I just got my drive today. His waist is loose to the point he can't hold a pose that needs the weight on it. Guees I will have to heat and pop the joint to get some future in to the ball joint.

My Drive's waist is a little bit loose too. Not quite as bad, I don't think. He can hold a pose just fine. It's only when I shake the figure around a little. Might also be because his upper body is a little bit more heavy than usual with that big rubber tire.

So AmiAmi's crapping out on me....again.

Recently Ninninger has been doing very well. Ratings are up and it's been beating Kamen Rider and Yo-kai Watch in toy sales (although to be fair, neither have had major releases like Ninninger has).

But yeah, it's hard to say what they should do when it comes to Figuarts. We've basically had full team releases before, all of the male Gokaigers went up for pre-order at the same time and the girls opened as exclusives not long after. All of the Kyoryugers were shown at once too, with the other four members being sold in double packs to make the releases as quick as possible.

If people still won't buy them like that, I don't know how a big 5-man team pack would do any better, even ignoring the cost factor.

Meanwhile, a movie exclusive female Kamen Rider sells out instantly.

Exactly. KR fans are willing to shell out money for representations of their favorite/all of the riders from a show, whereas sentai fans are content with mech, RP toys, and the soft vinyl figs. I love the SHFs (and would instantly get a Deka Gold if she was made, lol), but people like me are in shorter supply than needed and that stinks. I understand Bandai not wanting to take the gamble on producing figs that won't sell (looking at you, Boukenger), but I wish they would consider going the webshop exclusive route for all sentai releases from here on out. That way, they know that every figure they make will be sold. No need for a clearance sale later or having a ton of figs in their warehouse.

Not really, but AmiAmi's system crapped out anyways thanks to all the various stuff going live at once, so if you stayed up for the start of the drop you were stuck waiting for their systems to sort themselves out anyways.

Yeah, I forgot stuff was going up last night and I managed to get everything pretty easily. I ended up having to get Kivala from Hobby Search, but I got the effects pieces fine from AmiAmi. Off topic, but I am really tempted by that Gunbuster, too. Grah. Never enough money.

I figured out as long as you can get the stuff into the cart, you are pretty much safe for an hour even if the item has been listed pre-order stop.
I only need Kiva-la and turned out ok after 45mins of painful wait.

I can guarantee you that is not the case. Kivala probably just closed and reopened 2 or 3 times over that 45 min period.

Odd. I've had items in my cart ordering at AmiAmi before and when I could finally get to the check-out it refused to let me place the order saying there wasn't enough stock.

I'm glad I put in backup orders at amiami. HLJ's system was crapping out last night too, but eventually I got an order in for gunbuster...except its still not showing up in my orders.

I was too busy watching Avengers Age of Ultron last night to get on an pre-order Kivala. :(

It was worth it, though.

I've seen recent preorders for Gaim Kachidoki Arms; maybe it was a stealth re-solicitation? I don't know; the same retailer also started taking preorders for Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form, too.

Not sure which retailer you're referring to, but there's no official listing or announcement for it, so that stock is coming from elsewhere.

Kiverla is up for pre-order on both BBTS and Image Anime for around $40.99. I think she will go up on Amazon soon. Bluefin does not seem to bother to announce Rider figuarts on their page now since Agito was never announced on their page and no sign of Kiverla as well.

"Broken head" Blade just arrived at my door - WOW! Love this guy. Highly recommended for anyone who still needs a Blade figure in your figuart lineup! :)

Does this Blade come with different accessories than the original release?

Does he really only come with a broken head? I was realllly tempted but cant be paying premium prices for just a head D:

I still wish that they reissue normal Blade instead. The whole broken head gimmick idea seems like a waste to me.

I don't have the regular release, but if I remember the discussion here from way back, he actually comes with one or two items less. Hopefully someone with the original release can chime in here with specifics. Personally, I feel the novelty of the broken helm outweighs the cons, but your mileage may vary.

Yeah, just the broken head. If you own the original release, I can see how this could be an easy pass for some.

What I would have loved is if they released the.joker undead and gave it the broken helms as a bonus.

Just checked the Shishioh galleries. Besides only having the broken head, it is missing the lightning and shattered stone effect parts.

Huh, you're right... The last Rider thing they posted was Kuuga. Well based on the BBTS price, it does look like they at least expect Bluefin to bring over Kivala, so guess I will be able to get her afterall once Amazon lists her.

I don't know what's going on with Bluefin announcing Kamen Rider figuarts on their Facebook. It would be nice for them to announce on their facebook for fans who don't always follow fan sites like Tokunation and Henshin Justice. I remember when I was a new Kamen Rider fan, I didn't know what new figures where coming out. I would always follow Bluefin on Facebook when I first got my S.H Figuarts in 2012.
