Gatack could need a renewal. I won't mind if the imagin figuarts get a renewal. Momotaros is not a bad figuart but I feel like he could need a upgrade.

I think all that's needed for Momotaros is a new head to put on a repaint of Negataros. I don't have Negataros, but I believe that was a new figure.

Possibly. I also got the Skull Crystal version if that counts for anything. Really, my biggest gripes with the W releases is the inaccurate headsculpt, the black joints that stick out like a sore thumb, and the fact that the Joker side isn't a matte finish like in the show.

Momotaros is not a bad figure but I do agree that his head needs a upgrade. Urataros needs a upgrade too. He's not a bad figure but he lacks paint and his head could be better. Can't comment on Kintaros and Ryutaros since I don't own them. I hear Negataros is a pretty solid figure. His head and body looks better then SHF Momotaros.

The decade release from years back is horrible.

My Figuarts Drive is preparing to ship from N-Y. The good thing about paying it off so long ago is now it feels almost free. Haha. A belated Christmas gift from my past self. Excited to get my hands on it. That figure is looking really great. Love that suit.

Also super excited to see Decade get a renewal. The old figuart has not aged well at all. That's a renewal I will highly consider purchasing, depending on what else releases around that time.

So, I've had some time to compare original Kuuga and Renewal Kuuga, I've started working on a gallery and review, so I'll hold most of my thoughts until that's done.

But for now I will say, every minute I spend comparing the two makes the Renewal look better. In almost every single way, Renewal Kuuga is an improvement.

It is amazing, and makes me think I need to get Renewal Kabuto as soon as I can (so far, I haven't felt ANY drive to get Renewal Kabuto, but if it's THIS improved over the original, then everyone needs it).

Renewal Kuuga looks amazing. The old SHF Kuuga looks like a kids toy compare to the new one.

I definitely need renewal Kuuga and Kabuto.
But dammit, I haven't picked up an SHF Wizard and onward for my main riders, yet...I don't know which to prioritize...

I miss out on Kabuto 2.0 since I didn't pre-order him on time and he end up selling out fast on other web sites. He's no longer on Amazon.com and other websites for a decent price. I hope for a possible reissue.

I expect you could find it on Mandarake. I didn't pre-order Hibiki, but found him there for close to retail, maybe even a little cheaper.

All these nice Kuuga pics almost make me wish I liked the series enough to buy it. :lol

For me, I think the most pleasant surprise on Kuuga is that the jewels on his cuffs and anklets are actually clear plastic. Looks great when they catch the light just right. Also, the compound eyes are absolutely beautiful in person.

So which other figuarts do you guys think should/will get renewals? We're kinda at that point where nearly every outdated main Rider is being accounted for and I can only think of a few that absolutely need the modern figuarts treatment, namely W, OOO and Wizard. Den-O was ahead of its time even when he was released and I think Fourze and Faiz still hold up fairly well, even if they aren't as immaculately detailed as, say, Gaim. Nothing feels off about either of those in my display.

Drive is back up for order at AmiAmi, if anyone missed him when he was first put up.

After Decade, they can renewal W, OOO and maybe Wizard. I can see them doing renewals of the secondary riders like Diend, Gatack, Accel and possibly G3. I hear Faiz is pretty hit or miss since I see people saying that he lacks paint, his head is way too small and his thighs are too big. I still like to see renewals of Momotaros and Urataros with a better head and new body.

Oooh. That means invoices will go out soon enough.

I just order mine at AmiAmi. I'm glad that I did since I didn't want to pay for scalper prices or wait another year when Bluefin releases him in the US.

Like I said before, it's not really about what "should" get renewals to Bandai. Shadowmoon springs to mind. But if I had to ask to for something I'd say the other forms of the Riders Shinkochuu Seihou's already given us. Putting new Mighty Kuuga next to old Dragon, Pegasus & Titan Kuuga or new Kabuto with old Hyper Kabuto doesn't seem like a good fit. But that's definitely asking for too much at this point. Plus they'd never do it.

Not gonna make much difference to shipping. It's Vader that's bumping the order up because the preorder bonus is about 3 times the size of the figure. I got my payment request earlier for him and Drive and it was either 3800ish yen for SAL parcel or 4600 for EMS. No other options available.

Yeah, that Vader bonus sounds like the big killer. I've got Vader, Drive, the Gaim Gaiden BluRay, two Stormtroopers, and Iron Man in my box and my EMS shipping was only about $45.

EMS for Drive alone was only about 1000 yen for me.
