preordered Iron-Man and Agito, not going to pre-order deadheat it's just a lazy put together costume.
and man, the struggle I get to login in amiami:( |
HLJ has them back up, I just ordered.
|
Bleargh. I've got to start coming in late after these crazy order free-for-alls. I'm getting too old for that nonsense and being at work on time.
|
Well I managed to get in an Agito order just as I was about to give up.
|
I didn't realize these were all going up last night, but sounds like I'm better off. XD
I got Luke, Cap and Thor at Hobby Search, Hulk and Iron Man are sold out, but I'll keep watching them, see if they pop back up, and if not, I'll try to get them on Anime-Export, where they're still available. |

I kind of wish Bandai had split up the Tamashii drop into two; AmiAmi just can't handle a large amount of stuff going live in one night. This night was the worst it's been in a long time, but they've had issues with large drops like this before too (albeit not as bad as last night's). |
I miss out on Agito but oh well. Bluefin will probably release him, so I will wait when he goes up on Amazon or Image Anime. I pre-order Dead Heat in case if he goes up sky rocket in the After Market (which I doubt but better be safe then sorry).
|
BBTS has them up
|
So any new Rider figuart reissues besides Gaim Orange Arms?
|
Oddly iron man mk45 was open at AmiAmi and I just snagged one.
I also have him, Thor, and agito at hlj so I'll see how it all shakes out Hope cap, Luke and hulk pop up |

Well Image Anime has Agito up for pre-order for $45. I went ahead and pre-order him now. I plan to pre-order Wargreymon reissue later next week when my next pay check comes in.
|
Grabbed an Agito from AmiAmi. First time ive used them in a while
|
Have the Drive and Mach figuarts come out yet or just pre-order?
|
Drive is out this month, Mach is out in June.

Do you guys think AmiAmi will let me cancel my Chase and bike preorder?
|
I think they will if there is a demand for them (they can get the figs sold pretty easily) but they will be pissy about it and state that you can't do that blah blah blah. Just send them an email and ask; I've canceled with them before and it wasn't a huge deal.

Nowhere enough Black Beet pics in the thread.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psflxqy5qg.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...pshxm4adlz.jpg I get why people are down on the B-Fighter Figuarts, but I still enjoy them. I never had any problems getting Blue Beet to stand, and no problems with Black Beet either. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...pslsdxxav1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...pswozdeduu.jpg The wire is blissfully sturdy and doesn't feel like you'll break it bending around too much. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psd1ji4qnw.jpg They're not as good as they could've been, but I like them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps3ksdzn7b.jpg Also, if no one else picked up the Agito Burning re-release and was wondering about the shoulders, it appears they aren't prone to breakage on this release. I can move them around just fine, no tightness, scary sounds or stressing/breaking at all. Compared to my original release, nothing's broken but the left shoulder is super-tight and makes cracking noises when I move it around too much. I can't say for sure if the issue's been completely fixed, but the re-release I have appears much sturdier. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psdnypcizy.jpg |
I didn't feel the problems with Blue Beet, but I have to say I am somewhat disappointed with Black :( Decent balancing is a real struggle and the range of articulation hinders the best poses you can get with his accessories.
Still, can't deny he's at least one of the best looking Figuarts I own. |
Ah General Venjix of the Machine Empire, you sure do look good as a Figuart. :lol
|
Yikes... this may be only your pics Lbsammills51, but I don't like how you can see his "eyes" underneath the glasses. At all.
It's cool that you can see something underneath, but that's way to clear and way to easy to see, I wish the glasses were a tick darker. |

Oh you guys will not regret getting him in hand, he's one of the nicest looking figuarts I own, I loved how they did his eyes, just transparent enough to see the details but can still appear opaque enough to look like lifeless windows of EVIL.
Now I'm really looking forward to Stag and Reddle they'll look amazing together. I also kinda want the White armour dude whose Japanese name escapes me atm, though I'm unsure of how important he was in B-figthter so he probably won't get a figure :( |

Their reasoning for it is always the most frustrating. "Cancelling orders is damaging our business, yadda, yadda, yadda". I'm real sure you'll have loads of difficulty finding someone else to buy that Kamen Rider Figuarts that sold out of pre-orders within 15 seconds :rolleyes |
So... I guess I'm the only one who noticed that they "fixed" Ryugen Yomi, at least in the official pics. The purple lockseed is gone, nice.

I can understand it, but it's still a frustrating practice nonetheless. Some kind of doomsday counter or something would be nice. |

Does anybody know when Kuuga and Drive come out this month?

I'm really enjoying the Shinken Red I bought from XW1n5t0nX. The Firesmasher, I can't remember the Japanese name, is much lighter than I thought it'd be. But then I guess it almost has to be so the figure can hold it and not fall over. And I love the details of having the Lion Origami's legs move.
|
Shinkenred is a great figure, I really like the shinkengers in general, aside from a few minor gripes like my shinkenyellow having a cracked visor which sucks major balls. (It's fine from far away but the moment you get in all close up it's just crack central. ) They're overall nicely done.
Speaking of sentai figuarts, I opened up my newly acquired MMPRzyu pink ranger and my god the female sculpt is amazing, all the contours are nicely done and stuff like her skirt sculpt is amazingly done and doesn't limit that much, in fact the MMPR body is amazing especialy with how the shoulder joints are done. Which is why I find it weird that when it came to Kyoryugers whose shoulders were a huge pain in the butt in comparison and they came out well after the zyu figures. Actually do we know anything about the designers behind figuarts? It always seems important in other fandoms like with transformers or figma figures but when it comes to figuarts I haven't heard anything about them. |
