Also with drive, I'm not getting wild or technique, I miss out on weapons and hands but I'm just too satisfied with owning the TK versions that there's no point getting them again. Like they don't pose that much so the extra articulation doesn't really add to the experience. Definitely picking up chaser and type tridoron when they drop though. Has Mach's deadheat gone up for preorder already?

I had it in an order with the Figma Horse.

The horse got delayed until the end of September, because of course it did, and I couldn't split the preorder because N-Y is a bit of a bastard and the delay was "announced" the day of the payment deadline.

So optimistically, I'm not gonna see the Grape of Wrath until the first week of October.

Wonder why NY doesn't seem to have Marika yet.. She came out a week ago.

Their processing time varies, but I've learned not to order from NY unless it's a last resort or something I don't really need immediately. In the past, they've taken as long as a week after the payment request deadline before I even receive their 'order processing' email.

Okay, what's with the tiny, easily-lost, totally unnecessary bits on recent SHF release?

I'm not talking about accessories: Figuarts are already famous for tiny, easily-lost accessories, and that's a reason why many of us love them. I'm talking about the kneepads, elbow details, and in the case of Kamen Rider Mach, his antennae.

Unlike Lock Seeds, swappable belts, and similar, I can't think of any reason why these parts need to be removable. I don't get any display advantage from removing the elbow details on Drive. The reason I'm even bringing this up is that some of them fall out really easily. I'm actually a little shocked that I still have both of Drive's elbow details.

Is this just a cost-cutting measure for Bandai to avoid molding unique elbows? Is there some benefit we're getting from this that I'm just not seeing? The closest I can get is Mach's antennae, since I suppose an impact that could snap one of them is more likely to just dislodge it.

Anyone else find this to be an irritation? Should I just calm down?

I think it could be cost when it comes to elbow and kneepads. I've never had too many problems, but I think if it ever became an issue for me, I'd either use floor polish to tighten the connection or I would just super glue it in place. I can't think of any reasons for stability or the like, however, as those likely wouldn't break anywhere near as easily as antennae would.

Well aren't S.H.Figuarts all made from a similar skeleton? if so then the elbow and knee details could be pieces molded separately that way tehy can reuse the same skeletons

My guess is, for whatever reason, they wait to ship out orders with TWEs until all TWEs for the month are in, and the last ones this month are due the 24th, I think? It's weird, but it's something I've noticed that they do.

Their processing times aren't exactly quick, and I wish their shipping prices were cheaper, yes. They're still reliable for me so hardly a last resort, since I usually only wait a couple days between the processing mail & actual shipment. I order enough each month that I go with EMS shipping each time anyways, but it's not a big deal either way. A few extra days won't kill me.

Well in that case them being removable is preferable to having them snap off altogether, which I could believe could happen to someone if they weren't careful when messing around with the visor *shrug*

Yeah, after having my Renewal Black's antenna break, I'd much rather they handle antennas like they did on Mach. I'd rather a toy with misplaced parts that could potentially show up somewhere than a broken toy that can never be fully repaired.

So I have a question for those who order often from AmiAmi. I have one order awaiting payment and another order that's a preorder. The Preorder drops early next month. Is it possible for them to just hold on to the order that's currently released and awaiting payment and just combining it with the preorder items, or is that something they don't do and I need to pay shipping twice?

They do orders monthly. So if your item is released next month, they can't combine it with the one that requires payment this month.

You could ask them, but they have a page on their site for combining orders, if that doesn't let you combine them, then chances are they won't want to do it.

Has anyone got a shipping notification from nippon for Marika?

Nope. I opened a ticket to find out when they expect her and Zeronos but I haven't heard a peep.

They listed the ETA as the 25th. I don't think they ship on weekends, so I'm not expecting any emails (processing or shipping) until early next week.

They did the same thing with Ryugen Yomi, some got send out on the release-date, others (like mine) at the end of the month. I have no idea why.

As long as I pay early, I usually get a prep email before the release date.

I've never experienced any difference in how soon they process stuff, whether I pay very early on or closer to the due date.

Do you guys remember the English Tamashii Web shop from a while back? While working as a unpaid volunteer at Otakon for Bluefin, I did ask Xavier Lim about it on why it hasn't been updated in a long time. Xavier said that the English Tamashii web shop was made to test international interest. Xavier made it sound like that the site didn't do so well as they expected.

Well that's not really surprising when you only have 3 items on the site, and none of them are from your popular properties, plus they're all sold out.

At Otakon, they didn't have any Toku stuff on display. Gundam and DBZ was Bluefin's biggest focus at this year's Otakon. I didn't ask too many questions because I was busy working (I normally help out on putting away boxes, putting things on display and standing around to make sure the line does not go crazy) and the Bluefin staff was pretty busy too. Not to mention I can be rather shy in public too. The only Toku related stuff I heard was about the possible idea of a MonsterArts Zero line similar to the Figuarts Zero line.

As for Non Toku, I ask about Figuarts Nappa and they where like "No sorry. Can't comment on that at the moment".

Are Den-O and I the only ones who grabbed Zeronos as part of this month's haul? And I'm just assuming he did, but I think it's a pretty safe bet :D

I haven't seen Den-O so I don't really have any interest in Zeronos other than a general appreciation for the suit design. And unfortunately I'm not at the level of financial stability where I can use that as justification for such a pricy purchase.

Generally speaking, the Americas present a larger demographic than Europe just due to sheer population. That alone would be reason enough to put a bit more effort into it- shotgunning works for more than spies, "psychics", and bird hunting.
