So I got through 3 episodes of Blade. I'm not entirely sure why people consider this slow, unless I've yet to hit a really slow curve. There's already tension, and it's building with everyone, so I don't see any real problem so far.

The lack of a proper explanation for anything is why I considered it slow. The first couple episodes was just "Undead!" and then fighting it. It wasn't until Isaka that I would consider Blade's story to pick up.

I wouldn't call that slow, but very confusing.

After watching Wizard, I decided to give W another chance since I disliked it at first. I definitely like it a lot more after the first few episodes. I'm up to about 40 now. I also tried watching a bit of Kabuto, although it doesn't seem like my type of show at this point. However, I'll watch a few more episodes because if it's anything like W my mind will do a complete 180.

Once you get to when the spider undead shows up, it's a road of awesomeness.

Tonight's viewing was OOO Wonderful, which was pretty good. Like most modern Sentai/Rider films there were a bit too many "THIS WAS MEANT FOR 3D" moments for my liking, and the all combo change at the end came a bit out of nowhere. But that was awesome so I can let it slide :lol

BuraKaWani is damn cool though.

BuraKaWani is a completely awesome combo. Shame that it's only used in that film though. It and TaMaShii are utterly forgotten :( That battle at the end with all of the OOO combos was the most awesome thing that's ever happened though.

I always found it strange that OOO's movie only forms always magically shift during scene changes (Such as TaMaShii being changed to TaToBa after his magic taichi, or Super TaToBa changing to TaJaDor after beating the villain).

Actually the shift from Super TaToBa was also back to TaToBa. He didn't use TaJaDor after winning the battle in space.

EDIT: His immediate reversion from Super is back to normal TaToBa. TaJaDor is after that so I don't really see what you're getting at.

I know Super has wings, but Super also has green legs, a yellow body, and a red head.
The black on the legs with the red guards means he has to be using Condor, and during the descent you can see the TaJa Spinner on his arm, meaning he's using the Peacock torso medal (I'm not screen capping it because it's a blink and you'll miss it and it's covered by the scrolling credits).

So, I have a 900GB external hard drive that holds ALL of my Toku. Never had any problems, but today it's stopped responding & freezes my computer whenever I try to open or close it. So right now, for all I know, all of that may be erased or corrupted. This is how much I may lose:
-All of W including Movies, Specials & MV's
-All of Kabuto including the Movie
-40 episodes of OOO plus movies
-21 episodes of Blade
-8 episodes of Wizard
& on the Sentai side of things:
-All of Shinkenger including Specials & Movies
-40 episodes of Gokaiger plus Movies
-35 episodes of Go-Busters
And not to mention all the other files I have on there.*

Well, at least I've watched them all before (just can't RE-watch anything).

Finished up OOO today with the last two movies I had to watch. First was Let's Go Kamen Riders (or as I'm going to call it from now on All Rider Scouts vs Shocker) which was pretty good I guess. New Den-O's actor does absolutely nothing for me and it was a little bit too silly for my liking (not to mention how it just left the timeline is tatters at the end, but oh well its non-canon) but it had a proper anniversary feel to it which made me smile.

Finally there was Megamax, and now I can see why you guys were making such a fuss about it. Pure brilliance from start to finish.

Aqua and Poseidon figuarts now please?

I just finished up Kamen Rider Wizard episode 7.

When Manami was explained on what she was doing to Shunpei, Wajima and the Donut guy, I thought she was a prostitute..... yeah don't know why that thought popped in there.

I thought Haruto was going to use the smell ring to copy Manami's scent and lure the phantom into attacking him. All it did was force the phantom underground due to its sensitive nose and have Wizard do a badass Rider Kick with drill combination.

This series has its comic relief moments but its not all serious like Kuuga or silly like the Imagin sequences on the Den liner in Den-o.

See! Megamax is completely brilliant! It's easily the best rider movie I've seen in some time.

W Forever is better, but I'm just not a fan of the sectionmented movies. Regardless, You can thank Koichi Sakamoto for both. He's great at these big movies for Kamen Rider.

Quality wise, I'd put Megamax up top.

But my personal favorite is still either Let's Go or OOO Wonderful.

Agreed. Quality of story and execution would be Megamax. Sheer awesomeness makes it Let's Go. For me it's:

3. Final Countdown
4. Neo Generations
5. God Speed Love
6. ZO

Watching Fourze to try and find the episode where Meteor shows up (Don't tell me which one it is guys, I need an excuse to waste time :lol ). I've seen videos of Meteor's DX belt and the DX Galaxy, and after loving Wizard's belt so much, I can't wait to see Meteor's in action. I still hate the extreme silliness of Fourze, but I find it more watchable now than I did when it first came out.

First of all, they are both great and well made Kamen Rider movies. I'm not arguing that. That said, here's why W is the better movie.

1. Megamax is segmented. While it hides it way better than the others, it's just not a good way to pace a movie. It stop a 3rd of the way in for something completely different. A to Z is a full movie that flows like a movie.

2. A to Z is an almost completely stand alone movie. The only continuity bit is Philip's mother, which is explained easily and well in the movie itself (I'm not counting Nevers because this is the first time they appear). The OOOs segment of Megamax assumes you've seen the ending of OOOs. If you've seen little to nothing of OOO, it's a confusing and boring 40mins. If you know nothing about W your still going to have fun.

What it boils down to is that W Forever is much easier to picked up and watch even for someone that doesn't know jack about Kamen Rider. That's the sign of a superior film. If I only had an hour and a half to get someone hooked on Kamen Rider, W Forever is the winner.

while i love a to z (if thats what your talking about) there are some major things that are affected by knowing the show, theres not even an explanation of where the t2s are from unless u saw the series, then the whole fuuto tower thing affected the show

I love A - Z. But for me, with Rider movies, alot of the Den-O movies are just better. I'd rather watch any one of them over rewatching Super Hero Taisen.

I just finished episode 21 of X Rider, the final appearance of Apollo Geist. that guy went out like a total boss, definitely one of the all-time great Rider villains.

I just thought A-Z was such a boring mess of a movie. For me at least it wouldn't even go in my top 10 rider films. But again, I'm not someone who was enamored with W. I watched it while it was ongiong and had to quit around episode 40 because I was just so utterly bored. Picked it up about a year and half later to finish it out. But the movies for W (outside of Begins Night) really don't do anything for me. A-Z had forgettable villains, I know everyone says they were great but I really don't see what's to love. Even Eternals' design was boring. The Extreme Gold upgrade was pretty underwhelming. There were just so many factors that led to that movie being unenjoyable for me. I'm really not trying to hate on W by any means but I really did find this movie to be about as bland as the series itself.

i liked it because it was NOTHING like w, i liked how dark it was and not the goofy mess the series was
