I have no interest with Pokemon Go. My old phone is broken, so I'm stuck with a temporary Iphone 4 and the game won't run on it. Not to mention, I don't care for mobile games in general. I use my Iphone to call people, texting, use Facebook, use Twitter and as a MP3 player. If I want to play games on the go, I have a 3DS to use.

So, turns out that my job area is teeming with Eevees. Awkward. And yet hilarious. I saw/caught like 4 coworkers wandering the place, parking lot and all, trying to find Pokemon. XD This is great.

Is it odd that there's a gym in a prison in a town near my hometown?

I caught 4 Rattata, 3 Venonat, Weedle, Spearow and a Nidoran F today. I also found 2 Eggs.

See I thought the same exact way, even when I downloaded it for a day, I was still "meh". Now it really is fun, catching pokemons out in the streets, parks, or even at work. It really has that nostalgic feeling to it, of course bugs and server crashes are horrendous, but it is to be expected when you have over a million people playing.

The best part is when you see other random people doing the same exact thing, it really has that MMO interaction feeling to it. "Hey your catching pokemon too? There's some in that area", "Hey! What are you looking for?, "Man... There was this squirtle over there...". I never thought it would be this great to be honest.

Is Garchomp a popular Pokemon in the community? I loved him in Gen 4 a lot, and he was on my team. I'm not sure if that's an opinion that makes me sound like a Pokemon basic bro like "Charizard is my favorite Gen 1 starter".

Because similar to Miltoic and Matrix, I think Garchomp is one of the best Pokemon designs ever. I'm not a competitive player, so I'm not sure if he is a stellar pokemon in that respect.

Too bad his Mega Evolution makes him look dopey, with the dumb eyes and changing his claws and wingarm to... whatever is on the end of his hand now.

Yes. He's considered better than Zygarde just do to his stat spread, he's incredibly powerful as a sweeper, and his popularity keeps rising as more dragons come out and prove to be barely half as useful as Garchomp.

They're changed to chainsaws, and no worries. In the competitive scene, Mega Evolving Garchomp is seen as unnecessary, as he doesn't need the stat boost, and can functions better with other items (While saving the mega evo slot for another Pokemon).

Also realized I was dumb and could collect stuff for being a leader yesterday. Fortunately Instinct took over again today (with a freaking CP 1800 Dragonite!) so I was able to go in with my now ~500 Pidgeot. Slowly ranking up. Just wish you didn't have to beat the opponents when training to get experience because that's impossible still.

But thanks to those new gyms around, got some weaker ones to challenge. Literally watching as they're being traded around and new Pokémon put in now that they just went live haha. Going for a walk later to visit them.

I really like Zygarde's 100% form. It looks super cool and I like the idea behind it being a giant from Norse mythology. What's the reason lore wise behind why Zygarde from X and Y not being able to form change?

Reason 1: They didn't think of it at the time of the game's creation.
Reason 2: There weren't enough Zygard Cells in Kalos for it to become complete.
Reason 3: The anime made something up again and the game team were like "Oh, dang, that's pretty cool for once" and decided to integrate it into the games.

What now?

Well, the anime makes shit up all the time (Thunder armor, Ash-Greninja, etc), so maybe it was the anime that came up with Zygarde Complete.
Highly unlikely, though.

Also, he gets slower when he Mega Evolves, which people see as a detriment.

Oh, I thought you meant there were Perfect Cel-er Zygarde Complete-type things in the games added because "the anime did it."

Remains to be seen if Ash-Greninja is an anime-only thing or just some early preview for an unrevealed new feature in SunMoon.

Yeah, apparently that's on the rumor mill with the crystals.

Went out to a Vulpix nest today. There were a few around us when we arrived, but thanks to the tracking glitch couldn't find them. Took over an hour before we found another, but finally did!

Wish the Charmander nest in the city weren't so damn far away in a central and popular location... Starter is still absolutely useless. :(

Speaking of starters, finally found a Bulbasaur today as well thanks to some incense buuut the game froze and it wouldn't reappear when I re-launched. Lame.

So, quick question for all the go players, what team are you?

I can't play Go, the game doesn't seem to work in Puerto rico considering the news earlier said they were petitioning to make the game work here.
