Well, if you think about it Goranger was exactly that with curry rice. I actually cooked up curry rice one time after seeing an episode.

With most of them its that they werent so extremely literal in how they were designed. Even the Suhsi Changer was abstract enough to work for me. This thing is just a straight up Burger and I just cant see past that.
