant" turns out to be the villain and not just some ditzy girl that fangirls over you like in XY.
