But Ryan.....why? MMPR is just....so....great! At least think of them as Zyurangers. And what are they going for? Market rate? I'm missing a second Pink, Green & White. Got a Zyuranger Tyrannoranger on the way from Amazon along with Fourze Rocket States.

Last I checked Green is still absurdly expensive as is Pink. Red seems to be a little pricey but not as crazy. Black, Blue, and Yellow seem to be the ones that have stayed close to retail.

That's starting to change, though. Blue and Yellow are hovering around the $80-120 range. Red is getting up there too. Oddly, Tyranno is still relatively fair in price. Black is around $42 on average, but I don't expect it will be that way for much longer.

TigerRanger is about $60-80 depending upon where (and if) you find him. Which is about what most of the Zyurangers go for, being Premium Bandai and all.

Armor MMPR Red/Armor Dragon Ranger is still at a decent price on Amazon. I guess I should try to buy him soon before he goes up in prices. Sentai figuarts are rarely on my top to buy list. Sadly I miss out on the other MMPR figures due to time and money. I would imagine MMPR Red/Tyranno Ranger and MMPR Green/Dragon Ranger could be reissue in 2017 when the new movie comes out. Tamashii Nations and Bluefin will probably want to cash in on the hype of the upcoming film.

I found Tiger Ranger for 3500 JPY on Mandarake. The box was "damaged" (brown shipping box) and the ox with the art on it was dusty.

Speaking of MMPR figuarts, I finally have the core 6, went with the yellow female body because I have more attachment to MMPR than zyuranger which I haven't watched yet. I'm not sure if I want to get the white ranger though. He's quite expensive and it's odd that he's the only one I really think more of as a dairanger despite not having seen the show.

Also because he's expensive.

I'm just not really a Sentai fan. Most of them have been just too kiddie for me. I was mostly enjoying Shinkenger and Gekiranger, but I stopped watching both in the high teen episodes, for no apparent reason. I just couldn't stick with DekaRanger after that horrifying babysitting episode, especially with Ban yelling all the time, Hoji yelling at Ban all the time, and Green standing on his head all the time. It just came off as dumb to me, and I couldn't take it.

On the other hand, despite not being a Sentai fan, I loved Akibaranger.


I got $100 each for the US and JP versions of Green, got $150 or something for my second Pink, sold the first to KamenRiderOOO here for $50. Yellow and Blue I haven't put up on eBay yet, but looks they're suddenly going for around $80, as people stated. White hasn't sold yet, but I think it's going for around $80-$90. I can hook people up with sub-eBay prices for Yellow, Blue, White, Red and Armored Red if needed.

You can still get Black on Amazon for $40-ish, so grab it now while you can. I'm tempted to buy one and sit on it for a year and then flip it for mad monies. ^_^

Despite disliking MMPR, I kinda want to keep White Ranger, he looks really great, and has a much better design than the MMPRs. I might keep him on display until the day when somebody decides to pay top dollar for him.

I got my Figuarts Drive in the mail today. As I was handling it, I felt something fall off, bounce off my chair, and land on my dark rug. No idea what it was. All the shift cars on his belt are in place, and the shift car on his wrist is there. This there maybe supposed to be a clear panel over the face of Belt-san? (Belt-san had fallen off - it's not quite so bad as the WizarDriver - so that's the only thing I can come up with.)

Any ideas? I have no idea what I'm looking for.

It could be one of his elbow or knee pads. Check there to see if anything is missing or off. Belt-san doesn't have a clear piece over it.

One of the elbow pads was loose in the package when I opened mine. It's not a shape that screams elbow pad to me, I had to examine the figure very closely to figure out what it was and where it belonged. I thought it was just a broken piece of plastic, originally, like off of the tree of parts.

Anyway, it's very tiny and black. If that's what it is, Good luck.

He's also slightly shorter then the others if scale bothers you.

I'm not a stickler for scale when it comes to figuarts, s'not like they stick to that in the show's either haha.

Just got my big figuarts haul today, since this is the toku thread I'll just go on about Drive.

This figure is sublime.

Holy crap it's so well sculpted, the paint pops realllly well and all the details are amazing, I especially love the shift cars, they're so tiny but they still have the most intricate of paint jobs, those two stripes on the type speed shift car, goddamn. For a normal line release these figures are getting better and better. Man this is making me want to think about getting the other types as well now.

Not odd at all. I've complained a lot about Amazon lately heh. For whatever reason (when they actually do list them...), they were listing Figuarts release dates as being the same as the Japanese releases for a little while. But they've always arrived to Bluefin about a month later. So their original availability estimate was always wrong. Compound that with dock strike issues earlier in the year and there have been considerable real delays in items shipping, even factoring in the estimate errors.

To answer your question then, no. Nobody has. Though Bluefin did just show they received their Vegetto stock, so I think it stands to reason that other April items shouldn't be far behind and Kuuga will arrive soon.

Edit: Okay, might be a little off but didn't just want to erase everything for posterity's sake. Just checked Bluefin's Facebook posts and they even said Kuuga should have arrived in April. Which doesn't make any sense, because they of all people should know it'll arrive later. No clue when they started saying the same month as the Japanese release. So Amazon's error would seemingly be on them instead.

Thanks, ryan and Asakura! Once I knew what I was looking for, I was able to locate it.

It's a terrific figure, the tiny, easily lost pieces aside. The question of accessories aside, the figure is remarkably beautiful, and it can move.

Yay, congrats!

Yeah, I was really impressed with Drive. I sorta preordered it on a whim, cuz I haven't watched the show yet, and I don't know how much I really like the design, but I thought I needed just the main form so I could have all the Kamen Riders.

But having it in hand, it's so good it convinced me I want to get the other Tire thingies that come with the other figures (maybe not the effect parts that come with the bikes), and Mach and Chase, and probably Type Wild, and maybe some other forms too. Although that one that looks like Drive and Mach combined? That shit is fugly.

Very true, but Tyrannoranger is the only one holding the low end. All the rest of MMPR save Zack are on the upswing.

I finally got my Drive Type Speed in the mail.

I like him quite a lot actually, I dig the smaller packaging it seems more economical to me, especially considering Drive himself doesn't come with a lot of accessories.

I like the Tire change gimmick quite a bit, but I'm worried about how the Type Speed tire will survive over a long period of time with multiple uses.

Nah, man, if you're interested in White Ranger, let's talk. I need money more than I need another Figuarts. I've got plenty of Kamen Rider Figuarts, I won't notice if White is gone.

And I'm totally willing to sell to forum members for below ebay prices. I only try to get eBay prices on eBay, and so far, it's not happening for White, so he's still available.

It seems like that they are still receiving shipments behind normal time frames due to the effects of the strike that ended 2 months ago. The strike cause items to be push back like my SRC Getter Robo Getter 1 from November to January. I had to canceled my pre-order Shin Nigo at the time since I got sick of waiting and I end up getting him months later anyways. I order Kuuga from Image Anime and they haven't got their shipment on the item yet. So maybe either later this week or next week we will get the item from Amazon and other retails that carries bluefin items.

I actually got a email from amazon telling me to reconfirm that I still want Kuuga. I think they honestly have no idea when they are getting theirs, though it did tell me to respond by June. The estimated delivery date changed from temporailry out of stock to not yet available to me.

Got that a while ago. It's a consequence of everything else we said. Incorrect initial estimates and delays whose cause we know. Whenever a preorder date is missed Amazon sends that out.

Dude, we're just finding out about the other October exclusives. Give it a few days at least for either the toy mag scans or an official announcement regarding October's Tamashii drop to come out.

EDIT: Ok looks like, from Twitter, Rider 3 is retail in October and...another 2/Cyclone maybe?

That would actually be Nigo, before the Shin outfit. Are they releasing another one? Because this looks a lot darker in color than the other old suit version they did in 2013.

Oh god I can never distinguish these. I was initially thinking Nigo because we already had an Ichigo with bike not too long ago, but then I remembered Nigo has red gloves, but yeah, that's the Shin one.

Looks like an original Nigo with Bike then. Seems to be a retail release in October since he's shown next to Sango on the Tamashii-homepage.
