Taking a break for a week and coming back to the Saboteur is not kind to it. One weekend I really need to go trade in some games and get something new.

Just beat the 6th chapter of Unwound future.

Obviously not played inFamous for a week either, sat down to get back into it, played about three missions and turned it off. The amount of frustration layered into every single second of that game is disgusting, and now I have so little free time I want a game that is actually playable. I know it's not the "cool thing" to say but I LOVE easy games. Having no challenge is boring, but dying like five billion times because developers assume frustration and challenge are the same thing is not fun for me in any sense. I just wanna buy a game I can spend my weekends off working through, not waste my weekends off playing the same mission thirty times because I keep dying due to cheap gameplay.

I honestly plan on going to Cex on Monday before work and pretty much just trading in my entire PS3 collection for something new as I'm not really enjoying any of the games I currently own.

I love easy games too, but I never had trouble with inFAMOUS. Maybe the PAL version's easy setting is harder than the NA version's easy setting?

"Here protect this bus while we shoot you with fifty RPGs at all angles - oh yeah by the way the bus can only take a few more hits than you can so be careful and OH YEAH you have to go from one side of the map to the other, you do get checkpoints but the checkpoints don't restore any of the buses health GOOD LUCK."

"Okay so you've gotta go get the seven pieces of the maguffin which will be scattered across a handful of rooftops, each rooftop will have three gun turrets on it, and about ten enemies a piece, with about fifty enemies including conduits, RPGs and shields will also be scattered around ground level. GOOD LUCK."

It's bullshit like that that makes the game so painfully hard, Cole is a guy who literally dies in like two hits and you're expected to fight off enemies from every perceivable angle who can literally shoot around corners from a mile away.

Cole in 2 is this superpowered badass and it's great fun, but the fighting style of Cole in one is to CONSTANTLY run away and try and find anything that can restore his health. If you chip away one enemy at a time before running across the map for something to restore your health you might finish one mission a month because of course bloating a game with frustrating gameplay is better than actual depth.

Ah, the bus mission. Yeah that one sucked. It helps to hop of the bus and clear out some zones before the bus enters them and using shockwaves to force rockets and Dust Men back.

I did it that way in the end, but it meant it took like an hour. By the end when you save Trish I was so fed up I just ran past all of them enemies just so it was over.

So you quit after Alden threw her up on top of the hospital?

You know, you can climb up the hospital from a different side and bypass most of the Dust Men.

I finished that mission, and played a few more after it. But rather than fighting which I think is what you were meant to do I just ran through the middle and scaled the building so I could save her and the mission would be fucking over.

Doing chapter 7 of Unwound future.
And started playing Mario and Luigi superstar saga.

Brought Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for Wii U and am right now trying to get 100% once again.

Memory's serving me well so far, but it's rusty as hell. Going to have to double check GameFAQS, home of some of the meanest people on the interwebs for more intel on where the items are.

I beat Unwound Future last night, and while the ending was sad, I saw it coming. I am confused about the ending though, it hints at a sequal but aren't all the games prequels now?

Anyway, being my first Layton games my impressions are: It's charming, and real fun to play. A lot of the puzzles are intuitive and are integrated into the action. While there are a lot of annoying math puzzles I appreciate the Memo feature. The story goes way out there towards the end, but it remains a fun ride and I can suspend my disbelieve. My only problem is the story portion is pretty short, it only took me 12 hours. But it served a purpose, it gave me a fun distraction from the crap I'm dealing with in my personal life and that's all I can ask for.

Yeah, after Unwound future is the prequel trilogy, level 5 has stated that they're gonna make more games but Layton's not gonna be the main focus on them. So we might see something in the future that takes place after Unwound future.

Damn that was depressing! Depressing in a good way. There's one thing that's kind of bugging me though...
Why the hell does Clive look so much like Luke? Are we just supposed to believe that they look the same without an explanation?
Well now i look forward to playing the prequels!

Started playing Project X Zone for the 3DS it's really refreshing to play something different from Pokemon X. I am enjoying it, and so many characters that I know and some I have no idea about their backgrounds.

Made it to 94% on Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, plus accessed Master and the All Copy room. I'm still missing a few spray paints and a sound sheet, but I think I can find them before Kirby Triple Deluxe comes out in America.

Victor and Victoria are down and out! The ninja job is so useful as well as the spell fencer.

Playing Persona 3 right now...because midnight.

I've been playing Conception 2 for the past two hours, i'm liking it so far.

I'm looking forward to the point in game where i meet the girl in my sig. I made a cowboy child, i named it Flint after the dad from Mother 3. :lol

I just came home with Conception 2 myself. This is pretty much the closest we're getting to a new Persona game until they either localize Persona Q or fully reveal 5.

Playing RWBY Grim Eclipse.

I spent the entire day on Conception 2 and i finally made it to the second chapter, i have no idea what i'm doing. :lol

Enjoying Conception 2 though So far, the prologue chapter has been a bit of a grind but I like this game. As I said: this is the closest to a new Persona we're getting for awhile.

Although…there's some parts of the game that someone with a gutter mind like mine could take out of context. :lol

...There's a different context than the one i'm getting?

Choltz's line in the prologue about him giving the MC approval to and i quote "Make Children with his Sister" had me literally laughing out loud.
