Random thought. It really did surprise me when I saw Fuku Suzuki of all people henshin into a rider him being already a familiar name in Japanese showbiz since he was a kid. I assumed he'd be on that rider movie from not too long ago and that was that. I guess the Hollywood equivalent would be like having Wil Wheaton as a ranger on the early 90s OG MMPR.

Idea. What if the next anniversary rider show was dedicated to filming a show about a Kamen Rider whose cast and staff were suddenly involved in a real battle to save Japan/planet/universe? And so that in the end, everyone would become riders, except for the performer of the role of Kamen Rider :)

Haha, that's actually a pretty fun idea. I feel like that could strike a really fun balance of parody, serious drama, and heartfelt tributes to the series.

While a good idea, I don't think Toei would do something so meta. Revice was supposed to have all the previous Riders exist as TV shows in it's universe, but that was canned because it would have made future crossovers harder. Kamen Rider's Multiverse is a mess though/

I think a main character that's a struggling actor would work well.

I don't know if rider movies have been released outside of Japan before (I mean in theaters, not on DVD), but it's a good sign anyway. Maybe even if these films do not reach the cinemas of our countries, they will probably start appearing online faster. Or at least there will be more fan translation groups.

Is Revice a technological, mystical/magical or organic rider?

There's aspects of all. The Vistamps are tech, made with animal DNA, the inner devil's that most of the Riders need to transform I think were mystic. The show seemed to go back and forth on whether they were actually like Devil's, or just metaphorical inner demons given form. Can't remember if that ever got a definitive answer. And for the Igarashi's specifically, especially Genta, there's a biological aspect considering Genta had Giff's cells put into him, which effected the DNA of hie children as well, making them more powerful than the average human

I think Revice and Geats (unless the Goddess of Creation turns out to be a supercomputer) can be classified as mixed types. So there hasn't been a pure sci-fi show about riders since Zero-One.

'Skeleton Ninja Chronicle') and Seiken 'Black Storm Sword Jet Black' (黒嵐剣漆黒, no idea how this thing is supposed to be pronounced, although If the Seiken uses on-reading rules, I'm guessing it's 'Kokkuranken Shikkoku' or something along those lines).

He's cool, even though the sword looks half-finished! So Desast is the only character in Saber and one of the few in the franchise to have been two different riders. Incredible!

That got me to thinking, and there's actually quite a large number of characters that became completely different riders.
Shoichi (Agito/G3-X) in Agito, Shinji (Ryuki/Knight) in Ryuki, Takumi (Faiz/Delta) and Kusaka (Kaixa/Faiz) in Faiz, literally half the cast in Kabuto (Every TheBee user became a different rider aside from Mishima), Otoya (Ixa/Dark Kiva) and Taiga (Saga/Dark Kiva) in Kiva, Onodera (AR Kuuga/AR G3-X) and AR Shoichi (Agito/Gills/G3), Eiji (OOO/Birth) in OOO, Chase (Chaser/ProtoDrive) in Drive, Kagami (Gatack/Kabuto) in Zi-O, and several characters in Revice (And Saber) became alternate Riders in Beyond Generations.

Beyond Generation, I did not take into account, I admit. But even in such an extensive list, Desast is unique as a kaijin without a human form. Well, if you add BG, then he shares this title with Vice.
And at the same time, the Imagins have one rider for four! (for five! + villains)

I didn't know whether or not to count Imagins since they're for the most part still variations on Den-O, even if they tend to break the rules and exist outside of Ryotaro's body nowadays :lol

I knew Yuji became Orga, but didn't know he also became Kaixa. That's neat

In fact, Yuuji has always been the secondary rider of this show, closed in as a kaijin, so in the end he was just allowed to take his rightful place.
To me, the craziest thing about Faiz is that Inoue wrote a manga dedicated to Kusaka. Probably, after reading it, you need to thoroughly wipe your hands with napkins.

Considering Kusaka was the reason I could never finish Faiz in the first place, I definitely know I'd never be able to read through an entire manga about him :lol

Kusaka/Kaixa does have a cult following of his own regardless of how much of a dumpster fire the character is as a person. Personally I think it's the memes and also how Murakami the actor would hype fans up with stuff like Kaixa Day. That said Murakami seems like a wholesome dude, nothing like Kusaka. And his favorite animal is the crayfish. The man loves crayfish so much he made a song about it. :lolol

But going back to Kaixa, it's certainly very interesting how the saving people and fighting monsters Kusaka looks like a rare bastard to the audience, while Yuka with more kills people shown than all the villains of the show combined seems sweet and kind. This is one of the uniqueness of Faiz as a show.

I wish Calibur had a permanent user who can handle the power. Sophia can hardly fight. And Ora would be a suitable candidate as Another Calibur though.

But will Sophia find her resolve as the new Calibur or will Kurayami be passed onto a new swordsman/swordswoman?

If you were a rider wielding a berserker form, would it cause you to go psycho killer on your enemies?

What about the device, causing you a slow heart attack, until you start losing your humanity?

I understand that this is probably nothing unusual, but it's just great that they continue to communicate even after the end of the show.

I just thought to myself today: Wouldn’t a "Kamen Rider Geats X Shin Kamen Rider"-crossover be really fun? Because I remembered the Kamen Rider Gaim and Kikaider Reboot crossover exists.

Just one episode, a Desire Grand-Prix minigame, “Hunt the first Kamen Rider" or something.

Then rather "Hunt for Nigo" because the performer of the role of Ichigo broke his leg on the set. Apparently Anno got too carried away copying the original show. Plus, you can joke about Nigo and Na-Go. But anyway, I'd love to see it too. Yes, I even think that if not a full-fledged special, then some short advertisement where Tsumuri invites viewers to cinemas should be.

Stuff like this is always nice to see. Which is why I'm thankful we have people like the Hurricanger cast for example do what they do years later. :rock:

From this assumption, I immediately have the thought of Geats wrapped in nine scarves. I'm sure it can be done cool, but the idea itself is very funny.
And my guess is for the next show. What if the rider after Geats is a firefighter or a lifeguard? This will provide an interesting and yet untapped setting for the franchise, bring it back into the heroic mainstream after the selfish protagonist, and create interesting antagonism in the crossover. And it will also be possible to devote time to the reflection of a hero who wants to save people, but choosing between his work and the role of a rider, he is inevitably forced to neglect someone.

Yeah, I could not even begin to remember which of the three e-boys was which. Some of the most forgettable villains in a long time.
