It comes with two Titan Swords, yes!! Probably obvious but it's nice to get confirmation.
Titan Form used to be my favourite Kuuga form and seeing these images is really driving home why; it's beautiful and I think I'll have to get this one even if no other Kuuga forms |

Painting those swords is going to suck. They're clearly one piece.
Hopefully they're at least prepainted gold, but finding a matching metallic purple is going to be annoying. |
Pre-orders now live! Strangely, the photo website hasn't updated to note it yet

And still no boxart too unfortunately, seeing the boxart is one of the exciting aspect of FRS.

Also since it's 8 days til' OOO release, i wanna tell you did you noticed the Taka logo on OOO's chest doesn't have eyes, even tho Taka Medal have one? |
|
Geez, it almost looks like the Seihou
|
OOOs looks awesome. They even got the red piece on the neck. Those forearm stickers look bad, but should be an easy Gundam panel line marker fix.
I think the only big color that feels missing is the fingers, but FRS have always struggled with those. |

Speaking of sticker hell, I built Kabuto yesterday and Zi-O the week before. Zi-O was actually quite pleasant, especially painting the face since all the detail was easy to line. Kabuto might as well have been moulded in one fucking colour. I wish Bandai had properly redone that it, maybe dropping the masked form or upping the price if it meant there could've been some better parts separation. Genuinely hated building that kit and I'm not even going to bother finishing the masked form parts. By contrast I'm currently building Kuuga and it's very nice, but the gold isn't undergated? Seems an odd choice but not one that drastically effects the quality. Painting the armour metallic red was a breeze and the perfect simplicity of Kuuga's design lens itself well to the model kit construction. I've also stopped using the foil stickers and switched to using that chrome Gundam marker for the eyes, so no more visible creases behind the eyes! |

Yeah Agito was largely undergated, but to me it's odd that it needed to be "fixed" at all. Seems kind of obvious that you'd want to undergate the pre-painted gold parts.
Also, are there any physical differences between the regular Kuuga and Decade-specific release? I saw both at the hobby store but just picked up the normal/initial release. |

which means it looks worse and you're better off buying the original version and painting it yourself |

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FFuUOIeW...jpg&name=large I've had Hibiki built for a few days now, just standing on my desk; and... man. He's certainly given competition by Rising Mighty but I think this might be my favourite FRS yet?? There are, for sure, frustrations I had with the kit -- well, one big one; the stickers. I don't know what they did to the ones used for the ankles and wrists but they have the worst adhesive ever and refused to stay down while I was applying them; I totally expect them to fall off at some point. More egregiously though, the silver stickers for his forearms are godawful, being imo off-colour and having an unclear application that made them look atrocious and crinkled by the end of it. And uh. And yet. DESPITE all that. I cannot stop looking at him? Those sticker issues are absolutely overpowered by the solid construction of the kit and whatever tricks they used for that plastic injection to get the body colour right because he just looks gorgeous to me! The head as well is absolutely perfect, as is his "Yo!" hand (the one I'm going to keep on forever I think, because again, I can't stop looking at it). I love this figure. I went in expecting a bunch of flaws - a couple of which were true - but came out loving it more than most my FRSes so far |

The wrist and ankle stickers are actually decals. I don't know why Bandai chose that path, unless they chose it deliberately for the transparent gradient for the forearms. (though why put the brown parts there as well I don't understand)
Hibiki was always going to be tricky. Easily one of the most complicated Rider designs with its multiple small details and colour gradients. I'm surprised Bandai even tried it TBH, and overall they dd a fantastic job. |
|
I get that they couldn't replicate its details entirely (nor the gold on the medals), but I really wish they'd at least done black stickers for the OOO Scanner. As is it looks really ugly and stands out a bunch

The effect part looks a little weird, but I think it will look pretty cool painted.
I was never a big fan of the effect parts in any of the FRS kits, but I've grown to like them a lot more. (great for other figures too) and wish more kits came with them now. I just don't really display model kits with effect parts. |

Preban orders start today
I genuinely thought this was the Seihou XD It functionally works as it too! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FGM5JLiV...jpg&name=small https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FGM5JLjU...jpg&name=small https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FGM6AFKV...g&name=900x900 |

When the hell did they reveal Tajadol lol. I guess this is the first official final form they're doing. How much is it? Bluefin will hopefully lick it up. Cant wait for them to do Shauta, and probably will release the ridevendor before the seihou. |
Well damn that was quick!! For one thing, announcing it a day before Tatoba's official release; and doing it before even Gatakiriba or Ratoratah? I guess they just know what the people want!

It is a pretty big leap for Premium Bandai kits, in fact? It was probably inevitable of course with how this is one of the most beloved forms of all time and the linchpin of where a bunch of OOO's popularity comes from, but... even so, this is by far the most original non-Main Rider kit aside from Trychaser in terms of how many new parts there are. In common with Tatoba it'll only be sharing certain joints and limb parts; this is a big jump from even the Den-O and Kuuga forms!

I'm hoping for Faiz blaster form.
Also Tatoba's kit looks really good straight built. It actually looks like a fun kit to build and paint. |
Looks like Tajador is selling out quick on p-ban. They're saying
"This product has been very well received and shipped [April 2022]. May end early. If the item is out of stock, please be assured that we are currently adjusting the reception for monthly shipments. After that, we will inform you about the application acceptance for monthly shipment on the site as soon as it is decided. " So sounds like it's already a pretty successful kit! Nin-nin-game has it up for preorder for anyone looking for it. Might want to act fast if that notice is anything to go by. https://www.nin-nin-game.com/en/kame...n-bandai-.html |
That's very good to hear
|
I've also seen the Kuuga form kits sell out very quickly and get second runs. It's a pretty good sign they're doing well -- probably why they're doing 4 whole premium bandai kits in the first 5 months of 2022!
|
Hey, to anyone who might have the OOO figure-rise…would the medal fit in the shf ooo driver?
I ask this because I lost the Taka metal from my copy SS Tajador shf figure :( |

The kit isn't out yet I'm afraid; it releases tomorrow. I imagine they would be about the same size though

just my random thought, but it would be cool if Figure Rise get another ad / promotional video, probably after the finish Heisei Rider Project Beginning, haha |
They're seriously putting OOO's final form behind P-Bandai? Well fuck everyone outside the US and Japan I guess. :/
|
Just about everything that's not a Main Rider is Premium Bandai, though this is definitely the most important thing they've put behind it.
Still, I wouldn't worry too much -- Premium Bandai FRS kits are very easy to get at base price on the aftermarket |
