You may actually want to hold off. I picked it up off Mandarake recently, and although the Autovajin is cool, Faiz himself has more in common with W and OOO than Ryuki, Gaim, and Den-O. The hips are the older drop-down variety rather than the newer ball joints, and the shoulders are a lot like that of W, which never sit quite right. It's not an awful figure, but it hasn't aged so well.

If Bandai follows their pattern, I wouldn't be surprised to see a renewal Faiz announcement sometime in the next year. If I could make the choice again, I'd just pick up Autovajin and wait on an even better Faiz.

I don't own many figuarts, at least not many from different shows, so my judgment is a little biased. My favorite SHF is still Gaim Orange Arms, which was my very first SHF-purchase alongside Baron Banana Arms. I love the look of Gaim, the orange fruit-visor is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the light hits it at a certain angle. Articulation and playability-wise he's perfect, although I admit I'm aware of the problems with the lockseed holder and the clip for the Musou Saber, even though it isn’t a thing on my Orange Arms. But it is on Pine and it's damn annoying.

Worst... eh. I have no figuart that I really hate. My Korukage is the most faulty one I got: Bent Kagematsu, improperly installed leg-joints which in conjunction with the floppy, loose foot-joint makes it almost impossible to stand him up. He falls over at the slightest contact every time. That's the figure I'm the most mad at, to a point where I was about to throw it against a wall. But then I remembered what I payed for the damn thing so I decided not to.

I don't know if I should take Korukage for the worst one since technically only the QC-errors are to blame, not the figure itself, but it would be unfair saying Double is the worst for not being 100% show-accurate but the figure itself is awesome or going with Blue Beet because of the hindered articulation in the legs, but the figure looks awesome and the legs are the only point I would have to criticize.

So Kurokage it is, sorry Hase-chan.


EDIT: Ridoron and the wave effects are going up for pre-order July 1st, also a Black RX re-release that will be released alongside the Ridoron.

Favorite: Ryuki

Least Favorite: Takuto Tsunashi. Not toku, but still an SHF. He was one of the early anime figuarts, and it REALLY shows.

To be fair, it's not like there is a guarantee they won't use them in a Renewal since they still gave those hips to Black, Rx, and Shadow Moon.

The new Wave effects are beautiful! The Aura ones leave me pretty cold, though. They're so flat compared to the other effects pieces. I think I'll finally be skipping an effects set. I do not anticipate enjoying the battle for Ridoron tomorrow night.

Wave effects? Have they given a release date for the wind or lightning ones yet?

Wave Blue and Wave Clear. I haven't seen anything pointing to a date for the others yet.

Edit: Er, my bad. I forgot the Thunder effects are September. No idea on the wind.

Favorite: Renewal Kuuga

Least Favorite: Shinkenger Figuarts (these really aren't bad figures, but they're the ones I have the least fun with)

How are the OOO figuarts? Eiji is one of my favorite riders so I need a figuart representation of him on my shelf lol

Majority of them are so-so. TaToBa and GataKiriBa suffer from "Batta Legs" which can sometimes be loose, and also have barely any ankle tilt due to the design. TaJaDor and PuToTyra are the best out of them IMO.

I really want to grab a PuToTyra one of these days. If only they'd stop making new stuff long enough for me to catch up. :lol

Hands down love mine :lol. Problem with mine (haven't heard any one else report this) is one of his knee caps tends to fall off if I mess with his legs too much. And by too much I mean bend them to do a pose. Really sucks when I'm taking pics XD

My TaToBa is not as bad as most people's figuart of OOO that they have got. I admit that he is not a horrible figuart, but I do feel like that he looks dated now. However TaJaDor still looks nice. I got TaJaDor last year and I was surprise that he was still a good figure after a few years later.

Yeah TaToBa is probabyl the weakest of the OO line. Mine is extremely loose, the sculpt is really dated by now and some details like the hands look really gummy and are not particularly well sculpted.

I really like OOO, but for the figure representation in my cabinet I'm waiting on a Shinkochu Seiho OOO.

Really? Dude, that's like... the most common complaint about PuToTyra though. All of them do it. Didn't take long before I just superglued mine in.

Well, I hadn't heard about that from anybody here.

The hinge on one of my TaToBa's knees snapped in half first time I tried to pose it. I fear that if I try to fix it with superglue, the knee will never move again. The plastic feels cheap compared to other Figuarts I own. Very little range of motions in the ankle.

TaToBa was my single worst Figuarts purchase.

I'm not too crazy about SHF CycloneJokerXtreme to be honest. His hands are a pain to put on and his legs feel floppy as hell. He looks nice on display, but he could be much better though.

I like all 6 of the ones I have. However I don't pose them that much so I can't tell you how their joints and stuff are.

Finally just got confirmation on this month's N-Y order being shipped. I'm really quite eager to see Ryugen Yomi in person and finish up Sun Vulcan.

They are pretty cool, but I might be getting rid of the alternate forms for spacing reasons. Well that and they would look out of place if Bandai were to do a Renewal version of OOO.

Took 10 minutes loading but I finally got the Battle damaged goku.

I think I can wait for Ridoron, him being a retail release makes me think it'll be easier to come by around the time. Plus the old Masked Rider one is actually pretty good despite it's age so I'm not sure if I want to make that jump.
