this detective show needed seriousness, but all it got was stupidity and boring. and i just didnt like terui.

More Fourze has been watched and I'm starting to wonder if some of these constellations are even real. I've never heard of the fly constellation before.

Really? Half those characters were barely in the series. The informants were all but shoved aside around when Terui showed up.

I'm really loving re-watching Den-O.

I can't speak for Agito or Blade, but out of the other two I'd personally recommend W.

I'd have to say OOO is a great choice but Agito is equally as awesome.

Where can I find all Kamen Rider series subbed in english without downloading anything? The youtube channel I watched Kuuga and Wizard on has OOOs in god damn Arabic.

Toku-Central on Facebook has more or less all subbed series of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. Some of it's links to YouTube and Dailymotion, but most of it's uploaded on Facebook.

Without spoilers, here's what Agito and W are about:

Agito is about the mystery behind the Unknowns who have appeared to kill humans in unnatural ways (I do mean unnatural). It stars three Riders from different backgrounds: Hikawa the clumsy cop, Ryou the athlete that loses everything, and Shouichi who has no memories including how he became a superhero. Out of all the mysteries I've seen in Kamen Rider this is the most satisfying.

W is about two detectives that becomes one to solve crimes involving Gaia Memories, a device that turns people into monsters. It stars Shotaro a newbie detective that thinks he's in a film noir movie and a Philip who has the Earth's entire knowledge in his head. This is a very good series for someone that's just begining.

Both are very enjoyable shows. Agito is the best Kamen Rider series ever made while W is at least in the top five if not second (My opinion, of course). If you've only watched newer Kamen Rider shows like Wizard, W will be the easier one to transition to. Agito is from early Heisei, which is a lot darker in tone and can get somewhat violent compared to Kamen Rider of today.


PS Agito is technically a sequel to Kuuga, but it's not necessary to enjoy Agito ifd you haven't seen Kuuga. That said, Kuuga is a great one too if you want to see just how different early Heisei is compared to now.

Agito. It's a fantastic show and easily a top contender for the title of "Best Rider Show Ever."

So I've already seen Black, Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, Blade, Kabuto, Kiva, Decade, W, OOO, Fourze. I need a next series. I think Den - O is a little too goofy for me.

I hear that Hibiki is a little weird for a rider and that the series is only good up until a certain episode because of staff change or something .

Episode 29 and yes :lol Watch it up to that point at least. You'll really enojy Hibiki for just how different it feels. However I of course will recommend Den-O to anyone. It's fun, a little goofy, and really great. There's some fantastic action in that show and despite how goofy it looks at first there is a serious layer beneath it.

I have to agree with my esteemed colleague. Den-O was the very first rider series I watched from start to finish. for me, the light-heartedness of the early episodes just makes the dramatic parts later in the series that much more intense and action-packed.

Yes, but until that episode it is fucking amazing.

OK, so I just watched OOO Wonderful, & honestly, I thought it was a pretty weak Rider Movie (though keep in mind I've only watched the non-DC version). Looking back on it there were only two parts I really liked:
-Eiji as Birth was completely unexpected & awesome for as long as it lasted
-The moment where Ankh entrusts his only Core Medal to Eiji
-Fourze's cameo was pretty cool, look forward to watching him sometime after I finish OOO

There just allot of things I had issue with in this film, & because I like dot points, let's list em':
-Gara is a cool villain in concept. I mean, one of the alchemists that created the core medals would've been so appropriate. But his plan was never properly explained, plus he was a total punk in his fight with OOO (& Fourze) & I wasn't particularly impressed with the way he turned into a CGI monstrosity only to just fly around in the background until he was owned by the 8-combo unblockable spam attack.
-The kid here was so generic. He's basically the same kid from the last two episodes of Wizard. "My parent/s always working & they care about me!", yeah, that's great for two episodes kid but can get out of the supposedly high-stakes movie?
-Date & Gotou feel wasted, as do Cakeboss & Satonaka, & Chiyoko didn't even need to be here. And is it just me, or does Ankh seem really toned down from his regular selfish assholey self.
-What is it with OOO's movies & medieval Japan? Not necessarily a bad point but it just seems strange.
-Where the hell did the Burakawani medals come from? Yes, I know he got them from the shogun & he got them as a gift but, who created them? Was it Gara? If so why didn't he need them for his wheel thing? Or did he I can't remember. In any case those medals really had no buildup or anything to them, they just came outta nowhere.
-I somehow find it really hard to believe the other Greeed would just give their core medals to OOO, no matter the circumstance.
-"They're all my family", yeah, that's major BS dude.

And that's all I have to say about that. But on a side note, I'm up to 37 of Blade. King form Bitches!

I'm up to episode 11 of Kamen Rider W and its amazing.

Toei has a standing feudal era village set and they will exploit any excuse to use it. It shows up in almost every Den-O movie, too.

Yes it does :lol But hey, they did invest money in building the feudal set. They may as well get all the use out of it that they can.

i am watching Kamen Rider Blade can some one tell me if that the movie set on the path that blade would of taken if he sealed joker or is it non cannon

I was watching a samurai movie on Netflix the other day and I swear the final battle was on Toei's feudal Japan set. That set gets around more than an old West set does in the US.

Trivia that makes OOO Wonderful a bit cooler: The samurai OOO teams up with is Tokugawa Yoshimune, a real person, played by Ken Matsudaira. Ken Matsudaira is reprising he's role as Tokugawa Yoshimune from the series Abarenbo Shogun, making this a crossover with that show. While I've never seen the show, I'm sure it used those sets to.

Unless it has another cameo by the G3 team or a female Rider, I don't think I can care. :p

The thing to keep in mind is that most of the Heisei Rider movies aren't canon. Den-O and W are the only ones that really tried to make sure the movies fit completely within the framework of the show and felt like part of the story. Fourze has done that a bit as well, but I can't totally say for sure since we haven't seen its summer movie yet.

The movie is an alternate ending where Kenzaki seals Joker rather than transforming into one.

Anyway, it does have L'Arc, who's a female rider.

I really don't give a shit about what anyone considers canon and non-canon. If it fits well enough it's canon. Minor continuity errors are fine. If it directly contradicts the events in the show, it's non-canon. If there's a choice (like alternate endings) I pick the better. There is no rhythm or reason to what is and isn't canon. You can not say that something is non-canon just because it's a movie. It's a case by case thing.

Both...kind of. The only thing that interests me in Ryuki's alternate ending is Siren and the G3 team cameo. That said, I am interested in seeing Larc, Lance, and Glaive. They're nice designs.

Yeah, most of them don't fit at all. Ryuki, Blade, and Faiz's are probably the ones that are the most wildly divergent/irreconcilable, though. Maybe Kiva's, but I haven't seen that and I really have no desire to.
