That is one thing that always bothered me about Gokaiger too. They give these dee backstories to Luka, Ahim, Joe, and then do nothing with them. Absolutely nothing. Every mech fight is Power-Spam, and the one interesting villian they have they kill off. Basco. Basco and Gai made that show watchable.

And Barizog. Yes Boss.

To be fair, most mecha fights outside of Gokaiger are power spam as well.

I'd put money (only a small amount though) on an effect part to replicate it's spinning finisher. That could look cool.

All SRC Megazords have included finisher effects so far. I expect a spining effect that attachs to the arms and chest.

Denji Sentai Megaranger is back on my radar.

After some soul searching I've decided to stick it out with Boukenger for now. The last episode, 9, was much better in terms of sub quality (but not video quality, sadly). I think episode 8 may have just been a really bad one.

I watched Episodes 36-38 of Go-Busters. First, watching the Buddyroids create a union and then go on strike was stupid. However, the next episode's fights were pretty damn badass. But then, of course, the show had to take away that excitement by having a craptastic episode after. My god, what is with this show? Just when things were starting to get good it got horrible again.

Thank the gods the show only has one more weekend left after today so we can get a (hopefully) good show on the air again.

i was going off go-busters, watching the odd episode, then i saw the villain for next week and its back on like donkey kong in a blender

while my flatmate is away at his girlfriends im having a sentai movie marathon, hence why im up at 3am and talking garbage (too. much. CAFFINE!!!)

I've fallen behind on Go-Busters again. At this rate I may end up just marathoning the last four or five episodes after Kyoryuger starts.

I'm up to episode 21 of Zyu, and I swear I've already seen Gouryuzin more than I ever saw the Dragonzord battle mode in MMPR.

I have to say though, Daizyujin is one of my favourite characters in this show. He can be such a dick sometimes its glorious.

Dragonzord Battlemode wasn't used near as much as I would've liked. That was the one where it formed the shoulders right?

It's the one where Dragon Ceasar replaces Tyrannosaurus and Pteranodon.

It's called Gouryuujin when Dragon Caesar replaces Tyrannosaurus. When it becomes the big shoulder pads its' called Zyutei Daizyujin.

Anyway, you are getting close to another great story arc as 28-31 are awesome episodes.

No kidding, episode 30 is the stuff of nightmares.

Just burned my way through the last 5 episodes of Dekaranger. Thoughts:

46 - A great Umeko focus episode with an awesome touch of Sen in the mix. I love their dynamic and relationship
47 - An Alienizer who kills ESPers and turns them into power batteries? Now I know why Ayumi is on Kyoryuger :lol
48 - Great episode again, I love it when Tetsu steps up and actually gets the spotlight. But why the hell didn't they just go ahead and finish of Jellyfish with a Gattling Punch?
49 - Abrera really pulled out the big guns here. Shutting off the dekasuits, taking out Doggie early, compromising Swan. His plan was great.
50 - FANTASTIC finale. Exactly what I wanted to see. Tetsu kicking ass with Dekawing, Hoji and the others all shined in their indivdual missions, Ban really shined though. I also really like the epilogue at the end too. Nice to see Tetsu take his place with the team and see that Ban is still fighting the good fight with Fire Squad.

My overall thoughts on the series are nothing but positive. It was fun, action packed, entertaining. It had great designs for the ranger suits and mecha, great actors and actresses for the main cast. I think the fact that this show is one of TVNihons earliest projects can garner a bad reaction from alot of people. If you've never seen it then PLEASE give it a real chance. It will do nothing but reward you. Now it's on to the final movie, Magiranger Vs. Dekaranger!

Wow Den-O, your reaction to the finale is the exact opposite of mine. I might think differently of it when I rewatch the series (after OT has completed it), but I felt really let down due to how lackluster they took out Aburella. He was barely a challenge and was the reason the show really need an actual villain, a crime boss, as it were. Cops in Spandex was not horrible, but it could have been a million times better.

So...episode 1 of Abarager:

it was ok. The way they structured the episode felt really odd. I was surprised to see that AbareBlack was introduced first. I was also surprised to see that their mechs are sentient. It was also interesting how Zeltrax (because I don't know his sentai counterpart name) seems to be the main villian in this as opposed to a general. Also, the subtitles suck

Bear with it man, it does get better, well in general. Geilton, the dark armor guy, isn't the Main Villain or even the main General here but there is a backstory to the armor tied with Asuka/Abare Black.

First off, the subs probably suck because you are watching it from a HK rip. Secondly, "Zeltrax" is NOT even remotely the main villain. Third, AbaRanger is a comedic series with serious subplots, so you can't go in expecting it to be grand at first. Fourth, I want to say it is the 8th episode when the show starts to move while episode 17 is where it really gets moving.

I watched episode 4 Dairanger earlier. It was pretty good, although I must say, Key Clown freaks me the f*ck out in his human form. It was a very good episode overall, and I found the parts of Masou's little sister and the Rangers hilarious.

I started some of episode 5, but then my girlfriend pretty much abducted the rest of my internet time at the library showing me pictures of Claymore and stuff on her Tumblr.
