I...doubt it's that important? Not every main Rider's parents are, after all.

I think it may end up being relevant in some way in this case, though. They haven't really focused on it, but they've mentioned several times now that Emu was always alone as a child. He also seemingly had no adult role models besides the doctor who saved his life--we never even see his family mentioned when they talk about his accident and operation 16 years ago. It kinda raises the question of what exactly his home life was like.

We rarely learn that much about the backgrounds of a lot of Riders, but for a main one it is just a little peculiar that we have basically no context whatsoever regarding his family. I don't expect that it'd be something plot relevant at all, but it could potentially offer some sort of insight into his character.

Yeah, his utter lack of family, despite numerous childhood traumas is, in my opinion, very curious.

Yeah, for most of the recent Kamen Riders, we've known at least something about their parents, even if they were by no means a major part of the story (see: Gaim), but nothing on Emu.

Both Hiiro and Kuroto has their fathers (Haima Kagami and Masamune Dan) in Ex-Aid series. And probably Kuroto's mother will be revealed too....

But Emu's parents is still unknown. I hope his parents will be revealed in future episodes.....

Though given we've still got like 20 episodes to go and next episode is apparently going to already have Hiiro musing about the prospect of bringing peeps back from the dead, I think it's just as likely it will only be temporary (likely with a nice heroic sacrifice on Kiriya's part) because "doctors can't save everyone" or whatever. Ex-Aid's all about jerking the viewer's emotions around, right?

He has 3 finishers. Critical Crews-Aid, Critical Judgement (beam mode) and Critical Sacrifice(chainsaw mode)

I swear I will be so far gone if Kiriya comes back but he comes back "wrong". That would be a whole new level of emotional whiplash.

Maybe I'm blind, but at first I thought that set image was of Ex-Aid in his Bike Action Gamer form for the hyper battle DVD....



Then I realized that a) it's already been released and b) From what little I can tell, it does look like the shoulders are a completely different color.


So maybe that IS Kiriya.

Also the feet are yellow and the under suit is a completely different color. Not to mention it's entirely devoid of any lime green.

Definitely looks like it, and explains why Lazer is even on there. I feel like we would have heard about one by now, but I hope he gets a Bakusou Treasure gashat. It looks like the undersuit might be reused from Ghost Gamer, which would fit the color scheme of the Bakusou Treasure protagonist character.

- Masamune Dan (First Genm Corp. President and Kuroto Dan's father)
- Kyotaro Hinata (Ministry of Health)
- Nico Saiba (Best Ride Player)
- Haima Kagami (Hiiro Kagami's father) very small possibility as Chronos.

In preview episode, Masamune in Genm Corp. office. It seems Masamune will become Genm Corp. President again.

After listening to Kuroto's explanation, Kiriya STILL got royally fucked as Kiriya didn't die to the virus, therefore, he can't be brought back. A friend of mine is going to smack Kuroto's actor out of spite if this is true lol

Whoever Chronos is...he either just wants to be the ultimate boss fulfilling his role of the game...or someone who sees both the Bugsters and Riders as nuisances to his secret master plan?
Its either Masamune or Kyotaro, the latter since Kuroto mentioned him in ep 11 but that could be just to rile up Emu.
Hiiro's dad is possible...but thats because he hasnt appeared for a while (and would be hilariously awesome)

More set photos of the new Lazer form, which actually reuses the normal Legend Rider undersuit (like most new suits at this point...), not the Ghost one like I initially thought. It's also missing the weird engine backpack around the Level 1 head, which leads me to believe the point of this form ins allowing Lazer to use the various Gamer armors. In fact, it looks like he might be using Proto Shakariki Sports from the Hyper Battle DVD? It's hard to tell. Kiriya's actor is also present, confirming it is, in fact, him.

That said, it's possible this might be for the movie after all, and not the show, since there's a guy in black next to Emu wearing a Gamer Driver who I don't recognize. Unless it's somebody's stunt double or I'm just being dumb, it might be the Ninja rider from the movie.

Random yet trivially related fun fact I found, the Greek God of the same name overthrew his father Uranus only to later be kicked out by his son Zeus and get locked up. Aside from representing time, he also represents harvest. Thought I'd leave this trivia here as to help us speculate what we can expect from Cronus.

Saw an interesting theory on the Kamen Rider reddit.


Cronus could still be Dan just not....our Dan. Since Dan is essentially just data now, that data could theoretically be replicated and the "clone" could become Cronus. Of course, the clone would have somebody like Pallad guiding him instead of Poppy, so we'd get Hero Dan vs Villain Dan which could make for an interesting dynamic.


I doubt that that's the case, but it'd be interesting nonetheless.

Apparently Chronus' suit actor is the guy who did Dangerous Zombie and Proto Mighty Action whereas the Neo Dan the Man is Zyuoh Eagle's, which could support that

'Cronus'? Well that, combined with reports stating Masamune's actor is in the next block of episodes consecutively really does point to something, doesn't it?
