The Bitch Cobbler is on the way. |

Also, as stated, Bluefin is based in America, so they naturally cater to the American market. Europe is just extra cash in their pocket. I hate that they aren't listening to the fans more. |
Marika finally shipped. It'd be nice if NY would actually ship things on time or update their shipping schedule.

It hurts that the UK Tamashiii twitter keeps posting Rider stuff, they should stop teasing and start releasing D;

Both of those already exist in Figuarts form, Urataros is a bit old, but Rod From was in a 2 pack with Gun Form last year. The only thing really left is Plat Form. I think every other single form has been made. I'd totally be up for a ver 2 of Momtaros and Urataros though. |
I would really love a Plat Form. Of course, there are still some already released figures I haven't yet acquired, but I would grab the heck out of PF.

Marika is a peach. Mario is... Mario. Geddit? |
Oooooooh. Momotaros is also a peach.

Besides, Marika's already pink. |
I just had a mental image of Momotaros wearing a Princess Peach dress and crown.
It was beautiful. :,) |
I freakin love this place XD

Found this at random, which is pretty helpful.
https://36.media.tumblr.com/0b7083f0...rcuo5_1280.jpg Can anyone tell me how the Shinkenger figuarts scale compared to something more recent (i.e. Zyraunger or any recent Riders)? The farthest back I have is Gokai Blue. |

These three look so great together. Can't wait to finish off the Energy Riders with Sigurd and the show Riders altogether with Knuckle. |
I'm sure this has been asked many times before, but since this is the first time it is happening to me, I have a question regarding AmiAmi. Luke comes out on Aug 8th while Agito comes out at the end of the month. Will AmiAmi charge me for both on August 8th or will I not have to pay anything until both are ready to ship? Or will I have to pay for Luke on the 8th, then Agito at the end with the shipping cost?

I haven't posted in this thread yet which strikes me as a grievous oversight from my part considering that figuarts are the main reason I've gotten back into Kamen Rider, hardcore. I already had eight Dragon Knight figmas, which I got last year because I love Ryuki (well, kind of. in reality, i got spear's figma because it looked awesome, got interested in ryuki, watched ryuki, loved ryuki, bought a bunch others afterwards) but had steered clear of figuarts on account of how they were a lot more expensive.
...but then a friend of mine got me Abyss for my birthday in June and I was just blown away by the utter perfection that he is. With Abyss showing me how completely amazing the Ryuki figuarts could be there was no way I wasn't going to get hooked. So I got super hooked. Sooo basically not even two months later and I have like...most of the Ryuki figuarts? At this point I'm only missing Knight, Odin, Tiger, Alternative, and the Survives. (and Blank Ryuki and the Ride Shooter, which I'm not planning on getting). I've probably spent way more than I should (and certainly far more than I did on the figmas...) but I can't say I regret any of it. They're all just so great. I managed to get a Gai pretty cheap off mandarake (57ish bucks?), opened and used. I was a bit worried about that at first, but it seems my concerns were misplaced. He's actually in a better condition than some new figuarts I've gotten, and all around a fantastic looking figure. I've never been the biggest fan of his design (colors are too drab) and the Thrust figma didn't do much to change that, but this figuarts just makes it look great. He poses great, he looks great. He's just great. And he looks awesome paired up with Metalgelas (who is itself one of my favorite figures). I never gave them much thought before, but the rhino team may just be the strongest one as far as the figures are concerned. But then the Ryuki line in general is just generally pretty perfect. Uh, anyway. I mainly focus on Ryuki, but I have some figuarts from other series. A few Doubles and Crystal Skull (who are alright), Meteor (who I found underwhelming), Gaim Orange Arms (unfortunately mine is a bit of a lemon, but despite his various qc issues he's still one of the most visually appealing figures i own) and Drive and Mach. (drive is ok, mach is awesome). I also have the four riders from Blade, and I love them probably as much as I do the Ryuki figures. Amazing detail for some really amazing designs. Chalice is my favorite Rider design overall, and the figuarts is truly a thing of beauty. I just wish Leangle's eyes were the right color. That one thing is kind of hampering my ability to appreciate them as a set. Seems like a really important detail for Bandai to mess up, honestly. Anyway uh, went into rambly blocks of text mode there it seems. I can get carried away singing praise for cool toys, is the thing. Sorry. Anyway...yeah I like figuarts. |
^geez.....

Ryuki got me into Figuarts as well. I first saw Dragon Knight which was alright but fell in love with Ryuki (it was my first Kamen Rider show and still my favorite). I looked at the Figmas for quite a bit but never got around to getting one. The way I came into Figuarts was I went to an AnimeNEXT in Somerset, NJ several years ago with a couple of friends, and saw an SHF Ouja (who at the time was my favorite Ryuki rider and still remains one of my favorite Riders ever, hence the username :D). Then the next day I saw SHF Zolda and got him. Then the next day I saw Hyper Kabuto, and I didn't even begin watching Kabuto at the time, but I thought he looked pretty cool so I picked him up. (Funny enough, Ryuki and Kabuto were the first two Rider series I ended up watching all the way through, and the first two Figuarts lines I've bought from). I went to college after that so I stopped collecting Figuarts for a while, but one day while I was at school I impulse bought an SHF Sasword. A couple of months later I essentially decided to go all in with Ryuki and bought the SHFs of Ryuki and Odin. Then over the following months (especially around Christmas time) I sorta just gradually started building up my Ryuki collection up until the the only Riders I had left to get were Imperer and Femme (mainly because they weren't out yet, but now I have them). Ever since then I fell down the rabbit hole pretty damn hard lol |
It was the S.H Figuarts of Shin Ichigo and Stronger that got me into collecting S.H Figuarts. I became a Rider fan in 2012 and I got them both for Christmas that year. I still think those two still hold up really well.
|
You can probably tell who my first Figuart was XD. After that was Ankh Stand Set, and then GokaiPink. Sorta fluctuated in and out on who I owned, but those three have never left my collection at all :lol

That's before getting non toku stuff like the Iron Man armors which are all good
|
I was a big Spawn collector before I got into Kamen Rider. Seeing how McFarland stop giving a shit about his fanbase, I stop collecting Spawn because Spawn Series 34: Classics was the last retail Spawn figures sold at stores in 2008. He will give us statues to be sold on his website, but they are very pricey and most of his casual fanbase don't have $200 to shell out. The guy makes too many promises and never gives us it after waiting.
Since 2012, Kamen Rider has been my new collecting drug while I still collect Ultraman, Godzilla, Devilman, Mazinger, AVP and other franchises that I still enjoy. |
Oh man are we reminiscing? I got into figuarts from the beginning, I use to buy the souchaku henshin lines with faiz, blade and den-o being the ones I fell down the rabbit hole with. I then picked up the next riders and the rest is history.
|
I got into S.H Figuarts when I bought Kyoryu Red in a shop in NYC (which i didn't know at the time I waaaaaay over paid for) The first rider I got was Riderman and just didn't stop after that .

Image Anime can be pricey on their Japanese imports, but they are not too bad when it comes to normal retail items via Bluefin. I still like to visit them every time I go to NYC. Very friendly people and not many stores these days still have a large section of toku & anime stuff like they used in the 90's and early 2000's.
I did got a O-Medal Set EX set from them last December for like $10 or $15. They had it sitting there for years and decided to buy it. |
I still like to visit them when I'm in NYC . I just have a better idea on which items are over priced .
|
d_amazing works there and he does awesome photography work with his figures.
|
I'm a fan of his work had no idea that he worked there .
|
I am finding it very hard to pose Shinken Red. Or rather, finding a pose I like.
