The plot summaries I've seen didn't make it seem like it was a "dream", basically as I understood it ->


Before the movie starts, every Heisei Rider is erased, but are remembered as fiction. The villain wants to erase the singularity points that keep the memories of the Riders around in order to completely erase them.
Due to Fuutaros making a contract with Ataru, somehow he brings Zi-O and Build into that world, and the movie begins with them finding the world strange without understanding what's going on.
Towards the final battle, Den-O appears with his powers, since he's also a singularity point, and then the other Riders also reappear since they haven't been completely forgotten (Den-O "time is memories" stuff). Note that Zi-O gets the W Watch from Fuuto's foodstall seller even before the final battle, when the Riders are still erased.


Maybe the summaries missed some important point that someone who actually watched the movie could get though, but it seems like there's just a single world, it's just that everything had been erased before the movie starts, but then they return later.

Oh hell yeah! Ryuki is back!!!! Interesting that they're using Another Ryuga too. Hopefully it means Shinji will transform and fight!!

I think they can make it an Agito two-parter if they decide to have fun with the wordplay. G3 maybe if they decide to go that route but I doubt Gills will because of this.

I guess so as long as the writers know what they are doing. It does seem like a fun idea.

I think Another Ryuga could quite possibly be my favourite Another Rider design.

Yeah we'll never see Gills' actor again but if it's the Agito arc it's obvious Toshiki Kashu will return. Although I do hope Rina Akiyama does too.

Or Toei goes crazy and get Ryunosuke Kamiki because let us not forget, before he was Taki in "Your Name." he was the kid god in Agito. :lolol

Aside from Agito I knew the actor from the Rurouni Kenshin movies starring Takeru Satoh. Funny how some Agito actors gravitated toward Den-O.

Yep, he did that and live-action Bakuman with Sato.

I wish she had reprised her Mana role in Decade, or any place, instead of continually returning to the series as the inferior Naomi. This would be a good chance to rectify this.

In the year 2019, the Mirror World reappears. Ryuki and other Riders from his show stand up again as a new Battle Royal begins... Shinji/Ryuki is confirmed to be the protagonist, but Zi-O and Geiz will appear too. Other cast members will be announced later.

After the Shinobi announcement, most people were expecting the other spin-off to be about Quiz, so this is quite surprising.

Toshiki Inoue will be writing the script, Takayuki Shibasaki will be directing the Ryuki spinoff.

Inoue was one of the main writers on Ryuki, so for as much as one can complain about him and his writing (god knows I do) it's literally the next best thing outside of getting Kobayashi to do it. Generally speaking, I'll for sure take one of the writers of a show coming back for works related to it versus an alternative. Even if it's Inoue.

All being said, this news makes me very happy. Ryuki was my first Rider series and remains a favorite. All four main Riders have returned in recent years or appear open to doing so, so if they could get them all back for this it'd be the best I could ever hope for (especially praying Ryohei returns in a more proper fashion, Chou Super Hero Taisen was a goddamn disgrace and waste of time).

Well if it's Inoue writing then the best we can hope is if he does what he did with the Jetman tribute in Gokaiger.

Hmm..interesting to see Inoue as Main Writer in Rider Time Ryuki.
I think Agito is still the best Inoue's series.

As much as I want it to be true, it really feels like fan creations.
Both Woz fusing, Tsukuyomi being a rider, Oma Zi-O with Chronos and Evolt armors, and then SaikyoMao and Singular ridewatches.
I hope I'm wrong but I prefer not putting too much hope into this.

To be fair Singular was outright in the driver and Tsukuyomi being a Rider has been speculated for a long time. But you're not really wrong
