After seeing Fluttershy flying. If they laughed about something completely unrelated to Fluttershy and she shut down, the two might be less horrible. But no, they exist to laugh at Fluttershy for 5 seconds and that's it.

Isn't there a brief fanon that has the G1 ponies as the parents of the G4 ponies?
Mainly through Twilight's mom (What's her fan name, Twilight Velvet or something?) resembling G1 Twilight, and popular fan theory having Firefly be Dash's mom?

Okay, so A Canterlot Wedding. My verdict?... It's okay. Now it did get a little cheesy from time to time but all in all it wasn't a bad arc. It's no where near the level of awesome that was the Discord Arc but it stands on it's own as a good arc for twilight with a very interesting villain in the form of the changelings and think there's something to be said about an two part adventure arc that doesn't rely on the Elements of Harmony as a magic "FIX EVERYTHING!" button.

And now so that Sideswipe doesn't ask me about it later. I kind of felt that the writers were pulling a "HOW MANY SONGS CAN WE FIT INTO A SINGLE STORY?!?!?" kind of thing here. Kind of feel that BBBFF was a bit too upbeat for the tone they were going for. As for This Day Aria was a tad over the top and while interesting in execution, I didn't really care for it. Now for Love is Bloom, I liked it. It had a sense of closure to it and fit perfectly to the scene it was match up to.
