No clue what's inside exactly (hoping for Ryu, Kuma and Houou Voyagers) but I pre-ordered it anyway. Did special edition cases of other sentai minipla also contain only one copy of each individual mech?

Yeah, this is the second iteration of the Kyuranger "Glister Injection" set. The first one came with one all of the first nine Voyagers. I expect this one will contain the remaining Voyagers manufactured the same way. (This'll be great because my SP KyurenOh would look a lot better combined with a Ryuu Voyager from the same set.)

Thanks guys! I usually just use Tamiya paints and a Gundam Marker for the panel lines.

Also anyone got a clue on fixing looks shoulders on the Hebitsukai Voyager? I think I strained its shoulder-arm joint too much and thus isn't as tight as it used to be.

According to AmiAmi, Series 06 will have 6 boxes.

Did I already mention how much I like these minipla kyutama? I know there are some skill kyutama in the same scale for candy toy versions of the roleplay toys as well but how likely would it be for these to also get glister injection treatment?

We can see a prototype moraimars robot and mini kyutama skill set.

Line up consists of 6 boxes :
Moraimars (2 box) (As far as I can understand if the robot sells well, we should expect more enemy robot in the future (please do Balgion from Bioman in super minipla version !)
Mini kyutama skill (2box) (8 mini kyutama)
Nothing is tell about the rest, but we can expect kojishi with 2 box IMHO.

Now I just wonder what set 07 will contain since it seems like it only comes as a 12-box set.

I have to say, the purple on that Glister Injection Ryu looks really good in the pictures. I won't be picking it up though because I already got the regular one.

Line up is 6 box, but is only selling on amiami in 12 boxes (usually in those cases, there is 2 complete set in the box, even if they write "Assorted according to maker's rate from 6 types.")
We do know for sure 4 of the 6 boxes, and we can expect kojishi voyager for the last two box.

Too bad that they didn't do a box set like other release...

Hmm, if that's the case I might wait to find them separately on Mandarake or something. Though having multiples of the monster robo but the others I don't. Haha. I'll wait till we get pictures of the set before deciding though so for now I'll keep my pre-order with HLJ.

Not open yet actually. Says it'll open at 1:00PM on the 5th, so I believe that means midnight tonight for EST.

I was surprised to find that the Super Minipla Titanus will require 2 AAA batteries. Wonder why they didn't use that as a selling point. Either way, he's too pricey for me so I'll just keep waiting for them to make more Sentai Robos like Daizyujin instead.

I've fallen behind (only have up to Ryu) but might try to pick up Orion. If there's a glitter injection Ho-Oh maybe that too.

I believe Go-onger was the first with a bit more articulation. Not 100% certain though. I can tell you that they got much better with ToQger, at least in my opinion.

Is there an official explanation from Bandai on why they hike prices for Super Mini-Pla?

In the case of Titanus, I can sorta see it with the fact that it does have that motorized gimmick. Could also be the fact that it actually uses paint apps instead of stickers too.

I feel like ToQger is when they embraced the fact that they could make much more articulated Mini-Pla for people who wanted that and leave the DX figures more simple for people who wanted that. I remember being disappointed with Kyoryuger's Mini-Pla because of how close they kept to the DX figures, so maybe that was part of the change.

I was looking into it, and I know they offered improved articulation as early as Magiranger with MagiLegend, but I don't know if the other mecha in that line, or any series before that were treated like that. I know Boukenger and later were all cool.

Not official, but my theories about the factors are a) some painted parts, b) more variety in sprue colors?, and c) they know older fans will pay more for classic mecha.

I would hazard a guess that the production runs are smaller, so they have to raise prices to cover the cost.

Oh cool. So if I were to guess, 1 moraimars takes 3 boxes, Kojishi voyager takes 1 box, and then the extra kyutama are 4 per box (2 boxes total). That would mean you get 2 morairmars, 2 kojishi voyagers and 2 of each extra kyutama in a 12-box set. Might be worth keeping my pre-order if it means I end up with two evil mechs for the kyurangers to face off against. Haha.
