Kamen Rider Super-1 (1980)

VS

Kamen Rider Meteor (Kamen Rider Fourze, 2012)

And now for some facts
Super-1:

• Was designed as a space cyborg which can survive in space exploration.
• Has Shaolin Training, and was able to defeat 1000 Shaolin Monks on his own.
• As Super-1, Kazuya possesses super-powered attachments called the "Five Hands".
• Super Hands: Super-1's default silver gloves. He can perform the Super Punch with them (300ton)
• Electric (Eleki) Hands: Super-1's blue gloves. They can shoot an electric beam (10.000volt)
• Power Hands: Super-1's red gloves. He gains the ability to lift heavy objects (50ton)
• Radar Hands: Super-1's gold gloves. He can shoot missiles that emit radar waves, allowing him to see further from the radar screen on his gloves.

Jupiter creates a projection called the Jupiter Hammer, giving Meteor sheer strength and a powerful punch. Using Saturn creates a projection of Saturn called Saturn Sorcery, giving him the ability to shoot energy rings
• By placing the Meteor Switch into the Meteor Galaxy, Meteor uses a Limit Break called Starlight Shower, allowing Meteor to rapidly punch his opponent
• Most Powerful Form: Meteor Storm
• As Meteor Storm, Meteor is armed with the Meteor Storm Shaft. When the Meteor Storm switch is placed into the Meteor Storm Shaft, it initiates an attack called Meteor Storm Punisher, where the Storm Topper launches from the staff, absorbing opponent's energy and getting stronger with each strike.
• Rides the Meteorstar Rider Machine, which is lighter and faster than Fourze's Massigler.

His training was just more intense and it makes him a better fighter than Meteor.
He's more versatile than Meteor as well. Super-1 is literally just a better version of Meteor from 30 years ago.

Also, can I just say that I think Super-1 is the best Showa-era Rider design, right after V3. Just with his Silver-Space-Cowboy-Mantis-Man look.

Well, here's how I see it: anyone can use a gun or a sword or a lance or a knife or a cannon as a weapon. But the person you should fear is the one who can use the most unlikely of objects to bring death.

Not really. All Kamen Riders are deadly, Meteor just uses the most round about and silly way to kill(-ish). It's really not an effective way of killing(-ish).

I'm going with the rider from the show I've actually seen, So Meteor get's my vote.

As much as I love Ryusei (best part of Fourze, hands down), I think Kazuya has him beat. Ryusei's good, but Kazuya is older and has more training. Combine that with the power boost he gets as Super-1 and I don't think Meteor has much of a chance. I see this as pretty much just being a straight up martial arts fight, so I don't really see Meteor Storm's or Super-1's hands playing a large role here.

It's top three for me, just after Black and X Rider.

Meteor is awesome and all, but Super-1 has him beat hands down.

I'll stick with Super-1. Meteor does not think well when under presure and that is going to cost him should he fight Super-1.

Kiva:

• Able to perform the Darkness Moon Break, a rider kick that shifts day to night*
• Can shift into Garulu Form, wielding the Garulu Saber, giving him the ability to fight in a feral state while increasing his speed
• Can shift into Basshaa Form, allowing him to wield the Bashaa Magnum and control water, with his finisher being able to follow the opponent, due to his increased accuracy and marksmanship.

• In King Form, he wields the King Rouzer, the signature armament of Blade in King Form. Modeled after the broadsword, the King Rouzer is Blade's most powerful Rouzer weapon given its size and weight. That aside, the King Rouzer functions as most Rouzer weapons, although its AP Cache has been given a much larger expansion. Where as Rouze Cards were roused by scanning the cards through the system, the King Rouzer does it differently by having up to five Cards be inserted into the slot where the blade of the Rouzer meets the grip.

• Rides the Blue Spader, which has different performance modes- Thunder Spader using the 6 Thunder Deer Card and the Mach Spader, using the 9 Mach Jaguar
• Due to over using King Form, he's become the Navy Joker.

Hint To Next Battle: You either dislike them for their popularity, or like them

I know very little about either of these so I'm gonna have to think about this and then vote closer to the end of the round. My gut feeling is telling me Blade though for some reason.

Kiva. Hands down Kiva. His versatility is just off the charts. And once he's goes Emperor it's game over for Blade. Even if Blade was in King Form.

And if someone brings up that bullshit about Wataru being emo again shit will get real. If you think he was emo the entire series then you obviously didn't watch the whole show. Don't make an uninformed decision based on that.

Kiva. He's a powerhouse. Blade might be one of my favorite designs but in a straight fight with Kiva he'd get his clock cleaned.

Gotta go with Kiva. He was simply strong. And by the end of the series, he knew it. And that made him all the more dangerous.

Access to all Spade cards, in addition to whatever other undead cards he has sealed, 2 forms granting him sustained flight (Both of which were used on multiple occasions), a big ass sword, and a powerhouse all around?
Blade clinches it.

This shouldn't even be a contest. Blade's King form calls upon the power of all thirteen Spade undead at once, giving Kenzaki such a huge boost in power that he can barely control it. Add that power boost into Kenzaki's trained fighting skills and Blade has one of the more powerful final forms in the Heisei era.

Kiva, by contrast, can't stack up. Technically, he's faster and more versatile, but he's not nearly as skilled of a fighter as Kenzaki. Odds are he'd end up getting in close with the Zanvat sword and there's no way in hell he can compete with Kenzaki blade to, well, Blade (awful pun, sorry). Plus the Zanvat needs a good fapping to get it really charged up and the time Wataru needs to do that is more than enough of an opening for Kenzaki to throw a Royal Straight Flush in his face.

In terms of power, skill, and personal bias (Kenzaki's one of my favorite Heisei Riders, Wataru is my least favorite ever) I have to give this to Kenzaki.

Frankly, Wataru's only chance here is to travel back in time and keep Kenzaki's parents from knocking boots. :p

I i have to give this thought due to i only saw blade and know what he can do so until i start kiva what will be tonight after den-o i will answer from after the first ep but i still going with blade at the moment.

Super-1 was going to win this, I just knew it. He's a Shaolin Master with five sets of gloves that give him special powers!

All Meteor has is his creepy girlfriend and his BeyBlade. But he did well against S-1.

It seems the Showa riders who got edged out last time are making a comeback. I'm glad.

Going with Blade on this one. Yes Emperor Form is strong but King Form trumps it (no pun intended). Kenzaki is also a much more skilled fighter.

My vote is for Kiva.

I just remembered, doesn't Blade have the "Time 10" card? (the one of the few cards he never used). If we've learnt anything from these Battles it's that 'whoever controls time, controls the battle' (or was it 'Clock up=instant win'). So I'm thinking that even if Emperor form was more powerful Kenzaki could freeze time if he wanted to.

Kiva's dragon has a time door in it, your argument is invalid.

But seriously let's not bring up the uber ridiculous aspects of a Rider, since we know they'd never happen, that so plagued these contests in the past...

And this has probably been asked before but what constitutes as a 'win'? Because seeing as how Kenzaki is an Undead he can't be killed.

Are they fighting right outside his time door? And dude, uber ridiculousness is why I'm a fan of Kamen Rider in the first place. You can't ask me to ignore it.

Yeah that is one of the interesting aspects of it, but in my opinion debating things that we know wouldn't ever happen/haven't happened so we don't know how they really work (like Kuuga being able to destroy the Earth, or unused cards in this case) that completely ruined these polls to me for a while. It seems pointless to give a character an advantage for something they haven't done.

(Also I'm actually quite surprised Kiva is winning here lol. I didn't think he was nearly popular enough here.)
