ok still not going to use the starters this gen i am ether going to bank a previous gen from ORAs start cause each time i beat league i get starter of birch from past gen or i be boxing the started i picked use the first wiled pokemon i find as my starter. also seeing an older red and blue they do look older. is awesome as well.

I was initially against the idea of another bipedal final evolution for a fire type starter, but Tiger TheDark here is actually pretty cool, mostly because they animated it really well. Also Fire/Dark, thank god. I actually like the other two as well and think they’re pretty well done too, but I think I go with the tiger wrestler.

The most hype thing about the trailer is Red and Blue though. Love that they even aged a little bit. That’s another thing Red managed to do which Ash never will – he grew older.

Also I’m intrigued about this Battle Tree thing.

Whenever I see Incineroar, all I can think of is Rath from Ben 10.

Actually, the signature move could just end up being Smelling Salts/ Wake-up Slap for burns. If it gets Serene Grace as a hidden ability with Scald, it's going to be a fucking monster

Most people are speculating that it's more of a double battle move for your ally.

However, even if it is a Wake Up Slap style move, I don't think it's worth it, since the attack cut burn inflicts usually cripples a Pokemon a lot more than a mildly bigger chunk of damage, and running Scald and Sparkling Aria would mean it's also using 2 water attacks, hurting it's coverage.

I dunno. If it gets Serene Grace, then it'd be pretty boss~

Honestly, despite how I don't like Primarina, this is EASILY the best bunch of starters in a while

On topic all three Starters have cool final evos. Even if its main move seems like garbage I'm still going with water mermaid, though the tiger looks like a real badass.

It's design just doesn't click with me and it's eyes creep me out. HOWEVER! It most certainly is NOT disliked as much as you think. General opinion was that it's actually pretty cool and that Incineroar was loathed. Screw the Popplio defence squad, you fucks don't need defending anymore, especially with your stats! (Popplio had high defensive stats in a gameplay preview)

I guess I shouldn't gauge by YouTube comments, but Primarina and Brionne are certainly the least favorites :lol

So a reviewer is leaking things. I was looking at stuff, looking for confirmation and information about types and names and such. Specifically curious about Cosmog. Didn't necessarily learn all I wanted to but I'm running into too many story spoilers so I'm just gonna stop.

Final confirmation that UBs are Pokemon, have types and real names tho <3. So glad we'll be able to catch them all. Apparently by the climax UB-02 haven't shown up though so...? There's still a whole lot of UBs left. Will we have a bunch of post game stuff with them? Will some be events? Is the plot not actually done and I'm just misinformed? All good possibilities.
