What happened to Drive using the other mix-up tires!?

And who would be the true main antagonist himself?

Banno? Chase? Or some other Roidmude general? Or.... Krim?

Rumor has it Ghost will show up in the last couple episodes of Drive, similar to how Gaim showed up at the end of Wizard.

That's the Lupin under suit! I'm thinking after the main story line ends and the Roidmudes are defeated, Lupin comes back (Like Jam in the Gaim finale) and Ghost helps Drive defeat him once and for all.

If that's the case, I'm surprised they'd be filming this already. Provided my theory is true, would they currently be filming this far ahead? How many episodes of Drive are actually left? Who knows? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Maybe Lupin appears sooner, but is still the villain for the finale with Ghost. I like your theory, I can totally see this happen after Gaim brought Kougane back to conclude the show.

Well we had Jam set photos in early to mid August and Gaim wrapped up filming I believe in mid August so Drive might be a shorter series.

I think Drive will be at least 47 episodes at this point. Here's why:

Someone pointed out that Ghost will start in late September. This means that Drive might end on 09/19 (this being Saturday for the US and Sunday for Japan) and Ghost might premiere on the 26th. That's as late September as you can get unless Ghost starts on the 19th and Drive ends on the 12th making Drive 46 episodes long (I'm not sure if that's even possible.)

The actress for Kiriko posted yesterday that they received the final script for Drive so they'll probably be finishing up filming in a couple of weeks.

Either Banno, one of the 0 Roidmudes or Chase (like how Joker went berserk after all the Undead are sealed)

Will Chase end up being the final boss of Drive? Just like Chalice?

Although I guess I never really considered Blade having a final boss at all. It was more of a Dark Roach wave rush. The point of the finale was avoiding a final confrontation with Chalice completely.

Back to Drive, though. :p

Technichally, Tennoji was the final boss of the show, because he was pretty much the only actual "villain" left.

Anyway, I do not believe that Chase will return to being an enemy soon. Unlike Hajime, he is in total control of his powers and was a good guy in the first place, when he war Proto-Drive. So no, I don't think he will be the final boss either. Atm, my bets are on either Banno or maybe even Krim- depends on how the movie works with the show.

But they mentioned that Chase will play some key role in the Roidmudes master plan. That's why Brain didn't destroy him a couple episodes ago, I thought.

It is possible that he'll just make an artificial one, like Krim did in Move Wars Full Throttle. Considering his skills as AI only, it wouldn't even surprise me, even though it would be insane.

That doesn't mean he's gonna turn back into a villain...

I doubt Chase as a character will ever go back to being a baddie. His body, on the other hand. I think they've got plans for that. And I still think Banno is too mysterious and shady to be a good guy.

I've still got a hunch that Banno will use the Proto-Zero body as a host. We've seen its transformation into the Chaser forms with various aids, but I don't think Machin actually represents a real Roidmude evolution. I think there might be more to it. My thought is that maybe the naturally evolved form of Proto-Zero, controlled by Banno, will be the final boss.

Of course then they can follow through with the obvious cliche: The ultimate enemy controls an ally and becomes unstoppable. To defeat him, the consciousness of the host is strong enough to pull through just long enough for our hero to destroy them both.

What if its possible if there were other "Proto-Zero" bodies that were hidden in Banno's lab once? Perhaps he'll possess one and perhaps (in my theory)....

- create his own "Brake Gunner" to henshin into his own version of "Mashin Chaser"
- transforms into a Roidmude similar to Cell as he could absorb Brain and two other lower-type Roidmudes - spider & cobra, to become complete.

And as of today, the series has completed filming.

Well considering Gaim wrapped up mid August, I'm just gonna say Drive is potentially shorter than these past few years, but only by a few episodes.

There's a rumor saying the last few episodes are a crossover thing, like the last two episodes of Wizard- so the actual plot might end early, but the overall broadcast is about as long as Gaim, maybe?

Well, if Ghost starts in October, that crossover idea would not be out of reason.

From what I'm seeing online, that isn't so much a new form for Mach (which really just looks similar to his base form), but rather a mass produced version of him. I'm guessing it's for the police (hope Ota get's a suit, think he's earned it by now. Kiriko definitely should be first in line for one, though).

Also Banno might end up being Gold Drive, especially after his actions last episode

According to the scan Banno used a roimude body and a duplicated drive driver to be Gold Drive

Ghost starts earlier though, in late September, so even if the last episodes are a crossover Drive has less episodes overall.

Not to keen on the new forms, the typical re-usage of suits that happens towards the end of a series. And they are not particularly good looking either.

Pretty sure we're able to have our own Sentai team of Drive repaints at this point. Red, Silver, Black, Orange/Blue, Gold......



I don't even care that it's just a gold Drive repaint, I'm a sucker for evil versions of Riders, and that form looks friggin' cool.

And having good versions of Riotroopers is an awesome idea.

Yeah I love Gold Drive as Evil Drive and yeah I definitely agree with the Mach Troopers.

I thought the series was gonna end on a anti-climactic fight tbh, but this! I love what I see! And really Hope lt. Otta or Kiriko gets to be a rider, heck the whole Tokujo squad should be riders xD
Also, with Banno Drive being equivalent to an ultimate evolution, does that mean the promised number is completed?

Info about mass-produced Mach in the scan:

- Police has created a combat suit as the battle against roimudes reaches its climax

- Thanks to the Picopico no.3(3rd iteration of that contraption our heroes would wear to track down roimudes) equipped on the back, people who wear the suit can move even if heavy acceleration/donyori occurs

- Unlike the riders, the henshin belt which is not yet named, transforms the user via activation key, Rinna developed the system

That backpack on the trooper Mach suits is ridiculous. Totally figured it was a new version of their old Roidmude packs though. And Gold Drive is rather... uninspired.

But the story direction of them I like.

So it appears that the final number of Riders for this show is around 4 (Drive, Mach, Chaser, Gold Drive), 5 if you include Proto-Drive. Then comes around to 7 when including the movie Riders (Lupin and Dark Drive)
