Tippy Taps for me. Growing up I heard a mix of Thongs and Flip Flops for what foam sandals like that were called.

Also, the soda one is surprisingly accurate. I think I was the only person in the South to call it a soda, rather than a Coke.
Makes me wonder what crack deals were like when I lived there, now...

But yeah

I grew up in NC. Literally no one called soda "coke" unless it was coke. I had one teacher in high school who'd just transferred from Michigan that called it "pop", but that's it.

And we called flip flops either "flip flops" or "Put on some proper shoes you filthy hippie."
