The leaks seemed to have become more verified since it included one of the recently revealed trainers, too.

Seems like they've been hinting at this Exeggutor form for quite some time now.
I wonder if some devs have been going back and reading old Pokedex entries to come up with ideas :lol

Considering they have a lot of material to work with, then yeah, I'd like to see more subtle callbacks like this.

Considering each gen at least has new entries for each Pokemon, they have so much to pull from.

I see a lot of people upset that all the Alola form pokemon are all so far based on Gen 1 pokemon or The leaks saying they are all Gen 1 based .

Is this a fair criticism to throw at Game Freak? I mean, there was Gen 1 pandering in X and Y with Charizard and Mewtwo having two megas, but there were at least Mega Pokemon from other Generations.

The problem comes when you look at it from all angles.
In XY, you get a Gen 1 starter about an hour after you get your Gen 6 stater, and you get their mega stone, as well, and prior to ORAS, Gen 1 had the most Mega Evos (ORAS promptly changed that by doubling the amount Gen 3 had, though :lol), and a multitude of Gen 1 Pokemon were readily available (Not really a fair comparison to make, since past gen Pokemon are always available, though). So now with Sun/Moon coming out, and featuring special versions of past Pokemon, and those special mons are exclusively Gen 1, it can start to feel like they're pandering to the crowd.

My God, I just realized that Bug/Dragon Flygon is possible now!

While Pokemon GO is making a lot of money, I don't necessarily think it is going to make the sales of Pokemon Sun and Moon skyrocket. Especially with these new forms, people are probably going to be turned off that their favorite Gen 1 pokemon either has a stupidly long neck, turned to ice, or something else. And most mobile players are notorious for not paying shit for anything, so buying a 2DS and a $40 is going to turn off a lot of people.

After watching this trailer, I kind f want to play Black and White now that I'm interested again. Is it kind of late to jump on the bandwagon and those games, or should I just wait 5 years for a remake?

To me, X and Y were uber disappointing, but this stuff looks interesting, but if Sun and Moon has a sucky postgame like X and Y does then I'm out.

Honestly, X and Y are my favorite games. It was just pure fun from start to finish, and the first time I got interested in team building since Gen 3. The post game was lacking, but that's not really my main interest.

As for whether or not Sun/Moon will have a bad post game, good luck finding out. With a simultaneous worldwide release (Except in Europe, where it comes out 5 days later), you'll either have to wait for someone to get a copy early to leak it all, or delay buying the game for about a week.

Should be noted though, the same leak had Ninetales' new form as Fire/Fairy rather than Ice/Fairy. While the leak definitely seems credible and most of these are probably right, some of the details may be a little different.

Anyway, suuuuper pumped for all this new info. All of it is amazing and looks and sounds amazing. The ice type Alola forms look great, and Exeggcutor is so ridiculous I can't help but love it. HMs seem to be gone, which is great. Gyms too, also great. And the new mons are also great. This is the first batch of SM news that really has me wanting the game. It's shaping up to be the most unique game of the series so far.

And with the final starter evos leak appearing to be confirmed, I am jumping ship allllll the way to the Popplio camp. It's still too early to say, but I really want Popplio, Salandit and Lurantis on my team.

I do hope the leak has some wrong info, then...I'm so sick of fighting getting all the love, especially when Ice is the rarest type.

As soon as that rumor was dropped, I was disappointed about Litten, but excited over Popplio and Rowlet. And seeing as how 90% of the players will be getting Rowlet (Meaning Rowlet won't exactly be difficult to get my hands on), Popplio quickly won my heart. That final form rumor is just icing on the cake.

I guess for someone whose favorite Pokemon is Milotic, it's not exactly surprising :lol

Well, it's the first evolution idea for it that isn't shit, so I'm holding onto that (As well as Mallow appearing in the Litten evo artwork)
Also, I don't know if true or not, but there seems to be a buzz that the person who quote-unquote revealed that also leaked the alternate types (I can't find any truth to that, though).

Basically, I want Popplio's evo to not look like shit, since other starter evo ideas look either like they were drawn by a 15 year old edgelord, or a humorless 30 year old.

If the leaked artworks turn out to be true it’ll be pretty easy to pick a starter for me. Cure Mermaid Popplio is a big nope for me, same as Wrestlemania Litten. But I really like the idea of the archer Rowlet and it looks pretty cool.

They are all fake. Even if the ideas proved real (wrestler, archer, selkie), the artwork is 100% fake, it always will be. Even if it all turns out 100% real, the artwork will be 100% fake.

Don't kill the excitement! My definition of Delta species comes from the TCG and that Pokémon fan game: Pokémon Insurgence. Which in that game, Delta Pokémon have new typing and looks.

Well I've had an eventful day.

Been feeling more into Pokemon for the first time in forever as mentioned earlier, been wanting to get my living dex up to date before Sun and Moon came out. At this point all I really need are the Gen V event legendaries, which shouldn't be a problem, but I've missed out on the Gen VI events too so...

Managed to get two Hoopas off the GTS (one for me, one for a friend) for some extra random shiny legendaries. Then while I was trolling the GTS for random legends to try to trade for a Kyogre I got a couple of shiny Heatran for an Omastar and a Metapod, because what do I know the GTS is weird. And while I'm leveling up an Omanyte in the Safari I run into a shiny Audino...great! It's great how that happens now, after I spent who knows how much time looking for one back in 2013, and after I went out of my way to breed myself one two years ago.

Also going through my stuff this is the first Safari shiny I've gotten since like February 2014. Man did I ever fall out of the Pokemon wagon.

Went all the way to Gamestop to get an Arceus plush, which is a big deal because the closest Gamestop is about a 10 minute drive one way and I don't have a car, so I have to bum a ride off someone with a minimum of 20 minutes of spare time.

And they were out of plushes. I didn't want to order one online because I didn't want to spend a minimum of 5 extra dollars, but I caved and did so because it's the one "Exclusive" plush that I wanted most (The GS in question told me that they only do ship to store for game pickups, not toys and apparel :\)
