You know I'm really glad they brought back the old Genm Suit even if it was with slight modifications. This will be interesting though.

But to be honest Dan's main motivation was to complete Kamen Rider Chronicle, once he gets control as Chronos then his dream will have come through. Him screwing Emu over a salty grudge so long ago was mostly a side victory he could get while completing his game. Like he was satisfied with leaving Emu unable to transform before so if he had the powers of Chronos I doubt he'd even care about the grudge at that point.

First of all, Drive's final boss/big bad didn't debut until AFTER Type Tridoron, second, have you SEEN how much people love Dan? Not because he's the main villain but because he's possibly the biggest meme lord in the franchise

that's the problem, you love this person and you dont care about how much it screws up the story, they are characters i like but i can move on for the sake of the story because im not obbessed with them.

That's a pretty big leap in logic. Unfortunately we'll have to wait and see, not to mention a common problem with media with multiple villains is that the first exciting villain gets axed and the second isn't nearly as enjoyable as the first

Dan has literally never done that.

They did move on to a new villain. His name is Parad, and considering how he's going to become Lvl 99, it doesn't seem like he's going away anytime soon.

Why would they come up with new villains? Replacing the main villain halfway or later in the show is almost always unnecessary extra work for writers, unless they planned the switch out beforehand. And sometimes it doesn't even deliver that good of a payoff.

While I'm not a fan of the fact that it is another Ex-Aid remold suit, the shoulders and coat tails do help give Chronos a bit of an imposing silhouette. The completely black eyes also help.

Them hiding Chronos' identity is making me think it's not Kuroto....I mean, that reveal would be sort of anticlimatic if it was.

The fact that Chronos is shown attacking other Bugsters should mean something. But they're all part of this game scenario, so it mat not mean anything other than they don't give a shit and will take on any and all opponents.

They did the exact same thing with Sigurd, however. Not to mention, they're hyping Dan-as-Genm-Level-0 as a good guy.
So it is, in fact, likely the same set up as the time Dan was infected with Charley...only drawn out over a few episodes.

Then again, Dan has every reason to hate the Bugsters by this point (and the scans do say he wants revenge on Parad), and he wants to be the ultimate game master - not the extinction of the human race. So I can see the clear-cut humans vs bugsters set up becoming a three-on-three battle royale, wherein any two sides might temporarily team up to fight another.

Yeah, but in Gaim, Sigurd was small fry in the long run, plus Sid was more shady than evil leading up to him becoming a rider.

As far as the whole "Dan being infected" thing, I think we all knew a betrayal was coming in some shape or form which is why they didn't bother drawing it out.

Well If Dan is going to be Chronos I hope they don't pull the Charlie scenario again, because that would be lazy writing. They also already did the Sigurd thing early with the original Gemn and how they didn't tell us his identity till episode 5.
I don't have a problem with Dan being Chronos it's just I don't want them repeating same old plot threads with Dan that they previously did with him.

because he might drop it and someone who has a chonicle gashat can transform into chronos like taiga, dan probably was trying to become chronos but he didnt transform with it either because he doesnt have a chronicle gashat on him.

And now, a brief history of Genm identity speculation.

Yeah, I kinda want off that speculation train, at this point I think Ex-Aid has proven that whatever it's gonna do will work out just fine. I will be somewhat surprised if it's not Dan though, given the trend of not-twists listed above.

Also unless it turns up in more scans, I'm starting to get a little worried/annoyed about the BangBang Tank form, after they canned the Taiko No Tatsujin and Ganbarizing forms. Like I know this is the point in the show where the budget starts to dip, but I hate when they make collectibles without showing the corresponding form, even in Ganbarizing (looking at you, Ishinomori Eyecon).

Ah well. We should start seeing movie stuff in next month's scans, right?

I mean even then the Ishinomori Eyecon was like one of two Eyecon's that never got an actual form showcased. I think the only other was Ore Specter. Other than that Ghost was good about showing all the Eyecon's as forms in some way or another.

We still know what the coat looks like thanks to Ganbarizing and the Da Vinci DVD Special advertising. That's what I meant by my post. But yeah they did cancel some Eyecon's for the Winter Movie.

I've always thought the two 'canceled' eyecons were Shinsengumi and Tenkatoitsu. Mainly because Tenktatoitsu has Specter's standby sound, which implies to me that they had plans for it pretty early on, as all the other non-show ones defaulted to Ghost's. Ironic since Ghost ended up getting that eyecon anyway.

But anyway. There's a little tiny scan of Bike Action gamer on the wiki, so more scans should be coming soon.

I think the Snipe Tank Shooting Gamer will be remolded version from Snipe Simulation Gamer. Hmm...I think Snipe Tank Shooting Gamer has longer cannons like tank on cannon gauntlets and has continuous track wheels on armor.

Hmm....maybe Snipe Tank Shooting Gamer will be appeared in Ganbarizing Game like Ghost Da Vinci Damashii.

Nothing else real interesting, but apparently Bike Action Gamer is level 0 for some reason? I'd guess it's level 0 when Ex-Aid uses the Proto Bakusou Bike gashat in it's original form, and gets upgraded to something more logical (probably level 4) after it becomes the "Combo Revival version".

Also, The Buggle Driver 2 has unique finisher sounds for it's two weapon modes. That's a nice upgrade from the original!

Hmm..the Ex-Aid Bike Action Gamer (Proto Bakusou Bike + Mighty Action X) armor is reused armor from Lazer Chambara Bike Gamer.

I'm only on episode 20 so I don't know if much changes, but Gemn's motivation is kinda..poor. I mean in Giam you had the bad guys trying to save the world/get an apple to become a god. Drive the machine viruses wanted to take over and i think be like people. Ghost you have a guy from the ghost world trying to save his entire race. Then in Ex-aid the man just wants to make a 10 star meta-critic video game.

So the man was a egotistical psychopath who thought of himself to be a game master god...who wanted to create a perfect game (a ultimate virtual reality you could say)....still kinda iffy motivation there. Now Pallad, I'm waiting to see his true goals.

If you haven't reached the current episode (29), then if Kuroto Dan's motives disappoint you, so will Parad's.

I think the reason Kuroto's motives are fine by me and why I love them a lot is basically the theme of the series. This is a Game Rider Series, and how does this entire conflict start? Some dude was being extra salty one day when someone made some idea's that were just as good as his.

Yep I agree. I bet Kuroto felt threatened in his young age because he thought he was the only video game prodigy out there until Emu drops something of equal or better quality thus kickstarting his twisted sense of survival as the one and only creator of games.

Don't get me wrong, I love this as much as I did Giam, and the motivation works. For a video game theme.

They're meant to be like the Kurokage/RioTroopers. But their design, as some have speculated, is based off of Goombas from Mario Brothers.

I can see that, being like goombas, just my brain went right to, "hey it's Giam riotroopers.

Also I've learned Pallad's motivation and it's exactly what I expected, and I'm okay with it. Granted im on episode 26, but I'm stilll watching.
