Is there a reason the kyuutama globe spins on the minipla version?

Given how minipla are constructed, and that they were going to need us to place something inside it, it had to be split. As for spinning, I expect it's because that's what DX Kyutama do - "mawaslide" comes from somewhere - even though the image doesn't change on the minipla for practical reasons.

Makes sense. Just some of the instructions mention it can spin I'm assuming its just saying to have the seams face the same way.

Also I noticed in the Ryuteioh set the box has the sasori kyuutama image reversed (showing the scorpion instead of the ranger while in arm mode). Is there reason for that or a error?

It's not exactly reversed. What happened is that for the Voyagers that were included in two sets (Shishi in the second KyurenOh and Sasori in Ryuteioh) instead of using the same cockpit stickers they gave the second versions Kyutama designs based on the special attack designs from different versions of their Kyutama. The one in the Ryuteioh set I believe uses the design from the SG Sasori Kyutama.

I was a little apprehensive about the elbows, but the other pictures on the blog makes it look like pull-out elbows are going to be a thing, although they may not be placed that close to where an elbow would be.

I'm curious as to what the pink peg holes under the fist will be used for.

Ooh, I'm liking the look of it. I'm excited for the release. It looks like the elbows for patokaiser are right at the wrists which might limit pose-ability options which is unfortunate but it does look good.

Also seems like series 3 is only available in a 10 pack set so you'll end up with doubles of whatever is included in that wave. Guess I'll be waiting for Mandarake or something for that because I don't want to deal with doubles.

Okay so I really want the Live Robo Super Minipla, and forgot about it until a couple of days ago. Where is the best place for me to order it from? I'd rather have cheap than fast, since I'm pretty patient.

I'm hoping Liverobo availability loosens up after it's released. Preorders seem hard to come by. Due next month, then LiveBoxer in April.

I use amiami since last year, I have nothing to add. If you preorder you will have to pay only on release.
The only thing is that they will not sell live boxer as it was an exclusive bandai premium. I don't know if the preorder is still open (it was reopened due to having too much success !)

Amiami has opened preorder here for a clear version of lupinkaiser and patokaiser.
The set is complete (8 box in the set, so only one goodstriker to do either lupinlaiser or patokaiser).
Too bad that we can't do that, and finding a spare will be difficult (and there is no way that I will buy a second box only for good striker).
I will keep the clear version for the ultimate gattai. I do hope they will release all in clear version and don't stop like they did with orion last year...

Nope, like Neoxul mentioned, they only charge once it's in stock and ready to ship. I've been using them for the past 4 years or so and haven't had any issues. The only thing to know about AmiAmi is that they don't really like people cancelling orders. They will do it out of courtesy but if you cancel too many orders your account may get closed or something like that. Other than that, AmiAmi is a very reliable site for Japanese imports.

Well, I pre-ordered it. LiveRobo is one of my favorite Sentai mechs, so I'm glad that it exists. Not sure if I want LiveBoxer or not. I love the design, in a "so bad its good" sort of way, and it would be a nice companion to LiveRobo...but I don't know if I really need it, and it's gonna be a lot harder to track down than LiveRobo.

I'm also debating grabbing the Lupin vs Pato mechs, but I think I want to see them in-show first.

I miss being in Japan and seeing these things on sale at 7-11. I actually grabbed one of the Kyuranger kits, not realizing it was only a partial mech. That's when I learned what a minipla was :lol

According to the Bandai candy blog, the metallic parts of LupinKaiser will be cast in a metallic shade like last year's "glister injection" versions of KyurenOh, rather than gray. Furthermore, it looks like this year's Lupin/Pat "special" sets will be clear versions, according to the solicit on AmiAmi. Now I'm glad I ordered the initial sets. (I've always regretted accidentally ordering the clear versions of ToQ-Oh.)

Have skipped the solids, and ordered the clear set on HLJ. I'm fine with just getting one Good Striker, since I really only like the LupinKaiser configuration.

The official release date for VS Vehicle 01 (the LupinKaiser mini-pla) is now set to March 6th. Be on the lookout for payment requests popping up.

Cyclone Dial fighter is about as convincing an arm as Koguma Voyager.

Still, looks like they packed a lot of play value into it.

Yay! Looks like it's compatible to the peg system from previous kits! Can't wait to have the Gokaigers steal it from the thieves on my shelf!

Also, has anyone figured out what the peg holes on the bottom of the feet will be compatible to for upgraded forms? Looks like it has some built in features for future Aux mechs with a future one acting as boots.

It seems they're going back and forth between Power Rangers and pre-Power Rangers shows. I do hope the next Power Rangers one is Dairanger, though. I'm also looking forward to Ohranger. If they do King Pyramider, I might actually get the big dumb exclusive.

Since they're doing Kakuranger, I'm going to be angry if they don't do Ninjaman. I've always wanted a nice figure of him, and the only other chance he might have to get one is Hasbro at some point in the future.

Liverobo is here! To be honest, I'm a little scared to assemble it. I have some practice with gunpla kits, and I've gotten better over time, but man I want this one to look nice.

I just don't care much for Muteki Shogun. I might be convinced to buy the other one though, if they make it.

Go for it! Jet falcon was a really straightforward build, and I think it looks decent without paint.

Well, I'm not too terribly fond of the design of it, so I didn't really want to go through the hassle of trying to order it. If I were to ever see it at a store or at a con or something for a reasonable price, I'd consider buying it. I doubt that day will come though, since it's an online exclusive.
