That's what I did when I jumped onto Super: I just skipped the first three arcs entirely, watched a couple of fights and scenes on Youtube, and went straight into the Goku Black Arc. I think if you've already seen Battle of Gods and Ressrectuon F then you don't really need to follow it in Super.

You'll get a few parts that introduce Champa and Vados, and there are new scenes that expand upon the movies but other than that the main stuff happens exactly the same.

You can definitely do this. If you want, episodes 15-18 fill in some plot points between the 2 films (birth of Pan, how Goku and Vegeta begin training with Whis, how the get their new outfits), but are definitely skippable as well.

Yeah, but most of that seems pretty skippable. As far as story goes, you'll be fine just watching the movies and jumping into the Universe 6 Arc.

I saw the dub episode of Episode 53 of Super on Toonami. I don't mind the English voice for Zamasu since I have grown used too. I just hate how they say Zamasu's name in the dub.

I like how Goku Black starts off as sounding just like a more arrogant version of Schemel's Goku but becomes more and more British sounding in the later episodes.

I think Goku having a British like voice as SSj Rose is pretty stupid to me. It feels like something that Funimation would do in their early infamous days. I do think his base form sounds fine in the dub and sounds way better than how it did in Xenoverse 2.

Dragon Ball Heroes episode 1 is just 8 minutes nothing really. The only cool thing was the small fight between Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Goku in my opinion. It's 8 minute episodes on a bi weekly release to promote the arcade game in Japan and keep fans waiting until Super returns on TV (Which will probably happen).

Heroes is just like the CG Godzilla anime trilogy, just filler to feed the fans while they wait for bigger and more important stuff. I probably won't be watching this bi weekly. I just wanted to see how the first episode 1 was like.

I think this could be Toriyama's take on Broly and making him into his own thing. I'm surprise that they went with Funimation's dub name for the title and not the official English translation for him (Broli).

Agreed, I don’t hate Broly, but he is super flat. I’ve never really understood how he was popular enough to get three movies before this.

So the recent DLC leak for Xenoverse 2 has new data for Gogeta and Broly. It seems like SSj Blue Gogeta will likely be a thing. I would rather have SSj Blue Vegito return in the movie, but Gogeta is cool though.

Oh, that reminds me, we heard the dubbed voices for Caulifla and Kale in the update, Kale is far too squeaky for my tastes but I admittedly only heard a conversation between the two, they argue about Super Saiyans and which form is the coolest. Caulifla is fucking perfect
