So apparently you can scan QR code which will ad Pokemon to your Pokedex. ...I'd just like to point out that Yokai watch did the exact same thing first and that the boy in the illustration that shows off this feature kind of looks like the protagonist of Yokai watch. |

So anyone else think the tiniest island on the left will be the Post Game Fantasy Niihau where it's like Killoude City/Battle Resort/Battle Frontier? |
Probably not, they usually hide those things under the clouds.
|
I don't ever expect to use the QR feature more than possibly once.
There's something in the northeast corner of the map obscured mostly by clouds. Expect something interesting to be there. |
Pokemon using the 3DS's built in features? Clearly they're mimicking the genius of Yokai Watch.

I'm just sayin that it very similar how these two games use they're features and the way game freaks promoting it looks similar too. |

I think the best method is to turn it into a straight, actual time limit. 30 minutes. Go nuts. Run in circles, etc. |

And I want more Safari Balls. I want to have Ditto in a Safari Ball and have the Ball descendant Mechanic to work on Ditto where Ditto overrides and ALWAYS passes down its Ball design. |
The step limit wasn't even a limit.
You could just stand in the same spot, doing circles, triggering encounters, without taking or registering any steps. That's what I used to do anyway. |
My friend just got his Pokemon Go invitation for the field test. I'm so jealous. I guess the second wave of invites are out.

What's going to be sad is when Corocoro leaks and reveals everything meant to be first revealed at E3 for Sun and Moon.
|
There's not going to be anything for Sun and Moon "at" E3. Nintendo is doing only Zelda there.
(Emphasizing "at" because if they do any sort of direct or online only conference around the same time for other things then technically they didn't lie about what's at the event itself...) |

Meh, keeping my E3 expectations low across the board and not thinking they'll do much more than play the same trailers we've already seen. But it's just a few days away so we'll be finding out shortly. |
Neat, we finally got a koala.
|
Koala looks eh. I hope it evolves.
Dog looks cute. Totally gonna grab one for early game. Who knows, it might be like my Furfrou and tank hits well enough to stay on my team throughout the play through~ |
I will catch that Koala and i will name him Stitch. :D I love his ability too.
|
Looks like Corocoro isn't the only new info.
Zygarde 10% and Complete have been confirmed too. It also confirms that 10% transforms into Complete similar to Darmanitan's Zen Mode, which is disappointing tbh, but at least Complete's HP fully restores after transforming unlike Darmanitan. Complete also shows off what looks like a new move and it looks awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7cW0F4JMsc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeZ_8s_kWXg |
That’s cool but… where’s the 50% form? Why is it skipping straight from 10% to complete?
Wouldn’t it be better to give 50% a new way to Mega Evolve into the complete form, and make the 10%-form able to grow into the 50% one instead? Other than that, it’s cool that these forms finally appear in the games. The signature move of the Complete form is badass. But it’s kinda sad that this is debuting in a new generation, this form would be really epic in a Z Edition which takes place in Kalos and properly focuses on Zygarde. |

Zygarde's laZer move is called Core Punisher(Core Enforcer in English Games). Zygarde now has a whopping 4 Signature Moves. |

(Updating this particular post with notable things as they appear instead of new posts.)
Really liking the bottom screen in battle for Sun & Moon. Adding a shortcut button to get to Poke Balls is brilliant! You have a shortcut to move info and the attack list also tells you what moves are super effective or not very effective. And nice, the center of the screen is sprites of the two Pokemon. Tapping on them will show you any stat changes on that Pokemon. New Pokemon! "Yungoos". Some sort of mongoose. "Always hungry and gets more aggressive the hungrier it gets." Has a constant scowl. The catch screen shows there might be an evolution or "pair" related to that Pokemon (formes?). Conveniently cut away after they caught Yungoos haha. Bottom screen in overworld is just black screen until you get Rotom-dex. When you approach a trainer waiting to battle, the screen darkens at the top and bottom to show they're nearby and continuing on your path will have them challenge you. Pikipek appeared! That's the woodpecker wireframe we saw before. Per the dex, will have two evolutions. There's a guardian Pokemon for each of the four islands. (Fifth island is man-made.) Battles are part of the culture of the region. So in battle we can actually see spectators around us! Tapu Koko is an "important" name somehow but wouldn't elaborate of course. Hau picks the starter weak to yours. (LAME.) "Battle royale" game mode. 4 players, pick up to 3 Pokemon, battle one at a time. Free-for-all battle. First to lose all 3 signals the end of the battle. Once over, to pick winner, game tallies up how many Pokemon defeated and remaining. Highest total determines winner. |
You can see your Pokemon stats mid battle? Neat.
Yungoo! |
So a lot of it looks visually cool, but the more I think of the features being shown the more I just see handholding and that's kinda meh...
All the battle improvements I'm really liking though. |
Pikipek is freaking adorable.
So after you encounter a Pokemon once you get the information for type advantages the next time you battle the Pokemon, that sounds handholdy, but interesting at the same time. 4 way Pokemon battles!? Aw man sounds awesome! |
4 way battles sounds like they could be fun on this forum~
|
Well that was underwhelming…

need to see what that Pikipek evolves into. i always love the birds... |
Oh my god that insect is adorable!
|
Yungoos' Stakeout ability turns all attacking moves into Pursuit. It's moves power are doubled when the opponent switches out.
