Skill Link Woodpecker. Mongoose with Auto-Pursuit on every move. Average Regional Bug (so far).
|
The woodpecker looks fun. I'm curious to see his evolution.
Bug bug bug. So much opportunity in what it can become. Also, color me surprised that they haven't been teasing new Mega evolutions. |
Grubbin possibly becomes part Electric

Nendoroid Red Championship Edition is back in stock!
Think I'm still going to pass on it, but this is really good given how quickly he sold out the first time. Also, Amazon Japan has started allowing international shipping on select items (using DHL). One of which is the Nendo Red/Green two-pack. Can't decide whether I want to place an order at that high shipping or keep holding out for a Pokemon Center release.... |

found a Shiny Yanma in a Hoard this morning! :D
also need some advice- who's a better Fighting type: Hawlucha, Heracross or Lucario? |
Quote:
|
Lucario is kind of in an odd spot of being underwhelming as is, but his Mega is considered so strong that it's actually in ubers :p
All 3 of them are solid fighting types. I personally prefer Heracross simply due to being one of my favs. I also personally prefer normal Heracross over Mega Heracross, since Skill Link basically cements it's move set without much wiggle room (Yeah, you could disregard it's ability and run a different set, but you're wasting a lot of potential and coverage just to do so) |
New Sun/Moon info coming Friday (July 1)
|
Just give me a full pokemon list please
|
Minor stuff was revealed at a recent expo in Japan:
That new Bug, Grubbin, has 2 evolutions. The yellow-haired rat, Yongoose, has only 1. |
What kind of type combos would you like to see fro this gen?
I would like to see more combos with grass or bug types like dark/grass or elec bug. What about you guys? |
Well, aside from Galvantula, there's rumors going around that the starting bug, Grubbin, will evolve into a Bug/Electric type.

Getting into pointless semantics in Pokemon is kind of meaningless. |
Can't connect to the Wi-Fi due to maintenance.
Anyone else having this problem?! |
Been into the TCG a lot lately. Buying packs and collecting the cards, putting together a deck to use, and playing a whole lot of TCG online (with a version of the deck I put together in real life.)
The deck basically uses the bats (Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat) to spread damage counters for free from evolving and using Dimension Valley which reduces a Psychic Pokemon's attack requirement by one Colorless energy. But the main two of this deck is Gengar EX and Aegislash (which is also a Psychic type) from the Breakpoint expansion. Gengar can either give 3 damage counters to any Pokemon or attack for 60 damage while poisoning the opponent's active pokemon and switching Gengar EX with a benched pokemon. Aegislash, on the other hand, can either do 100 damage and place 1 damage counter on 2 of the opponent's benched pokemon or (the main use of this Aegislash) double the amount of damage counters on all of your opponent's pokemon. I also run an Octillery just to draw cards until I have 5 cards in my hand. |
Pokemon is one of the few TCG's I've wanted to try to pick back up again, but I just can't make a worthwhile deck.

According to Nintendo's site, it's not undergoing any maintenance, but I say give it a few hours. If it's still not up, then there's a problem. |

EDIT: Been over 12 hours, still can't connect. |

7 New Pokemon Revealed!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTt65qAkR84 Details about them Charjabug- Bug/Electric(Grubbin Evolution) Vikavolt- Bug/Electric(Grubbin Final Evolution) Drampa- Normal/Dragon. Has a new ability called Frenzy, it's effects are unknown aside from receiving a Special Attack boost. Bruxish- Water/Psychic. Has a new ability called Dazzle, which cancels out offesnsive Priority Moves like Quick Attack. Cutiefly- Bug/Fairy Togedemaru- Electric/Steel(7th Gen Pika Clone) Tapu Koko- Electric/Fairy. Has a new ability called Elekimaker, it's a Drought/Drizzle version of Electric Terrain. Also has a new move called Nature Fury, but it's effects are unknown. |
I really like these, especially the electric beetle and the dragon. I kinda hope the dragon is the first in this regions dragon evolution line, but it's already quite big.
The Pikachu hedgehog is the weakest among those IMO, it's just another Pikachu. |
Turns out the names are the English Names. Someone from Russia leaked the 7 new Pokemon before the new trailer dropped with their English Names.
|
So Nintendo UK have finally announced the shiny Xerneas event...
...as a con exclusive. All I can say is I hope the thing gets a wider release later, because if not that's a new level of shitty when it comes to modern events. |
|
SO MANY ELECTRIC TYPES YESSS! :D
And the regional bug does get evolve into one! Hell yeah I'm pumped for that! Will probably actually use it a log longer than I normally do. It looks pretty freaking badass to boot. The Normal Dragon is... Interesting haha. But cool we're getting one. Edit: Just read a brilliant theory that the four guardians of the islands, based off of Tapu Koko here, could form a totem pole. The Electric Fairy Pokemon is the spirit of the island Melemele, which is "yellow" in Hawaiian. Next three islands mean "green", "blue", and "red" so there will be Grass/Water/Fire Fairy guardians joining him. Super obvious what Tapu Koko is now when I didn't pick up on it at first haha. |
That fucking fish looks hideous.

Grubbish's final form is so awesome. I know we've had Pinsir since day one, but this is the stag beetle I've been wanting! I love it. He's so on my team.
ALSO MILOTIC The others are all looking pretty nice. Nothing really caught my attention as much as Vikavolt and Tapu Koko. I still enjoy them, though. |

The English Trailer has come out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE2N...ature=youtu.be It confirms the following -Reveals Rockruff and Komala who were shown in last month's Corocoro. The main site also confirms Rockruff has an evolution. -Tapu Koko's ability's English name is Electric Surge. It summons Electric Terrain when sent out. -Komala's is Comatose -Vikavolt has Levitate -Charjabug has Battery. It boosts your partner Pokemon's Special Attacks in doubles. -Drampa has Berserk and Sap Sipper. Berserk raises Special Attack when below 50% HP -Togedemaru has Iron Barbs and Lightning Rod. -Cutiefly has Honey Gather and Shield Dust. -Bruxish has Dazzling and Strong Jaw. Dazzling negates moves that target it that have Priority(Quick Attack for example. Most likely blocks moves used with Gale Wings and Prankster too) -Zygarde has Power Construct. It transforms Zygarde 10% and 50% into Complete when their health drops below 50%. Zygarde 50% can still have Aura Break and so can 10%. -Riding Pokemon is back. An image of the male trainer riding a Stoutland confirmed it. -Tapu Koko's new move, Nature's Madness is a renamed Super Fang. -Zygarde's Core Enforcer ignores the opponents abilities if it attacks after the opponent. |
Drampa's name in German is "Sen-Long". I like that a lot. I will have one on my team no matter how weak it is.

Eh, I was left super underwhelmed by riding Pokemon last time since it was only available in, like, 2 locations.
Anyway, Togedemaru getting Iron Barbs makes me hope for some solid defenses to make use of it, but I'm doubtful. |
