Thats because it was just the first season.

Why is that an excuse? A season should still have a clear act structure, and most importantly resolution, even if it plans to be spread into multiple seasons. The first season of Attack on Titan was just like one long boring single episode.

You complaint about the show not resolving itself and it didnt becuase the show is not finished.

I didnt say the show had great pacing but the last Episode ending on a cliffhanger and leaving you with more questions is part of being a televised show.

So a show should raise questions in every season but not answer any of them until the last season? Because that worked so well for Lost. If you're gonna tease me every episode with questions and not attempt to answer a single one of them in that same season then I dunno how that could be anything other than terribly placed.

They answered the mystery of who the female titan was . The other Questions of what is in the basement and where the titans come from are going to be answered in the following seasons.

I actually completely forgot about Annie :lol I guess that shows how forgettable the show was overall.

I loved Yesterdays episode of Blue excorsist.

Blue Exorcist is a show I've been meaning to watch forever, might have to pick it up on Bluray.

Have you not watched Claymore? Or any other anime adaptation from a manga? Creating their own ending IS the WORST thing to do.

Attack on Titan stopped there because that is the end of the story arc. The next chapter in Volume 8 starts the next arc. The anime will continue soon enough. I'd rather the show NOT Have any bull**** filler.

It doesn't have to make up an ending, it could just avoid adapting the manga in such a way that the anime is one long footnote of pure boredom.
