I'm pretty sure he was referring to Gridon but just got off on a bit of a tangent. ("I wish Gridon wasn't a joke character. . . but at least he's still alive".) It's an easy mistake to make when speaking.

Just got my Sengoku Driver today and I have to say, the actual driver itself is a lot smaller than I expected which actually is good for me since I am running our of room. But so far, I think it is pretty cool. Also, aside from the lock on/off, and fruit arms, and fruit squashing, au lait and sparkling sounds, are there any other sounds that can be activated by the knife?

The knife is more for cosmetic purposes. When you "slice", a small peg pushes forward and pushes the "Battle" button on the back. That's how it cycles through sounds on Gashapon and Candy Toy locks.

Oh I know the sounds are mostly from the lockseeds. I was just wondering if they just cycle through those sounds on the Driver. So DX has the Lock on/off sounds and the "game mode" ones when not in the driver; is that all that is different? Just curious.

Yup. Blood Orange and the Energy Lock Seeds are the only DX ones without "Battle sounds," (Inves noises for Blood Orange and "System start, System shut down, connecting" for Energy Lock seeds) and the DX Rider ones (W-Wizard) go "LEGEND RIDER, BATTLE START! ___WIN! TRY AGAIN!" Candy toy and gashapon just cycle through the belt sounds, and ones for specific riders say a phrase after the finishing move sound. For example, the Candy Toy Donguri goes "TATAKAE TATAKAE TATAKAE!" while the Gashapon one goes "KAMEN RIDER, GRIDON! DONGURI ARMS!"

Ah, ok thanks! I'm not particularily interested in Kamen Rider Lock seeds and have some gashapon and candy toys. Oh, thought the candy toys and gashapon had the same sounds. Guess not. haha

So why do the Budoh and Mango Lockseeds have that "3 button" setup and does that mean Mango Arms also says "[Fruit] Shot! [Fruit] Power!!" instead of the "[Fruit] Squash, [Fruit] Au Lait, [Fruit] Sparking" set?

The 3 button is just a cosmetic thing as well. The top button is the only functioning button. The only way they have the "Power" sound is if they are in the Musou Saber, because the other "button" on the back of the DX is pushed in by a peg.

From what I've seen; as a first time kamen rider merch buyer, is that this is the most popular/sold out kid gimmick line ever. You can still find wizard and fourze figures from their "change" series for like $8-$20. Anymore if you want melon arms $40 is a steal!

Well, this show has literally increased Kamen Rider toy sales nearly 400%. THe actual number is 392% but still. It's a solid home run for BOJ.

I'm surprised they aren't reissuing the older AC figures to cash in as they aren't profiting from these secondary market price increases.

They might be, just taking awhile to make them in the factories. I say they hold the line on Toqger and focus completely on Gaim :lol

Im shocked bluefin has not jumpped on the Gaim ACs yet. Realy its like they are beleeding money.

Look, I know it sucks that I ordered it before you but could you stop saying stuff like it was taken? Mandarake is an open website, literally anyone could have ordered it at any time. But one came online after midnight last night and I ordered it. It popped up while I was looking for new times last night and it filled my order out.

There was no ill will intended and I wasn't looking to "take it" from anyone else. If you want one badly enough, then set up a Figinstock alert for new Sengoku Drivers. You'll get a direct e-mail every time one comes in stock. Hell I'm not even guaranteed to get the one I ordered last night. I haven't gotten a confirmation message yet.

OK, so the Arms change gaims are WAYYY to expensive for me to collect them all. Sucks. I realy love this show but the mech is way too much for importing.

It's a strange cosmetic decision anyway. The "trumpet buttons" I assumed were because Ryugen's signature weapon is a firearm as opposed to a melee weapon, but Mango Arms' weapon is a mace, so that idea becomes moot.

I guess "Grapes with Milk" isn't popular in Japan or something.

Just got a email from Hobby Link Japan that informed my AC Zangetsu is out of stock. Funny thing is, that item has been in the Private Warehouse for weeks, yet when it's time to ship me my order it mysteriously disappeared. I am pretty pissed because I bought it at a good price and now I am not sure I can get it under $30 anywhere else.

Does that mean you paid for an item and then hlj gave the figure to someone else?

It's possible. I think it's odd that they only discover it when it's about to ship, when that item was supposed to be put aside for me from the day I ordered it. I suspect foul play but what can you do?

I must be the only person on this forum who has never had a bad experience with HLJ.

Chances are someone messed up and gave yours away, HLJ have become such a joke of a company honestly, I have preorders with them atm but I'm not putting my hopes too high that they'll actually live up to them. Like it really defeats the point of even having a preorder system if it doesn't guarantee that you'll get the product. So many sites can manage it so why on earth is HLJ got such a big problem with implementing a proper system like that, does not help customer trust at all.

Also woooo almost all the AC I ordered in January have arrived, just waiting on Gridon to arrive from Cstoys. Can't believe I only decided to start on this line in mid january and I'm pretty much almost caught up aside from normal Zangetsu.

Seeing Knuckle in this weeks episode makes me really wish that my Sengoku Driver would come quicker, considering it is my Birthday. >_<

My Lock Seed count keeps going up and down due to having to sell things >_<. Like now, it's going down by one cause I put my Donguri Lock Seed up for sale since I'm getting the DX set with Durian

I just had an... odd experience with HLJ.

I pre-ordered ToQ-oh (however you spell it :p) when it went up and then canceled it last week. Then I got two payment requests for it, the product name was left blank in both emails. Then in less than 24hrs (closer to 12) I got an Overdue Payment Notice for that order. So, then I emailed them and set it straight. HLJ is the king of "WTF" these days...

On topic, I have been eying the belts for Gaim, but I just can't pull the trigger yet. I am all in on the AC figures though, that is if my HLJ pre-orders don't go straight to backorder :p
