Now for Love is Bloom, I liked it. It had a sense of closure to it and fit perfectly to the scene it was match up to.
I really liked that about this arc. I liked how they made you think they were going to use the Elements of Harmony. Then they didn't use them (granted they got captured), because during that, I was afraid that they were going to use them as a "FIX EVERYTHING!" button. Me too. I wasn't crazy about it the first time around, but after listening to it a bunch of times. I really like it now.

Well, that's a sung-through musical for you. Song after song after song with little to no actual spoken lines.

Other examples are Les Misérables, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Pink Floyd-The Wall, Rent and Starlight Express.

That's just the main characters, and they technically are in the main group so I couldn't leave them off.

I actually love it when an episode ends up overly musical. And like the others said, wait until you get to the Season 3 finale! :lol
