Oh man, I forgot how much of a pain in the balls Infamous was. I'm on a new district called the Warren, fighting 'Transients' (which are just redressed Reapers, how lame) and as this is an entirely new area, I'm dying just going to missions, as about ten guys stand on every roof. Even when you take territory, it just stops them respawning, so you still have to go out and clear them all out yourself first, before you even get any piece.
It's a pain in the ASS and unnecessary drags the game out, as you're basically forced to play hours of side missions and fight hordes of enemies just to be able to even freely move to a story mission. |
Gonna replay Curious village.

One more battle for the 7th Day on Devil Survivor. I also picked up my first Professor Layton game today, so once my battery is recharged I'll see what this series is all about.

It hasn't even been one day since beating the final boss of Tropical Freeze and I'm wondering if I should try to get the last four relics. (I have the ones from Worlds 1 and 2; plus the one for when you beat the last boss)
While I'll admit what I wrote was out of frustration and anger I'm not sorry about it at all. I'm dealing with a lot of crap right now and I need to vent. |
Metroid Fusion - I played through this game yesterday and today on the Wii U and I'm not sure if it is because I have not played it in 7 years or if the VC version is harder, but the last portion of the game got really difficult. The bosses like the spider creature and Nightmare were just extremely cheap as it seemed like each hit would take at least 2 energy tanks. Story wise, it is okay, and it does seem like it would take place after Other M even though it was 8 years prior, but I don't like how they lock you out of being able to 100% the game after a certain point. It was nice playing it on the TV again since I haven't had the Gameboy Player in years but honestly, the game is quite weak. It is not a bad game, but it being the sequel to Super Metroid, it is vastly inferior, which really takes away from it. The music is hardly memorable and some of the bosses are cheap rather than just challenging. OVerall, I give it a 6/10.
And that brings an end to my Metroid saga playthrough. It was fun to revisit these games again and I hope I don't wait another 7 years to replay through some of them again. Until next mission... |

Played a bit of theatrythim final fantasy, got annoyed when i found out that the IOS version has characters that i want to add to my party. Like Tifa, or Auron.

Professor Layton is so addictive, and the game is charming as hell.

Those games reminds me of pc games i played when i was little that my dad would buy. So it's a nostalgic feeling. |
Infamous is still unnecessarily difficult and surprisingly glitchy, dragging out every mission through frustration. I had no idea I still had so much of the Neon District left to take over, even after beating Sasha. Still it's nice to actually be able to play my game again, anything is better than being completely stuck, right?
The Trashmen Conduits are cool, if not a tad annoying to actually fight and Cole's powers are still fun to use, especially now I have rockets, even if it's annoying constantly having people run into your line of fire. |
Chapter 5 of Professor Layton:UF. Nothing else is going on so I may end up playing it all night :o

Still making - slow - progress on Infamous.
This games difficulty is definitely the worst thing about it. Cole can be killed by two rockets exploding NEAR him, so how about we have him fight three RPGS, two turrets, two conduits and ten machine gunners all at once. I'm sure in no way will that lead to frustration, forcing the player to try missions over and over again! Not to mention that the enemies soak up SO MUCH DAMAGE. Even the lowest of the footsoldiers take like twenty hits, I'm spamming the R1 button so damn much for one enemy by the time it comes to the important ones the cramp is crippling. I mean if nothing else, have you ever played a game where the amount of enemies on the map is too such overkill levels that you repeatedly die just trying to GET to the fucking missions in the first place? FUCK. It's not really a particularly well made game in any regard, honestly, given that once I noticed them, I couldn't unsee the amount of regular glitches. From things that literally vanish right in front of you, to Cole getting stuck on the spot, to enemies glitching through walls, it's a mess. At least I have over half of the Neon District under my control now, so I'm hoping it might be a less of a pain in the arse there at least when I have to go back for missions. |
Been a while since I played The Saboteur, it still plays like crap but you get to drive cool cars and kill nazis while playing as a sassy Irish stereotype, so it's kinda great.

Chapter 10 of Unwound Future. I've done over 70 puzzles in 2 days, I think I should slow down :o
|
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze. Just at the second boss & I've died 17 straight times.
Did they amp up the difficulty with this release or do I just suck? |

|
Chapter 11 of Unwound Future and finished the Chaos route in Devil Survivor.
|
Started Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, i love the prologue and Chapter 1 was extremely long, but i loved it anyway, i'm a sucker for a good Train sequence.
I'm surprised they didn't catch Flora sooner... She must have those hypnotic glasses on loan from Clark Kent. They're were some puzzles i found annoying but not too hard. |
Just beat chapter 2 in diabolical box. This game has been pretty good so far, i'm surprised that this game doesn't fall into the trilogy curse.
|
Just beat the third chapter of diabolical box, things are getting interesting!
Too bad this game only has 7 chapters, shortest it seems. |
Thanks to Game+ I'm sailing through my second play through of Devil Survivor. I will get back to Layton tonight, I think I only have 2 or 3 Chapters left.
|
Just beat the fourth chapter of Diabolical box, this area at the end of the train, it's making me think of Digimon Frontier. I really like it.
I'm sad that Flora left the party for this chapter. |
I'm enjoying Bravely Default :D
|
Just beat chapter 5 of Diabolical box... Okay one of these puzzles has one of the biggest middle finger moves i have ever seen! I mean they give you NO indication you could do that! I mean what the hell man!? WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!?
Also i read there are 7 chapters, i'm on chapter 6 and i have no caught a glimpse of the antagonist! |
>The very beginning of chapter 6.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2xDJPc-yaM Seriously how the hell is that physically possible!? |
Okay, just beat the 6th chapter, and i'm now on the final stretch of the game!
This was a short but sweet experience. |
The Monk class in Bravely Default sure is OP at some point :lol

Chapter 13 of Unwound Future. I won't spoil the big plot twist, but it's actually more elaborate then Zero Escape :eyebrow
|
Well, it took a while but I finally beat all the levels in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze! I am now working through whatever Hard Mode levels I can!
|
The wind crystal is now re-awakened! On to the water crystal.
|
Just beat Diabolical Box, i'm not sure if i like this one more than the first game. I was looking forward to seeing more of Flora but she's just kind of... Ditched early on, and we don't really see her again until after the credits.
And there was a plot thread that was sort of dropped at the start of chapter 6. And the big reveal just sort of came out of left field, mostly due to the fact that we met the villain at the last chapter doesn't make it have an impact. :/ Okay then... Now to the lost future! |
Ratchet and Clank is a wonderful series.
|
Met Future Luke in Unwound future... Yuri!
Stop! Stop it! STOP STALKING ME! Yoour cool voice is starting to get a little old. |
