Started working on MG Sengoku Astray yesterday night. So far I only got the head built.

The Build Custom backpacks are designed so that any kit that has the polycap hole on the back can connect to them. It should work without altering the kit itself. |

Dalong has a great example of the backpack integration in the Dark Matter pack review |

Not to double post, but shiny sticker + sunlight = epicness.

Started on the MG Build Strike last night. This is my first experience with any of the Re-Master based SEED kits and it's glorious. Started late last night and already got the arms torso and head finished up. This thing is beautiful.
|
Built the white HG F91 the other night.
It's very solid, just as articulate as the HG Build Strike. A lot of you can probably Imagine what I wanna do with it. |

Now here's what I did since last night! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...0/716/pnx1.jpg This is a really really fun Master Grade. Just have the basic body done but I'm beginning on the Build Booster and weapons now. |
Went ahead and just powered my way through kits today. Completely finished Build Strike Full Package, figured I'd take a whirl with the Universe Booster. Very impressed that is has the (few) additional parts needed to retrofit a Build Strike into a Star Build. There's enough of a difference between the two forms that I'm definitely gonna buy a second Build Strike to display both.
But anyways, here's the Star Build Strike Master Grade all finished up! I don't panel line or use non-show labels generally. I like my stuff to look stock. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...0/835/pbbk.jpg |

Anyways, my MG Build Mark II arrives today so I guess I'll flip a coin on what to build next. It, or my MG Sengoku :D |

While my interest in gunpla hasn't waned, my will to actually build had. I completely cleaned up my office/work space and moved some things around to see if the cleared area would help incite that old feeling. I finally hunkered down and started something, anything really. The MG Shining received my energy. I usually like to work my way down from the top, so no legs till probably tomorrow. What rituals do you guys find help re-instill that old feeling? |
Well damn. I guess I was more driven than I thought. My MG Build Mark 2 was only delivered this afternoon, and I already built the entire body :lol
|
Can anybody help me get a new part for my MG Build Mark II? I need a new M1-19 part. Mines's broken :(
It facilitates connecting the Booster to the MK II itself. I've contacted a few parts replacement services but apprently no one knows how to confirm my account via e-mail yet so I'm stuck. I've built the entire kit and as much of the booster as I can but can't assemble the booster without this part. I know on occasion you can find the same part on different kits. But I have no idea where to look for this one at all, or if it even exists in other Master Grade kits. |
I beleive GG Infinite does a parts replacement program.
|
I went through them and Genteikits. So far no response from GG at all, and Gentei can't even send me the e-mail to confirm my account, so I can't even start using the service.
|
Oh well. I wound up hashing out a deal with a friend on twitter. We bought another MG Build MK II. Gonna split the kit with him. I keep all the parts for the Booster, meaning I have extras for custom work and I have the piece I need, he gets the Gundam and all it's weapons.

So some help they were. On the other front I need to pick up a few more Master Grades. After the excellence of Build Strike & Build MK II I'm on a roll! So I'm looking for a few things. If anyone has any of these MG's unbuilt then please let me know. #67 Perfect Gundam #87 Gundam F91 #96 Strike Noir Gundam #100 Turn A Gundam #124 Guntank #136 Victory Gundam/Core Booster/Hexa Set #152 Duel Assault Shroud #160 Buster Gundam #164 Tallgeese "EW" version #172 Gundam 3.0 Version #173 Strike Rouge Ootori |

Took some photos of MG Sengoku Astray today after deciding not to put the decals on for now. Just wanted to share how awesome this kit is!

I love Akibaranger, but at times it can be a bit insulting. |

Build Fighters 1:
Reiji is awesome, also yeah...it does feel a bit like Akibaranger, and there was a Macross reference at the beginning! :D EDIT: 2: Wait...so what that old guy said...Reiji is legit a Newtype?!? 4: JUSTICE NOOOOO!!!!!!! D: |
Even though Sunrise has a lot coming up with Reconquista and Origin. It looks like there are talks happening, for Build Fighters Season 2! :D

So anyone here playing Gundam Breaker?
It's a little grind heavy and repetitive but man, the kit bashing feature makes this game fun. I just finished the last story mission myself. |

I got a store like that:
https://www.facebook.com/AnimeXtreme.ca?ref=br_tf Back wall is nothing but Gunpla, it's glorious. Prices are pretty decent too, high grades usually run me about 20-30 depending on the box size. |
Quote:
The only local shop that carries Gunpla here is freaking HobbyTown USA. And their prices are so extortionist it's outrageous. They still want $95 for an MG Inifinite Justice they've had for 3 years. Upwards of $80+ for nearly any MG. HG's that regularly run 30-40. I'd carry them for customers at my comic shop if I could. But my distributor rarely if ever carries gunpla anymore. The Thunderbolt HG's seem to be it. My boss and I are however working on setting up a Bluefin account though to hopefully alleviate these issues. |
Quote:
I'm sorry if I sound bitter, but everytime I read about people getting cool stuff and being upset with price I get a little sad. You guys get to have that choice. I don't since my family insults everything. |
So I just finished this bad boy:
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7259/...355b448d_c.jpg The clear swords are from the HG Valvrave if anyone's wondering. |

There's a crapton of places around here that sells Gunpla but I keep going back to AnimeXTreme because they're prices beat the rest. It usually equates to retail plus price of shipping.
I think big box high grades like the Sinanju will cost around 50-45 but smaller ones like the Sengoku or AGE kits will be 30-19. They carry Bluefin stuff too for a small 5 dollar mark up. |
