Why don't they fight with MGs in the show?

Probably because HGs are cheaper and have more designs to choose from.

Or tournies possibly only allow HGs.

Honestly that might not be the true reason. I believe it's a marketing standpoint since the shows are one huge giant toy commercial HG kits are more easily made and easier to produce.

Theres only been a small bit of them that got the MG treatment in realitly such as this guy...
