I have that exact same problem with the figure. I find that he always looks off whenever I pose him, unlike say my MMPR Figuarts which I think look good in just about any pose.

Duke's Dragon Energy Arms is a prominent feature of the movie that was advertised everywhere, it even got an AC figure and the Premium Bandai Lockseed release.

I finally watched "Gaim Gaiden" in the past week and enjoyed that I hadn't seen some of the elements coming. (I'm also inconsistent as to just what stuff I avoid. As yet, I have no resistance to Kamen Rider Ghost news.)

And yeah, I'd be shocked if that isn't a custom Duke.

The Duke was confirmed to be custom by the guy who actually took the image- Wonderfest had that platform for you to display your figures on and he happened to bring his custom with him

I'm in on Gaim in general, and if they cranked out an official version of this, I'm all in. Too bad it's just a custom, it's really pretty (as the Gaim Riders generally all are).

Welp I wasn't really planning on buying any more figures this summer, but made the mistake of browsing mandarake and found Gaim Pine Arms/Baron Mango Arms unopened for 6k and caved instantly. That's. Not good? M..maybe. Hopefully I actually got to it though, I kind of really want it.

Though I guess that means I'll have two Gaims, a Baron, and...Marika and Knuckle when they get here in the fuuutuuuure. What a lopsided excuse for a collection. Suddenly I have a mighty need to get a Bravo and Duke. Gaim has too many designs I want and I haven't even watched the thing. Jeez.

6000 for the Pine/Mango set? That's a steal.

Well that is easy, I haven't read one single bit of news on any of the movies. The last Toku movie I actually watched was... Super Hero Taisen 2. Or the dino ranger movie, depending on which came out first.

6K is a great price, we payed 10k upon release. The figures are definitely worth it. Just one advise: Be very, very careful with Gaim's Pine Iron weapon. Especially the little ring that connects the chain to the flail-thingy. It is really weak, the smallest amount of force will bend it and disconnect the chain. It's not too hard to get it reattached, but better to be careful from the start.

Gravity is no problem, I display him with the flail hanging from the chain, but even if you hold it wrong while posing it the ring can bend. Just be aware of that.

Bravo and Duke are both great. I haven't seen much Bravo's around, but Duke is definitely out there, NipponYasan still have him for a decent price, not too expensive.

And I can understand your feelings, I started collection Gaim last year and I have bought almost all of them, I'll post some pics once the package with Ryugen Yomi decides to show up. But even I run out of money, I'll have to skip the other Energy Riders. But I think my collection is big enough as is, I get Knuckle so I have all the Beat Riders and then I continue waiting for Overlord Baron.

Also. Watch Gaim. Not only will you appreciate your figures much more, it's a great show to watch.

Yeah, almost every single Gaim figure doubled or tripled in price upon release.

Both Bujin Gaim and Lemon Energy Baron appeared frequently on Jungle recently, for good prices too. Keep your eyes on that site.

I'm in the same boat, just replace Kachidoki with Bravo.

Don't have much interest in Jinba, and I've abandoned all hope of getting Shin Zangetsu.

At this point, I'm willing to settle on the AC figure as my Kachidoki representation...just do not feel good paying the crazy aftermarket prices for him.

I saw SHF Gaim Kachidoki going for a unheard of $32 preordered on BBTS. Guess it's a reissue of sorts, likely for those of us that missed out the first time. But I'd double check if I were you, I'm no expert like most of you guys.

Hmm.. got an email from Nippon-yasan to pay for my November and December TWE orders by August 14th. Seems the pay later option is going away for them. Probably been known but I completely missed it if so.

Really making me want to somehow find another place because that payment option was a huge draw for me.

I haven't gotten a notification like that yet, but its really going to suck if that is their new policy. It doesn't seem fair for them to do that when you already made the preorder under their original terms and then they changed it without notice.

So here's the skinny on Nippon Yassan.

Bandai of Japan has changed their policies regarding Tamashii Web & Premium Bandai order totals. What they're doing is requiring immediate payment when orders are placed ahead as usual, but only when the order exceeds 300,000 yen total. So for small time middlemen like mine that isn't an issue as he probably doesn't even meet half that total most months. But Nippon Yassan is a worldwide international service. So their monthly orders are in great excesses of that. So they now have to require people pay for the orders plaved through them because Bandai is requiring them to pay for those orders.

So this isn't NY's fault, it's not even within their control. And just about any site that uses the pay later function and carries exclusive Tamashii or Premium products will most likely have to start doing the same thing as a result. Though I'm not aware of anyone else being affected yet, it pretty much is assured based on the 300,000 yen threshold.

*Sigh* Well, it was fun while it lasted :(

I'm sorry, I missed part of the conversation some where. From what I am reading per this post, you have to pay for web orders when you place your order and not just before they arrive, am I correct?
