Also, Skirts are pretty lame, too. Kind of a useless design choice on a robot. Why not have just normal hips? And again, BEARDS. ALL GUNDAMS HAVE BEARDS. Bright red ones, typically. But that's okay?

It does fit the aesthetic.

Fits it more than, say, the V-crest on RX-78. The moustache is still curved and sweeping, like the lines and angles on Turn A. There's virtually innumerable blocky Gundams randomly sporting sharp V-crests directly against their aesthetic.

In fact, you still haven't answered me: why is the moustache bad, but not the forehead crests? It's literally the exact same deal, just below the eyes.

It protects the otherwise exposed hip joints. The joints are the weakest part of a robot, and protecting them is a must on a fighting mech.

The moustache is worse than the v-fin because of the negative space left over. It just has a big plain dome for a head, not even a forehead camera. The gundams with v-fins have those little cheek machine guns providing detail around the face so that doesn't look blank. If there was a vent or sensor or something on the forehead, the Turn A would look a bit better.

I think you're forgetting what Turn A looks like.

The lack of anything huge on the forehead is a plus. Who says it needs some useless crap up there when it's got enough flare on the head?

To be fair to SEED most of the similar looking suits are based on each other.*The GAT-X series are all based on Duel,Akatsuki and Impulse on Strike,Astray on Red Frame etc...*

Says reality. Even if it's drifted away from it, Gundam was, and to a loose extent still is, a Real Robot series. As in it tries it's best to be technologically feasible. And on actual, real-life robots meant to function out in the real world, the joints are almost always protected with something to keep them from getting damaged. And a mech suit designed to fight other mech suits that are most likely shooting and stabbing at it would very likely have armor plates covering the major joints where possible. Skirt armor, shoulder pads, kneecaps, ankle guards, etc. The fronts of the elbows aren't protected because that would be almost impossible to do without hindering the joint itself.

I've never noticed the A before, that does help with the look. It's still not one of my favorites, but I retract my original opinion on the MS.

Build Burning in BF Try is a RG right? It has to be since it has inner frames instead of your normal HG kit.
