Do we know how many episodes each mini-series will have?
Daredevil has 13 I believe, and I'd assume the rest would as well. Nice little number to have for a small series.
Based on other Netflix shows I would guess its around 12 episodes.
*Keeps fingers crossed for a Punisher series down the line*
Oh man a Punisher series would be so awesome and fits what they are doing with the Netflix shows really well. Same goes for Ghost Rider btw.
Oh yeah, Ghost Rider would be cool too. Heck we keep hearing that we'll get a Venom movie down the line. That could probably work better as a show IMO.
A Venom show could be very interesting. Depends on which Venom they would use though. Brock would work better as a villain in a movie while Flash Thompson would be ideal as the protagonist of a show.

Especially since I've been rereading Mark Waid's run. But it will be great to have a superhero show to marathon with some friends where we all have just begun watching it. Quote:

"What are you dense? Are you retarded or something? Who the hell do you think I am? I'M THE GODDAMN DAREDEVIL!" he screams at a traumatized child and he commits vehicular homicide against cops. |

Look at it: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YQ5PwAmcO3...d%2Byellow.JPG That glorious thing deserves something more than a Frank Miller story. It at least needs to show up during one of those scenes they have in movies where the main character tries on different outfits for his/her friends for them to judge. Quote:

Hell Punisher could cross over into Daredevil since they've shared stories. I'd say they could do the same with Spidey, but considering they keep re-setting the movies...

If you want a funny story with yellow suit just check #1 that is so delightfully corny. :lol |

He did. But I was referring to ElConvoy's hypothetical All-Star Daredevil feat. Green Lantern. Quote:

WE ALL KNOW HE'S ROYALLY PLASTERED, ALGO! Yep. And the one with OctoPeter doesn't count because OctoPeter isn't Spidey. |

I would really like someone to explain to me Malice. I get it. Susan Storm went nuts, went Evil, and created a new personality. But why did she create one that looked like a character from a 1970's bdsm arthouse film? It's bad enough the only woman on the team's super power is turning invisible. Now when she goes evil she becomes a dominatrix?!
Maybe it's her repressed persona or inhibitions coming out? *shrugs*

She can also use these shields to attack her opponents so yeah she is pretty damn useful. Especially since she is pretty damn intelligent.
She has also proven herself time and time again to be the most powerful member of the Fantastic Four, capable of holding back an entire army of Annihilus's drones, a tidal wave, and a legion of enemy soldiers.
More often than not, Susan is the person playing the most active role in keeping the Fantastic Four a family. She is FAR from the "usless Invisible Girl" from the 1960s. |
Just look at a recent issue of Avengers/New Avengers were she single handedly took out all of the avengers with only one attack.
I honestly haven't read anything Marvel since... I think Onslaught.
You really missed alooooot of great stuff. The 90s Marvel is nothing compared to what Marvel is now especially when it comes to female characters.
I haven't read many comics lately myself. So what made Sue snap? Anybody care to share that little tidbit of wisdom?
Gonna put it in spoiler tags but here we go
It all began with her husband Reed working together with Iron Man, Beast, Namor, Doctor Strange and the Black Panther to prevent the so called incursions. During those two earths from parallel universe clash together either destroying one or both earths in the process. To prevent this from happening to our earth Reeds group travelled to the opposing earth and destroying it before it could destroy the main marvel earth. Steve Rogers didnt like that and build a group of Avengers to fight Reeds Avengers team. So Sue Storm infiltrated Rogers team and when both Teams fought each other she used her force fields to stop the Team led by Steve with one single attack |
That's it? No traumatic experience? I figured her Franklin or Johnny got killed or something.

That is so true. But most characters like her don't snap unless there was a catalyst involved. Does anybody here remember Earth/Universe/Paradise-X series'?
She didnt really snap she just wanted them to stop fighting.
Were those part of the House of M storyline or am I thinking of something else? |
They were their own set. I would describe them as the "end of the road" of Marvel. Kind of how like everything comes to an end. Or at least that's how I took them. The entire Earth population is mutants. All Psychics, save one, are dead. They discuss that Logan isn't really a mutant but the actual evolution of the Earth species. It's deep and weird.
