Um, why not? You should regret it. Haven't all the exclusive Gaim Figuarts been majorly expensive after release? Now you'll never get her. :(

At this point you can still pick her up on release for like 10-20 bucks more. Or find a pre-order, don't know if she's sold out already, because I don't care about that figure. Literally the only Gaim-suit I hate with a passion. And I'm not paying the Web-Exclusive pricetag for things I hate, even if the figure looks good.

I'd pre order Marika, but unfortunately I gotta start saving up for convention season.

Which is why I still don't have Gridon and Kurokage... They pop up on Mandarake often enough but never below 7000 yen and that still just seems way too high.

At least that's not ridiculous Shin Zangetsu price. In fact, that's not really much more than what they cost me with middleman fees. It's not great, sure, but it's not terribly unreasonable.

The preorder period for Marika closes on the 20th, so people have less than a week to figure out if they want to get her now and where to secure her from.

I don't like the tire on the shoulder of those last two designs. Feels like some arbitrary kibble tacked on to make it look car-y, but it just looks dumb to me.

Though I wonder if I'll feel differently when I get around to watching drive.

I had this thought a while ago, but now that I look at Mashine Chaser again: I always felt like the body-proportions of the figure are completely wrong, especially in the abdomen. The transition between the torso and the lower body is fluid in the show-suit, but here the abdomen is much smaller. Of course, this might be due to the articulation, but that just looks wrong to me. Like he's wearing a corset.

I was initially set on completing the Energy Riders since I already have the half that have been released but now its been so long since Gaim that my interest for them has kind of dwindled. The only one I am for certain interested in is Lord Baron which has not been announced yet. I am definitely having second thoughts and may go back and finish them but I guess I'll have until the 20th to decide at the latest although the price of exclusives has definitely made me less impulsive. I'll most likely save my money for figures that I know I want for sure.


On another note, Rider Mach and Ride Macher look nice! I didn't pre-order them since I haven't seen Drive yet but maybe if I can find them for a good price after their release second hand, I may go for them.

Mach and Chaser look great. I am far less impressed with Dead Heat and Wild. Especially Dead Heat.

Mach looks amazing, that is a must for me. Mashin Chaser looks great too. The Drive ones look pretty good too.

I'm more excited for Mach and Chaser than Drive himself tbh lol.


And IIRC, Kuuga should be coming into retailers this Saturday, right?

Outside of Vader and STs, nothing on there excites me at all. In fact, the more time goes on, the more I continue to wish I hadn't been able to preorder the Drive stuff. UGH!!

For a moment I thought about getting it for the stand, but it's a branded one so meh.

And I do believe it's a good figure, I just have no interest in it whatsoever. I would rather buy Base States to have a good representation of Fourze for my cabinet, but even for 10 bucks I'm not sure if I want it because of that belt. I can feel it turning to dust just by looking at pictures of it.

Still... He's the least exciting of Fourze's forms and he only has use of half the Module Ports. My only real priorites are Base and Cosmic.

Is it really that badly designed? Fourze was my first Rider and is one of my favorites, I really want a decent representation of him. Especially so I can pose him and Meteor (who I also need) with Super-1.

I just heard a lot of people having either breaks or nasty cracks on the driver, and I can see why. But if you like Fourze that much... it's only 10 bucks, go for it. If you have a pre-order open on HLJ just stuff Fourze in your warehouse and you don't even need to pay extra shipping.

I can't really spare the 10 bucks right now though... I still have to either get someone to buy Vader off of me or suck it up and cancel him and hope Amiami doesn't decide to arbitrarily ban me for it, and I've got Cure Melody to pay off this week.

I don't think AmiAmi bans people who already ordered like 3-4 times and want to cancel one. Just come up with a story how you can't spare the money because of an accident in the family or something, say how sorry you are and that it won't happen again and in the worst case don't read the rant they send you with the confirmation of you cancellation.

Also, the sale lasts until the end of the month, maybe they still have one by then. And if you really really really want it, like your life depends on it, a friendly user around here

Could just buy it, store it in the warehouse and you buy it of from them later on for the discount price + shipping. Inside of 6 weeks, they don't hold items longer.

I have not had problems with the Driver breaking on any of my Fourzes. The only problems I've had are some of the modules don't stay in very well on some. And it varies by module.

I'm tempted to buy an extra Base States, just so I can display a few more modules. hmm...

It's kind of a shame that Magnet is that cheap, that nobody likes him enough. he looks great, but he really is the second worst form Fourze has (after Rocket States, blech).

Yep! I got my alerts that Kuuga and Iron Man Mark 43 are ready to ship. Huzzah!

Though I think I'll wait for Vader and the Stormtrooper to come in before I ship them. Does AE combine orders? I don't even know. Haven't ordered this much from them before.
