I finally hatched a shiny Amaura. And. I love him.

He's so pretty.

Added to the shiny Zangoose I hatched last week (and the Snivy, Koffing and Buneary I hatched prior to that), my shiny team is nearly done. I just need to get some luck on the Mareep/Onix front.

Starting a couple of other breeding projects since I'm so close. Trying for Starly and Cranidos next.

Also glad that Alolan Raichu gets a special move. Please don't be a physical attack, though. Raichu's special movepool is so much better and I hate training a mixed Raichu just for the power and accuracy of Volt Tackle over Thunder...
I also can't wait to see what other unique moves there are. I want more unique moves that better exploit unique traits of the Pokemon that aren't really brought up outside of Pokedex entries and other flavor text!

Alolan rattata is amazing, I do hope they are going to alolan variants for most of Generation one at this point.

I want to see a couple Alolan versions of other 'Mons. Kalos, especially. Those 70+ Pokemon need a little more love :lol

I would so too but they seem to be just doing generation 1 so far, not sure what I would want to see out of Kalos alolan pokemon though.

I do know I want some form alolan eveelution.

Alolan forms for the Inkay, Noivern, Helioptle, Florges, and Goodra lines would be neat~

Yeah I could see all those working and now that you mention them I really want those over just potentially having all of gen 1 in alolan varaints.

I mean the ones we have now are good but what are they going to do with stuff like Voltrob line or the Magnemite line?

Hence why I want them to branch out. I love Magnemite, but it doesn't need a new form. And I think a slug like Goodra or a squid like Inkay (Or an octopus like Octillery) could be a lot more versatile than more Gen 1 Pokemon.

True that and or maybe just full dragon Goodra but then that would remove the theme of the silly looking dragon thing they do with alot of dragon types.

Would love to see Alolan Grimer and instead of pollution monster it would be some sort of swamp monster.

Type: Null looks really weird, but I like it. Jangmo-o seems like the first step of this regions 2 evolution dragon Pokémon. Alola Raticate... nah, I don't like it.

The 12 hours apart thing is kinda weird, considering we don’t know how long days and nights are in this game.

Aether Foundational are the real baddies, aren’t they? They hired Team Skull as a dummy. Or maybe Team Skull is bad, but these guys are worse. Lusamine is Lillie's mother, 100%. Didn’t we had a leak saying Sun & Moons baddies made the artificial island and that the boss is Lillie's father/mother? Seems like that was legit.

And you collect Zygarde pieces huh? Neat, but would've been better in a Z Edition (or in X & Y) and some random dude gives you the container? Okay? Or are they detaktives in disguise or something?

"Ultra Beasts"? The supporting Legendaries? Neat, although that jellyfish Pokémon looks bad.

It's the duo from XY that would update your PokeDex.

Ultra Beasts? So considering that there's no Pokémon League because THIS IS ALOLA BITCH!, and neither the Box Legends or Tapu Koko have been refered to a Legendaries, perhaps that's just the Alolan term

And Type: Null. Calling it now, if you transfer a Missingno. to Alola it becomes a Type: Null.

New Pokemon look neat. Type: Null's name is rather curious...I wonder what the in universe (And out of universe, for that matter) explanation is. Jangmo-o looks neat, also looks like it evolves, so I hope to see that.

Also, while I'm not surprised things will play out differently, I am that the games are naturally set 12 hours apart...What a strange decision...

I'm sure Pokemon Box will prevent Missingno. since it's not an actual Pokemon. Glitch Mews on the other hand...

There is a day/night cycle and yes if you're playing Moon you'll just be time shifted 12 hours ahead. Sounds really annoying actually.

And I do not ever, ever expect them to actually allow Missingno. to be transferable in anyway. Popular idea gaining steam but not one I'm going to buy into at all until (which is again IMO incredibly unlikely) it happens.

Type: Null's name is weird. Dark!Raticate looks not-good. Pokemon Snap, however, I am up for.

You can encounter multiple looks for Missingno. ranging from the pixel block to Fossilmon skeletons.

It limits the inherent ability to cause drastic item duplication. Plus Missingno. was incredibly slow.

Okay, I got to ask, what exactly were you all expecting from Raticate? Because this was basically exactly what I'd figure it would be, but you all seem to have been expecting something else.

Something to emphasize the new mustache, a larger design change a la Sandslash, and not giant, puffy cheeks.

I did amend that Missingno.'s speed is abysmal.

The helmet inhibits the item duplication power while also cutting speed as a side effect.

Personally, I agree with AgileSiamang. A fat bastard Raticate commanding all the little evil Rattata is pretty much exactly what I was expecting.

I wonder if the new Jellyfish Pokemon could be apart of a new Legendary Trio like the Lake Guardians or Legendary Birds?

My theory:

Lusamine, Lillie, and UB-01 are all connected. Lillie, as a young girl, encountered the first UB. The two of them became quick friends, until something caused the two to drift apart. Years later, Lillie becomes the leader of Aether to find her lost friend, taking on the code name, Lusamine. Unbeknownst to her, UB-01 has returned, taking on the form of its first human friend, and taking her name: Lillie. I mean it can't just be me who thinks Lusamine looks like an older Lillie, right? If not her relative, the resemblance is uncanny.

Go! is going to have some sort of functionality with Apple Watch. Still haven't outlined it (listening live) but I'm assuming it'll function like the Plus peripheral.

Ah. Actually it does more. Plus is just supposed to alert you I believe, but the watch will do that and help with step counting and getting stops without having your phone out. That's cool yeah but as an Android user... Kinda bummed by it.
